I missed you
Isabelle and Allen planned to meet that Sunday, wanting to enjoy the time they missed during the past couple of weeks. In the end they decided to go to Isabelle's place, as Allen felt too uncomfortable with Isabelle going to his because of what happened with his father the last time.
Allen arrived after lunch, with some things to each while watching a movie. It was not particularly a date, as Isabelle's parents were around, but they didn't mind for now. Spending time together was the only thing they cared about.
"Thanks, Mrs. Williams." Allen said, receiving a huge glass of iced tea.
"Dear God, stop calling me that, would you? Helen is fine." She smiled sweetly.
Allen nodded. "I think I've never mentioned it before... But you share names with my mother, Helen."
"Really? That most be some sort of sign!" She squealed, her voice high out of excitement. "Maybe I was meant to be your second mom." She winked at him, a playful laugh following right after.
