TRYING TO ESCAPE

Jayden quietly followed his dad out of the house as they walked up to an arranged set of chairs. It was three seats and He wondered who was the vacant seat for. They got to it and sat down. Obviously, he wasn't going to be the one to break the silence so, Oscars did the talking.

“How is the company?” Oscars asked.

“It is fine!” Jayden replied dryly not even looking up at his father.

Mr. Oscars already on time asked for drinks, so while trying to push a conversation with his son, one of the maids walked over with a tray and dropped three glasses of wine.

Jayden looked rather confused and forced himself to ask, “Who is the empty seat for? And what upcoming party?”

Mr. Oscars smiled, “I thought you'd never ask. My personal assistant will be here soon with some important documents i want you to examine. And as for the party, it is one of our partner. He want a closer relationship with us.” He answered, using the opportunity to enjoy more time with his son. He missed him so much and wished he had been a good father, and maybe, his son won't hate him like the way he did.

A male servant approached and when he got to the table, “Sir, your personal assistant is here!”

“Usher him in.” Mr. Oscar ordered and the servant nodded.

The sun was visible but, yet to show it's true self. Jayden tasted the wine to only notice it was alcohol-free. He didn't want to waste too much time with his dad and so, he prayed everything would end. The thought of the previous night flashed in and he couldn't believe he was the one who took her virginity but then, her virginity was the price for what she did.

The middle aged assistant approached and sat on the void seat. Looking at his two masters, deep down he knew the younger master was more dangerous so, he behaved and was on his best comport.

“Here are the documents you asked for.” The middle aged man dropped the files on the desk and Mr. Oscar took them to examine before handling it to his son.

“This are companies interested in partnering with us. And there is a rumour about you that scares them but, i am sure you can settle this. Investigate into them. You also, shouldn't leave The Jackson, for too long. He is the one hosting the party and have specially invited us for it. I want you to come as well.” Mr. Oscar explained.

Meanwhile at the hospital, the doctor and nurses were yet to hear from Loverina. Grandma Clara was worried too but since she couldn't talk or move, she only shed tears.

“I will check their neighborhood when going home.” Nurse Tracy commented.

Nurse Tracy is the only one very close to Loverina because, they lived close but in different streets.

“Please do! I think her Grandma is worried too and it is not good for her health. She suppose to return today with the money and until now, no news from her.” The doctor lamented.

*. *. *.

At the hotel, Loverina was looking for how to escape. She had to risk it because, the thought of loosing her Grand mother was something she would never forgive herself for. So, she walked up to the window and peeped out.

“What if I try to escape through the window?” Loverina opened it and looked down. Hell no, it was too high for her. But then, she might survive. Back then in her house, there was an old tree close to Grandma Clara's house. It was her favorite place to climb but, the height from the window was definitely suicide not fun. She closed back the window and began wondering the around the room. She already had her dirty clothes on without bathing even after what happened the previous night. Loverina, was just too scared to touch or do anything that belonged to the devil.

Suddenly, Loverina felt strong and knocked the door real hard to see if she might get the attention of anyone.

“What is the problem?” A bass voice was heard from outside the door. Loverina, thought it was a passer-by.

“Please help me. I beg of you.” She sounded distress and the door knob was twisted.

When the door went opened, she looked at the face and almost fainted. She recognized him immediately. He was one of men that punched her at the dark warehouse. Immediately, she walked closer and kick him between his legs. The huge man knelt down as he groaned loud with his both hands on the kicked part.

“She's on the run! She is on the run!!” The man held up a phone as he was shouting.

Loverina still trying to escape, finally found the elevator and as soon as she tried to enter, a strong force, pushed her to the wall and she fell down. The pain was unbearable and tears rolled down her eyes.
