Darkness (iii)
(THIRD POV)
Walking down the dark alley, Brenda looked at Belinda and saw how difficult it was for her to walk in the darkness. She looked ahead, she cried, "ouch!"
Belinda turned to her and switched the torch on, she flashed the light in front of Brenda and asked her, "are you okay?"
Brenda nodded, Belinda smiled, "okay. I am so sorry to drag you into this at this time. I know you must be busy with work and all that."
"It is okay," Brenda replied.
Belinda switched off the torch and began walking. If she had turned around, she could have seen the broad smirk on Brenda's face. Brenda pretended she was hurt, as obsessed as she could be, she only thought of one thing, "she is watching me."
It was her way of showing Belinda that she was not good with darkness. It was a lie though; Belinda could walk perfectly in a pitch-black room full of rocks and snakes and not get bitten or getting hurt.
