She just up and left. Yes, that is what she did. I get some people are not good at goodbyes, but she said her goodbyes to Belinda. Maybe all along she was pursuing Belinda and not me.
Maybe I read everything wrong.
Maybe I should have been careful.
But how could I when I didn't understand when it was happening and I don't either now?
I should just sleep this day off and when tomorrow comes; I will be as good as new. This suck.
"Never in my life did I ever think I will tell you this. Stay awake. Don't sleep." Mrs. Kaden smiles at me.
I laugh at that and snatch the book she has in her hands. I didn't see it when I came to her. Was she hiding it? She looks at the cover and then at my face. "That is a nice book. You should read it."
"Should I?" I ask and read outside of it. "Mrs. Kaden. What the hell?"
"What?"
Shutting the book, I hand it to her with disbelief in my eyed. "Cooking? Really?"
