Boruto the Akatsuki: In search of power 27

In the previous chapter: The Chunin Exams had ended, and Boruto Uzumaki was declared the winner. However, at that moment, the Otsutsuki appeared. After several events, Naruto was taken away by them.

Boruto, who had seen his father taken away, disappeared in a flash and appeared near the hospital. He started jumping and running, and after several minutes, he reached the entrance, where Sakura was, who was coordinating the entry of the wounded to heal them.

Boruto approached her and spoke:

—Sakura-san.

Sakura turned around upon hearing her name, and seeing Boruto, she quickly approached:

—Boruto, are you hurt?

Boruto shook his head, and Sakura sighed in relief:

—Do you know where Sarada is? Sasuke told me that you knew where she was.

Boruto nodded. Sakura spoke again:

—Follow me, I'll take you inside to rest.

Boruto nodded silently and followed her into the hospital. After a few minutes, they came to a room where there were several stretchers. Boruto entered, and Sakura, from the entrance of the room, asked worriedly:

—Can you tell me where Sarada is? I want to know how she is.

Boruto turned to her and, without saying anything, made several hand signs and said:

—Hiraishin: Shuzoku Ido.

Suddenly, in front of him, four people appeared in a flash: one standing, who was a clone of Boruto, and three unconscious people: Hinata, Himawari, and Sarada. Sakura was shocked, but quickly recovered from her shock and ran to Sarada, lifting her up and placing her on a stretcher. She immediately called for more nurses, who picked up Hinata and Himawari, placing them on stretchers as well.

Sakura examined Sarada and was shocked to see that she was completely healed, just unconscious. She remembered that Boruto had the ability to heal quickly, and noticing that there was a clone of Boruto, she turned to him and said:

—Thank you, Boruto, for taking care of my daughter.

"It's nothing," Boruto replied.

Sakura quickly moved towards Hinata and Himawari, examining them and seeing that they were also unconscious, but without serious injuries. She looked back at Boruto and said:

—Boruto, you can rest here. Call me if anything happens. I'll be tending to the wounded.

Boruto nodded, and Sakura left the room. Boruto walked over to a stretcher, sat down, and looked at his clone.

Boruto's clone took out a scroll and handed it to Boruto. Boruto opened it and, after reading its contents, took out a brush to write something on it. After closing the scroll, it disappeared in a flash.

Far from Konoha, the rain fell incessantly over Amegakure. In a dark room, lit only by a dim lamp, Kuroshhi sat on a bed, his cloak and mask on. Moku, his faithful companion, was at his side. In front of them, on a table, rested the lamp, its light barely combating the gloom of the place.

Suddenly, a scroll appeared on the table in a flash. Kuroshhi quickly took it and opened it, reading its contents out loud so Moku could hear:

—"There's no need for you to show up, Kuroshhi. Your strength isn't enough, besides, I'm fine. So continue with the mission, but be prepared in case things go wrong. After this, we'll meet up to go to the first place and you'll report to me how things are there."

Moku spoke in his serious and calm tone:

—So everything is under control. Kuroshhi, we must continue with the mission.

Kuroshhi closed the scroll firmly and, with a sigh, replied:

—We are weak, Moku. We don't deserve to be at Boruto-sama's side... but we can only become stronger by doing what he orders us to do. It's time to move on.

Moku, showing a smile through his large mouth, activated his Sharingan. Both of them, synchronized in thought and action, disappeared in a spinning vortex of gray, leaving the room empty and silent, while the rain continued to fall relentlessly over Amegakure.

In Konoha, Boruto watched his clone after sending the scroll, and it disappeared in a puff of smoke. Boruto laid back on the stretcher and stared at the ceiling for a few minutes before closing his eyes. He felt tired, though he didn't understand why. Slowly, Boruto fell into a deep sleep.

Several hours passed and when he opened his eyes, he was still staring at the ceiling of the infirmary. He had a sheet covering him, and as he sat up he noticed that his sister Himawari was lying on the stretcher, with her head resting on his arm. Boruto looked at her for a moment and said:

—Himawari, wake up.

Himawari slowly raised her head, rubbing her eyes with her small hands. When she opened them fully and saw her brother, she hugged him tightly.

—Little brother! —he exclaimed.

Boruto held her gently and hugged her back. Himawari, her voice still somewhat sleepy, said:

—Mom went to look for Dad... but she was angry with you.

Boruto let go of her and sat her down on the chair next to the stretcher. With a more serious expression, he replied:

—So Mom is angry?

Himawari lowered her head and nodded slowly.

—She's angry because you didn't let her go find Dad.

Boruto sighed and calmly explained:

—If I had let Mom go look for Dad, she probably would have gotten hurt or, at worst, died.

Himawari was startled by her brother's words, but Boruto continued:

—Mom no longer has the same strength as when she was young. Her power has diminished. That's why I left her in the forest, outside of Konoha.

