Goodbye

Darius's eyes darted across the space where he was being bound. He watched the boy move towards where the chains were connected to the ground.

Cassius gazed at the lock. He wondered if he could find a pin to unlock every one of them.

The sounds of the strides grew louder with each passing second. Cassius breathed heavily as he watched the entrance. It was a wooden door that could break apart into two with just a kick.

"Have you found anything yet?" Darius inquired with a tilt of his head. He sounded anxious.

Cassius guessed that he would be. Those humans intended to harm whenever they came across creatures like this, that were powerful, stronger, and more beautiful than they were.

They had never visualized something and glanced away from it, except that jealousy crept into their hearts. They wanted to be like those powerful creatures also, and the end often resulted in harm.
