"Thanks for last night," said Zen, for the first time expressing his gratitude to someone. Moreover, that someone is his future wife.
Daisy approached. He was just silent. Then suddenly he fiddled with the kitchen as if looking for something. After that Daisy is seen making something that Zen doesn't know.
It took only thirty minutes, a brownish drink Daisy handed to Zen. "Drink, at least it can reduce your nausea," said Daisy. Zen looked at the glass. His face showed an expression of disgust because he had never tasted the aroma emanating from the drink.
"What is this?" Zen asked.
"Poison, let you die. Come on, drink!" she rolled her eyes as a joke in the first sentence.
Zen looked at her seriously. Then Daisy sighed. "This is ginger. To be more precise, ginger boiled water. There are spices too. It's healthy and non-toxic!" Half aloud at the end of the sentence, Daisy then handed the glass to Zen.
Zen still couldn't believe it. He even just held it without tasting the ginger water. His brows twitched and his gaze became strange.
"It's hard, isn't it, make you believe it?" Daisy suddenly said so.
"Yeah, that's more or less the case," Zen replied and set the glass down on the table. "I'll be fine. And you better get ready, I'll take you home. I have work too." Zen stood up.
Daisy was standing right in front of Zen. No distance but skin in contact. Breaths that are increasingly reciprocating each other, then eyes that look so intimately. "What?" Zen asked.
"I want to talk about something. This time I hope you understand and accept it," said Daisy.
"Depends." Zen crossed his arms. Daisy took two steps back from where she was. He was ready to hear what Daisy had to say.
Daisy cleared her throat. She was a little confused to start until she felt the nape of his neck which seemed like nothing. While Zen stared at her seriously, blinking properly and completely in concentration.
"You know I'm a final year student, right?" Daisy asked, reminiscing.
Zen nodded in understanding.
"I have a wish and a request."
Zen is silent. He let Daisy continue. "Do you mind if we get married after I finish my graduation?" Daisy asked to the core.
"I have to see how serious you are, Daisy. After what you've been doing these past few years, it's a bit difficult for me to see how serious you are," Zen explained.
Daisy knew about it. She was at least used to Zen. She seemed resigned to her mother. But her wish was something she was eager to achieve.
"Please, I promise you. I will still marry you, Zen. At least I can enjoy my undergraduate years before I become someone's wife."
While thinking about Daisy's request. Zen is fully concentrated. All actions and consequences he must have thought of. This time if Daisy tried to run away from him, Zen would pay whatever the assassin would pay to kill the people involved in Daisy's escape.
"Okay. We'll see. If you run away, you know the risks. I can use my money to kill those closest to you or those involved in your escape, Daisy," Zen threatened.
Daisy nodded obediently. But he also felt afraid of the threat. So she let Zen go to his room while she got ready in his room.

Zen just took Daisy to the front of the house. He had already said that he couldn't stop by because the clock was already late for him.
Arriving at the office, suddenly the mass media was already in front of his office building. The guard who knows Zen's arrival finally guides and protects Zen so he can go inside.
Zen then avoids the camera and tries to talk to someone.
"What's all this?" Zen asked some of the gathered employees.
"Last night someone saw Boss with women and then Boss with another woman," said Tino, his subordinate.
"Do they know the woman who took me?" Zen asked.
"No, Boss. They haven't been able to identify Miss Daisy yet." Zen breathed a sigh of relief. It was normal for him to be discussed with the ladies of the night. It happens often. But if the media knew about Daisy, Daisy would be furious. Zen himself did not want to publicize their relationship.
"Just say yes so they can leave immediately, I have a meeting, you take care of everything, Tino," Zen said then went to the meeting room.
After the meeting, Zen went to his room. There was already a woman dressed like an office and formally sitting in his guest chair. Zen was taken aback, but he soon got used to it.
Who else if not his ex-girlfriend, Kanya.
Kanya smiled at Zen. Zen then sat down in his chair. "What's wrong, Kanya?"
"Not a nice greeting, Zen. How are you?"
"No need for small talk. What do you need here?" Zen asked flatly.
"You didn't forget, did you make a money transfer for Vista, our son?"

The room became dark. He deliberately turned it off so that no light could enter. Even Zen's phone he turned it off. He had been frustrated since Kanya's arrival. How could he just walk in and charge something that could at least be said to be on a cell phone?
Something's going to happen, Zen thought.
Zen kept thinking about Daisy. What happens if she finds out that Zen has a child of his own accord? Not marrying the woman because she was the one who chose to leave Zen, but enough to demand Zen to send money for the sake of his child.
Not wanting to think about it, Zen ended up draining the cans of beer he had. Then he tried to call Dito from his apartment cell phone.
"I need you, Dit," Zen whispered then.
If it was like that, Dito immediately went to Zen's place. Then he immediately went into Zen's apartment and joined him. Only Dito, Zen can tell a lot.
"Kanya," Zen informed.
Dito shook his head. He knows Kanya quite well. And right now Zen needs input from Dito.
"Are you there, a stamped agreement letter that your secret of having children will not be exposed?" asked Dito to make sure.
Zen nodded.
Then Dito gave a gesture towards his temple. "Your brain is being used! Isn't that what you're afraid of? You won no matter what, there's a lawyer too. Just send her money so she doesn't bother you. I'm sure your secret is safe from Daisy."
Again Zen just nodded fully. Then he drank his last beer and then turned on the light switch. Now Zen is relieved. All thanks to Dito.

Today Zen will pick up Daisy at the campus after he dropped her off this morning. The time is free, so Zen intends to invite Daisy for the engagement dress fitting which will be held in two months.
Daisy got into the car expressionless. Zen himself did not get out of the car because he did not like the pairs of eyes that were looking at him.
"We're going to the boutique for fitting clothes," said Zen.
"What for?"
"Two months from our engagement."
Before Daisy could reply, Zen had spoken again. "Your family already knows. And tonight my family will come to your house to propose to you. Right, if you count from now, you will graduate in four months. So I want two more months to get engaged, then two months from our wedding."
Daisy gaped. She was just silent because Zen had thought things through carefully and sensibly. He could not argue because everything Zen said about his graduation was true.
"Fine, it's up to you," said Daisy later. Zen smiled. "It's good to see you do what I say."
"I have no choice, Zen. I feel like my life is in your hands."
"I guarantee everything, Daisy. As long as you stick with it."
"Hmm ... I have another request," said Daisy.
"What?"
"The way we talk... Can we just change 'me-you' to informal? Because 'me-you' feels too formal just like the Boss and his assistant."