Himawari didn't say anything, she just lowered her head. Boruto pulled the sheet aside, stood up from the stretcher and stretched his body, ready to leave the place. But Himawari hugged him again, with a pleading tone in her voice.

—Dad is gone... Someone took him. Little brother, you can bring him back, right? I know you can do it. Please do it for me.

Boruto crouched down to Himawari's height, gently stroked her head and said:

—I'll do what I can, Himawari. Just wait for news.

Then he stood up again and looked at a stretcher where Sarada was still sleeping. In a firm voice, he added:

—I want you to go to Sarada and take care of her while she's unconscious. When she wakes up, tell her I sent you to be with her until Mom comes back, understand?

Himawari nodded excitedly, feeling comforted by her brother's words, knowing that Boruto would go find their father. With a smile on her face, she walked over to Sarada and sat down next to her. Boruto, satisfied, said goodbye to his sister and disappeared in a flash.

He appeared above the Kages' faces, already at night. Boruto shoved his hands into his pockets and then looked up at the sky, observing the full moon shining over Konoha. He looked down at Konoha again, closing his eyes for a moment, and entered his mindspace.

—Karasugan, are you there? —Boruto said in the darkness of his mind.

At that instant, a voice resounded, and a giant crow with three eyes appeared in Boruto's mental space.

—Boruto, it's been a while.

Boruto turned around, looking at the crow with a confident smile.

—I hope you're ready. We're going into battle.

Karasugan, moving his beak as if forming a smile, replied:

-Whenever you want.

Boruto snapped out of his mental space, opened his eyes again, and looked down at Konoha from above once more. Without wasting any time, he disappeared in a flash, appearing in another place: the huge crater where the stadium once stood.

Boruto looked at the crater carefully, then looked up at the Hokage building that stood in the center of Konoha. He sensed the chakra of several people, including his mother, inside the Hokage building. He thought to himself:

"I don't feel the Kages' chakra, nor Sasuke's... They must have gone looking for father."

He brought his right hand to his eye and covered it, activating his Doujutsu. In that instant, his vision passed through the buildings, houses, and streets, advancing towards the Hokage building. There, he reached the terrace where his mother was standing, looking at a fixed point on the terrace. Boruto focused his sight in the same direction and noticed something.

"It seems the Kages and Sasuke have already left. I can see an almost transparent portal... a sign that they opened a space-time rift at that location."

Boruto withdrew his vision and returned his attention to the place where the Otsutsuki had disappeared and noticed the same signs of distortion. Still with his right eye covered, he closed the eye without deactivating his Doujutsu. He removed his hand and with a quick seal of his hand, he pulled out a scroll in a puff of smoke. Opening it and hitting the seals on the scroll, four clones appeared behind him, each with seal marks on their body. Boruto glanced at them out of the corner of his eye with his left eye, then turned his gaze to the place where the Otsutsuki had disappeared.

He calmly put his hands together and formed a sign, and with his right eye still closed, a portal began to form in front of him. Unlike conventional portals, this one looked like a crack in space, as if the glass of the world had shattered. Boruto felt his chakra almost completely drain away,

He quickly made several signs and absorbed the chakra of his clones, who disappeared in a puff of smoke. With his energy renewed, Boruto stepped forward and stepped through the portal, which immediately closed behind him.

Elsewhere, Boruto appeared in the air, falling rapidly. Without wasting any time, he formed more seals and shouted:

—Kuchiyose no Jutsu!

With a punch in the air, several seals appeared and then, a cloud of smoke appeared, revealing Karasugan, the enormous three-eyed raven. Boruto landed on its head and ordered:

—Take flight, Karasugan!

The crow obeyed, flapping its massive wings as it rapidly ascended into the sky. Boruto, still recovering, sat down with his legs crossed on the crow's head, sighing as he looked in one direction. Now, flying high above.

Karasugan spoke in his deep voice:

—What do we do now, Boruto?

"I want you to stay as high as possible," Boruto replied. "Hide among the clouds. You can sense chakra, right?"

Karasugan nodded, and Boruto continued:

—We will watch the fight from above. And I also want you to prepare your strongest attack.

"I understand," Karasugan replied. "We'll go to that place first, and when we're upon them, I'll prepare the attack."

Karasugan rose above the clouds, camouflaging itself in their thickness, as it flew at full speed towards the direction where it sensed the chakras. Boruto, with his Doujutsu still activated, looked up at the sky, observing the stars, while the wind made his jacket and hair flutter. Then, he looked down at the clouds below him, sending his vision beyond the clouds, inspecting the place they are in. As he did so, he was shocked.

