Protecting Each Other
(THIRD POV)
"What the fuck, Vi?" Ava cussed for the tenth time.
"What?" Again, Vi asked for the tenth time.
Of course, Vi knew what she was talking about but she was aiming to get into Ava's nerves. Just as Belinda, Vi heard when Brenda said she didn't trust either of them and Ava didn't object.
So, yeah, she had every right to bitchy. They were heading to a meeting Ava still hadn't asked her where they were going. She was thinking of ways she would have reacted when Brenda stood to get her handbag.
Now, she was dead sure Brenda was at her place thinking how stupid she reacted.
Their phone rang at the same time. Ava asked Vi to pick up when Vi stretched to pick up hers, she rolled her eyes and muttered, "leave my things alone."
Vi chuckled and picked up her phone. "Hello, sir." She greeted. Ava's breath hitched, there was no one Vi called sir other than her father. Why was he calling now? What did he want?
