The last thing he wanted to do was to attend that meeting. But he had to. The email from Mr. Jum screamed trouble.
Vanessa's face was still on his head, no, he didn't like her but there was something about her that he would love nothing but to figure out. He hadn't stayed a long and asked him where she was from or what she did in town.

That was not the only reason for not asking anything about herself, other than being uninterested in her, he saw Brenda walking into Cafe Derry with Ava. Instead of approaching Ava as the man that he thought he was and asking her to let go of the love of his life, he run to the bathroom.