Everything he saw was a deep red color. The clouds, dense and impenetrable, dyed the landscape in that dark hue. The trees, gigantic and leafless, stood on an empty and arid ground, without a trace of vegetation. It was a desolate landscape, a complete desert. Boruto returned his vision and thought to himself: So this is what happens when the Divine Tree is planted... How troublesome.

Karasugan interrupted his thoughts:

—Boruto, we're almost there.

Boruto nodded. He performed a seal with his hands and, immediately, both his chakra and that of Karasugan disappeared, becoming invisible to anyone trying to locate them.

Afterwards, Boruto took off his jacket and shirt, both of which had a hole in the shoulder. He pulled a scroll out of his pocket, opened it, and in a puff of smoke, a new shirt and jacket appeared. He put them on precisely, adjusting his gloves and the cuffs of the jacket, making sure everything was in place.

After some time in flight, Boruto sent his vision downwards, piercing through the dense clouds that hid the landscape. As his gaze descended, he came across the imposing figure of the Divine Tree, whose gigantic roots protruded from the ground, dominating the terrain.

But Boruto smiled as he saw something and said to himself:

—But who are these guys?

However, he did not give it much importance.

Boruto looked even deeper, scanning every corner around him until he reached the roots of the tree. There, he saw two fights in progress.

In the first match, Sasuke, Chojuro, and Kurotsuchi faced Kinshhiki. Kinshhiki clashed his energy axe against Sasuke's sword, causing a metallic sound to echo throughout the venue. With a powerful punch, Kinshhiki sent Sasuke flying, crashing into one of the tree roots.

Kinshhiki lunged at Sasuke, but when he was close, he dodged a water slash that Chojuro launched, cutting a root in his path. Kinshhiki looked at him with disdain and said:

—You'll regret getting involved, insect.

Accelerating his speed, Kinshhiki attacked Chojuro. The two engaged in a frenzied fight, but Kinshhiki was much faster. Finally, Chojuro received a cut on his torso and Kinshhiki raised his axe, ready to deliver the final blow.

"You're not protecting your torso," Kinshhiki said with a sly smile.

Chojuro, from the ground, confidently replied:

—You neither.

Suddenly, Kurotsuchi appeared behind Kinshhiki, throwing a punch to his stomach that sent him flying, destroying several roots. Kinshhiki shouted, furious:

-Insolent!

But right behind him, Sasuke materialized, wielding his lightning-covered sword. He struck him with a blow that sent him crashing back to the ground. Kinshiki quickly got up, but was hit by another attack from Chojuro, who split his sword in two and unleashed his technique:

—Chigiritouhou : Honenuki !

Kinshhiki was pierced by multiple blue needles that stuck into him, paralyzing him.

Sasuke shouted:

—Tsuchikage!

Kurotsuchi firmly replied:

—I'll take care of it.

— Youton : Kaisekifuu no Jutsu! —he declared, spitting out cold, black lava. The lava enveloped Kinshhiki, sealing him, leaving only his head visible. Kinshhiki struggled with all his might to free himself, but he couldn't.

Kurotsuchi looked at Sasuke, who was standing on a nearby root, and said firmly:

—Leave it to me, you take care of the other one.

Sasuke nodded and quickly disappeared from the place.

In another area of the battlefield, Darui was running with his zanbato in hand, facing Momoshiki at high speed. Every attack Darui threw was accurately blocked by a black bar that Momoshiki held, both moving agilely between the huge roots of the tree. In the middle of the fight, Naruto appeared jumping between the roots, approaching with the intention of fighting. However, just before making a hand seal, he remembered that Momoshiki could absorb jutsus, which made him stop and think:

—How troublesome...

As Momoshiki leapt between the roots, Sasuke fell from above, landing on his enemy's back. They both rolled at high speed, hitting one of the roots until they finally managed to stabilize themselves and looked at each other in defiance.

However, Momoshiki soon realized that he was surrounded. Naruto, Gaara, and Darui flanked him, each standing on a root, ready to attack. Sasuke was the first to speak, watching Momoshiki intently:

—Your technique is simple... you absorb jutsus and then expel them with more power. But your "bullets" are limited.

Fury flashed in Momoshiki's eyes as he gritted his teeth at Sasuke's words. Sasuke continued, unfazed:

—You're like those scientific tools that Konoha developed.

Gaara, arms crossed, added in his calm but commanding tone:

—The solution is simple...

Darui, resting his zanbato on his shoulder, completed Gaara's idea with a smile:

—...we will defeat you with pure strength, without using techniques. You are a nuisance.

Momoshiki, now surrounded, glared at the four shinobi facing him. His gaze briefly shifted to another point on the battlefield, where he could see his comrade, Kinshiki, trapped and sealed in the distance. Unease gripped him, and he gritted his teeth in fury.

Sasuke, taking advantage of the situation, added in a confident tone:

—You see how your partner is... give up.

