Chapter 20

“Robbie, why don’t you take Ted back to your playroom?” Mike said.

“Okay, Daddy,” Robbie said. “Come on, Ted. I’ve got some neat stuff.” The two boys disappeared down the hallway with Thor behind them.

Mike started to say something, but the doorbell interrupted him. He went to answer the door and returned with two very tall men with a little boy in tow. The boy appeared to be maybe a year younger than Robbie, although it was difficult to tell.

“Chris, you and Mickey have met Kevin and David, but I’m not sure you’ve met Kevin’s nephew Anthony.”

“Hi, Anthony,” Chris said. “I’m Chris, and this is Mickey.”

Anthony said, “Hi, where’s Robbie?”

“He’s back in his playroom, Anthony,” Mike said. “You know the way.”

“Yes, Sir,” Anthony said, and headed down the hallway.

Kevin handed Mike a couple of bottles of wine, and he excused himself to take care of them.

Kevin and David settled down on a sofa, and Kevin said, “So, are you guys enjoying being parents?”