Momoshiki looked away from Kinshiki and looked at Sasuke, then Naruto, and finally back at his trapped companion. After a pause, he raised his hand in Kinshiki's direction, a serious expression forming on his face.

"I will show you the true ways of my clan," he said in a deep and determined voice.

On the battlefield, the barrier trapping Kinshhiki suddenly broke, and he flew towards Momoshhiki at incredible speed. Kurotsuchi, shocked, watched as Kinshhiki advanced through the air, a resolute expression on his face. As he flew, he shouted fervently:

—Momoshiki-sama, the time has come for you to devour my chakra! Just as my father figure gave me his power, now it is your turn. Don't hold back!

Momoshiki's smile widened at those words.

—I wasn't planning on doing that, Kinshhiki.

With a scream of agony, Kinshhiki began to change color, turning from his natural shade to a deep red. His body began to distort until it became a bright crimson chakra fruit that fell into Momoshhiki's hands with a confident look, squeezing the chakra fruit before beginning to devour it completely. Those present, from Sasuke to Naruto, Darui and Gaara, looked at the scene in amazement.

"This is bad," Sasuke thought, realizing the gravity of what was about to happen.

Without wasting any time, Sasuke lunged at Momoshiki, attempting to strike with his sword, aiming straight for his neck from behind. However, when the blade of his sword touched Momoshiki, it simply didn't cut.

Momoshiki didn't even flinch, grinning maliciously as Sasuke's sword bounced off harmlessly.

"It's useless..." Momoshiki muttered with a confident look, as he finished swallowing the last bite of the fruit.

A powerful blast of energy exploded around him. A cloud of smoke rose up, expelling energy in all directions. Sasuke leapt towards one of the roots of the great tree, while, from the center of the cloud of white smoke, a figure emerged. Momoshiki's appearance had changed radically. His hair was loose, his clothes were different, and he had markings all over his body. A yellow Rinnegan glowed on his forehead, and his eyes had also taken on the same hue. New horns protruded from his head.

"Now you will see the true power of an Otsutsuki," Momoshiki declared, as the battlefield was stained with his overwhelming presence.

Naruto, eyes wide in shock, spoke, "You ate your own partner?"

Sasuke narrowed his eyes, his voice filled with contempt: "You are despicable."

Momoshhiki smiled maliciously as he replied, "Kinshhiki offered me his power of his own free will. The transmission of power is a code of our clan."

Clenching his fists, his smile widened.

Momoshiki began to rise slowly and, in a cold voice, added: "The games are over."

He spread his arms in a divine gesture and said, "Let's end this. Ignorant people who oppose the gods…"

The Rinnegan on his forehead turned a deep red, while the Rinnegan on his palms also turned the same color. He extended his arms out in front of him and shouted, unleashing a powerful shockwave that cut through the God Tree. The Kages had to protect themselves from the immense force. Sasuke was propelled through the air, bouncing between the roots of the tree until he stuck his sword into one of them to stop his advance. Naruto violently crashed into the roots, while the others tried to hold on as best they could.

Momoshiki launched himself at Darui, delivering a powerful kick that sent him crashing into the tree trunk. He then charged at Gaara, who threw his sand to catch him. The chase was quick, but eventually the sand managed to stop Momoshiki in front of Gaara. However, when it seemed that the Kazekage was going to strike, Momoshiki used his hair to catch Gaara and, with a devastating punch to the stomach, knocked the wind out of him, falling to the ground from above.

Meanwhile, the God Tree continued to fall with a crash.

—Kazekage! —Chojauro shouted, but it was too late. Momoshiki appeared behind him, giving him a brutal kick from behind that sent him flying into some roots, leaving him embedded in them.

Kurotsuchi threw a punch straight at Momoshiki, who dodged it with ease. Momoshiki then countered with a punch that Kurotsuchi barely managed to avoid. Momoshiki smiled and, with a precise elbow, threw her to the ground, knocking her unconscious.

After defeating the Kages, Momoshiki looked sideways and spoke with a mischievous smile: "It's your turn, fox."

From one of the branches, Sasuke ran towards Naruto, who was embedded in one of the roots of the battlefield. Naruto, after recovering, barely had time to react before Momoshiki appeared in front of him, launching him into the air with a powerful blow. From there, both began a Taijutsu fight at full speed, where Momoshiki attacked Naruto's pressure points, making him retreat and spit blood.

Momoshiki grabbed Naruto by the head, but at that moment, Sasuke appeared with his sword in hand. Momoshiki quickly spun, blocking Sasuke's arm and catching him by the head as well. Without letting go of either of them, he rose up and violently slammed them both into the ground, dragging them across the battlefield. Then, he spun them around several times and threw them into some rocks, creating a huge roar.

—BOOM!

Momoshiki stopped and watched them calmly, but both Naruto and Sasuke stood up, albeit with some effort. Still, they both acted as if nothing had happened. Naruto began to walk towards him, and Sasuke did the same, which piqued Momoshiki's curiosity.

Naruto spoke, with a serious look: "I see, you are not the same as before. Now you are more than just an Otsutsuki, you are a monster."

Momoshiki smiled and replied, "Just like you."

Sasuke threw off his cloak and, at an astonishing speed, both of them ran towards Momoshiki. The impact of their attacks was brutal: Naruto, with yellow chakra enveloping his fist, and Sasuke, with lightning crackling in his hand and katana, collided with Momoshiki. The clash was so strong that the earth cracked and a violent wind swept across the battlefield.

Momoshiki, while holding both of their fists, smiled in satisfaction and said, "This is getting interesting."

Naruto activated his Kyubi Chakra mode and, with a smile full of determination, replied: —Sasuke, let's show what we are capable of.

Sasuke activated his Mangekyo Sharingan to the maximum and, smiling, answered: —Yes.

At that moment, the fight began at breakneck speed. The only thing visible were flashes of lightning and a yellow glow as Naruto and Sasuke attacked relentlessly, throwing punches and kicks. Momoshiki tried to counter the blows, but was hit by a punch that made him furious. Before he could react, a kick sent him flying, although he managed to stabilize himself in the air and landed on his feet.

With his energy, Momoshhiki created a red and white spear, and, in fury, he shouted: "Wretches!"

The fight resumed at full speed. Explosions echoed in the air and clouds of dust rose all over the place. Everything happened with overwhelming speed, until a blow sent Momoshiki flying towards the top of the severed trunk of the God Tree, taking the battle to that new height.

Momoshiki steadied himself and landed on his feet on top of the trunk, but Naruto and Sasuke arrived at that exact moment. Sasuke pulled out a scroll, opened it, and struck the seal, revealing a huge shuriken.

—Come on, Naruto! —Sasuke shouted.

Naruto nodded, quickly making a hand seal. Momoshiki prepared for the attack. Sasuke threw the large shuriken, and with Naruto's seal, the shuriken multiplied in the air. Sasuke then imbued them with lightning, giving them even more power. The shuriken sped past Momoshiki and soared above him, but were suddenly pulled back towards him by a ninja cable controlled by Sasuke.

Momoshiki began to run, dodging the shuriken, but several managed to catch up with him, slicing his body. Realizing this, he became enraged and, using the power of his Rinnegan, released a smaller shockwave, expelling the shuriken around him.

Just as he smirked, another shuriken appeared from the ground, shooting towards him. He dodged it, but as it soared above his head, the shuriken transformed into Naruto, who was holding a Rasengan Shuriken in his hand, heading straight towards him.

Naruto launched his Rasengan Shuriken towards Momoshhiki, but when he was close to him, he transformed back into Sasuke. Momoshhiki smiled and created a red and white energy chain which he launched towards Sasuke. However, Sasuke, using his Rinnegan, managed to switch positions with Momoshhiki. Now, Momoshhiki was caught in the chain.

Wasting no time, Naruto seized the opportunity and delivered a powerful punch to Momoshiki, slamming him into the ground with a thunderous BOOM!

Momoshiki was sent flying off the trunk due to the powerful attack, still bound by his own chain. Sasuke, again using his Rinnegan, pointed his hand at Momoshiki who was in the air and shouted:

Chibaku Tensei !

The earth began to rise, along with the rocks, hitting Momoshiki and beginning to seal him in the center. As the earth and rocks covered him, a huge sphere of earth was formed.

Sasuke lowered his hand and looked at the sphere of earth he had created, but it began to crack. Naruto and Sasuke were shocked to hear a voice filled with fury from within:

Iruna Takero no Mikoto !

Suddenly, the head of a dark white canine appeared, which destroyed the Chibaku Tensei and charged at Naruto and Sasuke.

Naruto widened his fist, preparing for impact, while Sasuke channeled lightning chakra into his katana. Naruto forcefully stopped the attack, while Sasuke took charge of destroying the threat. From the center of the Chibaku Tensei Momoshhiki emerged, furious, heading towards Naruto and Sasuke.

Momoshiki, full of fury, reached the trunk and hit the surface with his hand. From this blow, canine heads appeared and attacked Naruto and Sasuke.

Sasuke quickly pushed Naruto away with a kick, moving him out of the way. He filled his sword with lightning and began to dodge and slash the oversized canine heads. However, the last head bit him completely, knocking him off his perch and dragging him around, causing him to crash to the ground with a loud BOOM!

Naruto steadied himself and ran towards Sasuke, while Momoshiki stopped to connect with the canine head. With his hand, he hit the creature's neck, causing it to heat up and being able to see how the magma ran down it, threatening Sasuke. At that moment, Naruto arrived and pulled him out of the bite of the canine head just in time. The magma reached the canine head, causing an explosion BOOM! The head was destroyed, raising a cloud of dust.

From that cloud, Kurama emerged completely spread out in nine dust, inside the chakra body, Naruto had Sasuke next to him and spoke asking:

—Are you okay, Sasuke?

Sasuke replied with a smile:

-No problem.

Momoshiki began to float and gather rocks, forming a giant of rock and magma. Steam came out from the giant's body, as he said in a deep voice:

—There you are, demon fox. Your power will be mine.

Naruto, hearing Momoshiki's words, shouted:

—You won't!

As he sent Kurama's fist flying, the giant of rock and magma stopped the punch, creating a shockwave with a loud BOMM! The giant grabbed Kurama's hand and pulled him hard. With his other hand, he threw a punch, slamming it into Kurama's face. Then, he grabbed him by the neck and jumped, slamming him into the ground with a deafening boom: BOOM!

Naruto, who was inside Kurama's chakra body, complained. Sasuke, noticing his discomfort, grabbed his shoulder and said:

—I will lend you the power of Susanoo.

Naruto, glancing at him, turned his gaze towards the lava giant and smiled:

-Perfect.

Kurama's body filled with purple armor. With a powerful punch, he destroyed the magma giant's hand. He stood up and, with his right hand, created a purple katana. Then, with both hands, he held the katana while the magma giant attacked with its only arm. From within the giant, Momoshiki shouted:

—Die, inferior beings!

Naruto and Sasuke, full of determination, dodged the attack by crouching. With a precise movement, they slashed at the giant of magma and rock, causing a deafening roar: BOOM! The slash raised dirt and dust, and lightning fell from the sky. The lava giant began to fade away, while Kurama with the Susanoo armor disappeared. Naruto and Sasuke fell to the ground on their feet, scattering dust around them, revealing the battlefield.

At that moment, Darui appeared from one side, who was helped by Gaara. Darui spoke:

—Are you done with the Hokage?

Naruto turned to look at them and then looked back to where they had fought, answering:

—No, not yet.

From another place, Kurotsuchi and Chojuro came bounding in. Kurotsuchi, clenching his fist with his palm, said:

—This guy is tough. Let's finish him off with some awesome technique!

Chojuro, who was standing next to her, glanced at her with an amused smile and commented:

—You shouldn't be reckless.

Gaara, looking at Momoshiki, warned:

—If he absorbs more chakra, we won't achieve anything.

Kurotsuchi raised her hands and replied:

—Yes, yes.

Naruto smiled and said:

—I see everyone is fine. That's good.

While all this was happening on earth, in the sky, Karasugan spoke:

—Looks like they already won.

In front of his beak, he held a sphere charged with hot energy, from which steam was coming out. Boruto, observing the scene, replied:

—It seems so... but let's wait until the end.

Karasugan, with a slight surprise in his voice, commented:

—I didn't expect there to be humans strong enough to do this.

Boruto just smiled. Karasugan continued:

—The attack you asked me to prepare is ready, but it's slow. It doesn't have enough strength to finish him off.

Boruto looked at the sphere in front of Karasugan's peak and said:

—Don't worry. I have an idea, but we'll use it only if they don't manage to land the final blow.

At this moment, outside the Divine Tree, a noise was heard. Two people appeared on the edge of the crater.

Boruto watched them and muttered:

—They're finally moving. I feel like I've seen those people before, but I don't remember...

Naruto, Sasuke, and the Kages all turned to look at the figures, as did Momoshiki. One of them was wearing a chunin uniform and a Konoha sash: it was Katasuke, accompanied by a cameraman.

Katasuke, with obvious emotion, spoke:

—Well, we're on time!

He jumped into the crater where the Divine Tree was located, landing on the ground. Naruto, seeing him, spoke urgently:

—That guy! What is he doing here, Katasuke?

Darui, frowning, commented:

—So they followed us secretly... this is a problem.

The cameraman also jumped, but as he fell he bounced several times on the cliff, hitting the rocks and damaging some of his camera and equipment. Despite the stumbles, he managed to reach Katasuke's side, panting and trying to adjust what was left of his camera.

Katasuke, with pride and determination, raised his arm towards Momoshiki and ordered the cameraman: —Record well! Don't miss a single second of how I use my ninja tools.

He made several hand seals, activating the device on his wrist. Instantly, multiple ninja techniques, including fire, shadows, and lightning, shot out in the direction of Momoshiki, who was floating in the air face up, seemingly vulnerable to the final blow.

"Don't do it!" Naruto shouted, desperate at seeing what Katasuke was planning. But it was too late; the techniques were released.

The powerful techniques collided with Momoshiki, creating a massive explosion that lit up the sky. However, to everyone's surprise, the explosion abruptly stopped. The explosion was absorbed by Momoshiki who had a cruel smile on his face.

Boruto, watching from above, let out a bead of anime-style sweat in disbelief at what was happening. "What the...?" he muttered, not believing what he was seeing.

Katasuke, meanwhile, put his hands on his head in panic. "He absorbed it!" he shouted, looking at the cameraman, trembling as he pointed at Momoshiki. The cameraman nodded, and the bed completely collapsed. Falling silent.

Momoshiki, after absorbing the techniques, let hot steam rise from his body as he laughed evilly, keeping his eyes closed. "I understand… this is similar to our tan ," he said with a malicious smile.

He opened his eyes with a menacing gleam and looked straight at the Kages. "But I appreciate it, you fools." Momoshiki raised his left hand, pointing at them with his Rinnegan, which began to glow red.

In an instant, the techniques he had previously absorbed burst forth from his Rinnegan, re-powered and charged with devastating power. Explosions echoed like thunder in the sky:

—BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! —The techniques impacted directly against the area where the Kages were, destroying a large part of the crater and the Divine Tree.

Katasuke and his cameraman were thrown into the air by the powerful shockwave. Meanwhile, Gaara reacted quickly, raising a barrier of sand in the shape of a female statue that enveloped the Kages, protecting them from the devastation.

Momoshhiki laughed uncontrollably. "HAHAHAHA! DIE, YOU INFERIOR BEINGS!" he shouted with contempt, enjoying the chaos.

After a while, the explosions ceased, and Gaara lowered the sand barrier, allowing the dust to disperse. However, Momoshiki wasted no time. With his Rinnegan in his left hand, he activated a technique that he absorbed, and suddenly, everyone, including Naruto, Sasuke, and the other Kages, stood still, trapped in a round shadow beneath their feet.

Naruto looked down in surprise. "It's… Shikamaru's Kageshibari technique!" he exclaimed in disbelief.

Darui, holding his zanbato, cursed as he tried to move. "Damn! It's… the Nara's technique!"

Momoshiki wasted no time and with cold precision, he raised his right hand, throwing several black rods towards the Kages. The rods embedded themselves deep into their bodies, completely paralyzing them and pushing them back with force.

"I won't make the same mistake again," Momoshiki said with a sadistic smile on his face. His gaze focused on Naruto, full of malice. "But you, fox…" he continued while laughing in a dark tone, "I will make you suffer more than everyone else… HAHAHAHA!"

Naruto, immobilized by the black rods, felt the weight of pain and despair, but he still maintained his indomitable spirit, his chakra trying to resist.

From above, above the clouds, Boruto calmly observed the scene, his Doujutsu activated, with an ability similar to the Byakugan, allowing him to see everything that was happening below in the distance, he spoke to his partner

—Karasugan, get ready —Boruto said with a smile full of cunning and excitement—, it's our turn to take action.

Karasugan, who was flapping his wings to stay in the air without moving, nodded vigorously, his tone amused and excited. "HAHAHA, finally! I've been waiting for this moment!"

Boruto laughed alongside him. "That's right…" he said confidently. "Now it's our turn!"

Karasugan, with a hint of amusement in his tone, looked at the golden and red sphere floating in front of him. "So, how will we attack?" he asked, looking at the condensed energy with curiosity.

Boruto fixed his gaze on the sphere, activating his Doujutsu. As he raised his arm, palm extended, small beams began to shoot out from his eye and through his arm, striking the sphere of power. The beams, initially bluish-white, began to merge with the sphere, changing color to a yellow with red hues as they vibrated erratically through the mass of magma. The heat was so intense that steam was coming out of the sphere, which was now as large as Karasugan's peak.

Karasugan observed the change and commented excitedly, "So this is your plan, huh? It doesn't look bad at all."

Boruto, who was standing on the crow's head, began to walk slowly, leaving Karasugan's head behind. With each step he took in the air, the space beneath his feet cracked slightly, as if reality itself was breaking. "You will attack first," Boruto said firmly, "and then my attack will come. Prepare yourself."

The glow in his eyes was as intense as the power contained in those words.

Karasugan looked at him in surprise, letting out a light laugh. "I see… Your eye power isn't bad at all. So, that's the attack you're going to do?"

Boruto glanced at him, his expression one of disbelief . "I can only do it once. If I fail, I'll have to go with plan B. I need you to help me… I don't think I'll be able to stay in the air much longer once I launch the attack."

Karasugan nodded in understanding, adjusting himself in midair as he positioned himself to aim properly. The sphere of magma and power contained in front of his beak also positioned itself, aiming directly at Momoshiki, who was still focused on the Kages below.

"Can you give it to him?" Boruto asked, looking at him out of the corner of his eye with a smile.

Karasugan, with his amused tone, replied confidently, "I can see his energy… or as you call it, his chakra. So don't worry, I have it under control."

Boruto nodded, clasping his hands together to form a sign as he felt the pressure of the moment mount. He stared at the ground, his remote vision focused on Momoshiki, analyzing every move. "Once we launch the attack, the barrier hiding our chakra will vanish. Prepare the next move immediately."

Karasugan nodded again, focused and ready, as the steam and lightning surrounding the sphere increased in intensity. Boruto, his gaze fixed on his target, breathed deeply.

Boruto looked at Momoshhiki and shouted:

—Now, attack!

The sphere of energy, propelled by the Karasugan, launched itself at full speed, enveloped in flashes of orange and red lightning, heading towards Momoshiki. The latter, with an expression of amusement, looked up reflexively, but it was too late. The impact hit him full force, causing a deafening explosion.

—BOOM!

The shocked Kages took cover as best they could as the scorching heat turned everything around them to ashes. From the sky, Boruto shouted:

—Ryumetsu no Kiri! (Space Dragon Slash).

With his eye shining brightly, Boruto undid the hand seal and made a movement with his right hand, as if cutting through the air. At the epicenter of the explosion, the energy was expanding, but it was split in two, completely cutting through the trunk of the Divine Tree. The entire crater was split, and a new rumble shook the earth.

—BOOM!

The impact lifted the earth, while lightning bolts fell from the sky in the midst of chaos. Boruto, exhausted, was about to fall into the void, but Karasugan gently caught him with its wing, placing him on its back.

"You did it, Boruto. You defeated him," Karasugan said calmly.

Boruto, barely conscious, looked up at the stars as his Doujutsu deactivated. Suffocated by exhaustion, he replied:

—No… I couldn't finish him off… he managed to dodge it, but he suffered a fatal wound.

While all this was happening on Earth, chaos reigned. The magma generated by the energy sphere had spread everywhere, covering the battlefield with immense heat. However, little by little, that heat began to diminish.

The Kages watched in shock, not knowing how to react to what they saw. Everything had changed in a matter of seconds. Naruto, perplexed, broke the silence:

—What is this? Where did that attack come from?

In the sky, Boruto stood on Karasugan's back and, with his gaze fixed on one point, spoke:

—Karasugan, I want you to stay in the air. I'll go down to the ground. Plan A didn't work, we need to move on to plan B.

Karasugan nodded, though with some concern in his tone.

—But your chakra is almost depleted...

Boruto replied with determination as he prepared to act.

"That's precisely why it's necessary," he said, before walking to the edge of the giant crow's back. Without hesitation, he leapt into the void, passing through the clouds as he rapidly descended towards the battlefield.

Boruto, as he descended, wore a smile on his face. He pulled out several three-pronged kunai from his ninja bag and threw them towards where the Kages were.

The Kages, who were on the ground observing the site of the explosion, saw how suddenly the kunai fell from the sky, sticking into the ground around them.

Kurotsuchi looked at them in confusion and said, "What is this? Where did these kunai come from?"

The other Kages looked up, searching for something in the sky, but saw nothing.

Sasuke and Naruto, looking at the kunai, immediately recognized what they meant. The same name came to mind , and Naruto, with a mixture of surprise and urgency, exclaimed almost shouting:

—Boruto!

At that instant, Boruto appeared in a flash in front of everyone, turning his back to them with a slight smile. As he recomposed himself, Naruto, surprised, looked at him.

—Boruto, what are you doing here? —Naruto asked, worried.

Boruto glanced at him before turning his gaze towards the site of the explosion, his expression relaxed as he spoke.

—I came because Himawari sent me, but well... — he laughed softly — What does it matter?

Sasuke looked at him seriously and asked:

—Boruto, were you the one who launched that attack?

Boruto looked at him again, not directly answering the question. Instead, he said:

—Momoshhiki is still alive, I can feel his chakra.

The Kages exchanged confused glances. Kurotsuchi, frowning, spoke disdainfully:

—What are you saying, brat?

Without turning around, Boruto replied:

—I need to create a devastating attack.

The Kages looked at each other, not quite understanding what Boruto was planning. In his mind, Boruto was thinking: I don't have enough chakra left to keep fighting... It seems the time has come.

With that determination in mind, Boruto snapped out of his thoughts, crouched down, and began looking inside his ninja sandals. After a moment, he pulled something out of them: a pair of weights. Without saying a word, he threw them to the ground, causing a loud crash.

—BOOM!

Naruto and Sasuke were shocked as Boruto threw the weights to the ground, and the Kages, like them, widened their eyes in amazement. Boruto then made a seal with his hands and said firmly:

-Release!

On his body, glowing seals began to appear, running all over his skin, emitting a glow before fading away. Sasuke watched closely and exclaimed:

—Those are gravity seals...

Boruto smiled and, without wasting any time, replied:

"That's right." With a fluid gesture, Boruto turned to face his father, reaching out his hand towards him. A Rasengan appeared in his palm, spinning vigorously. Boruto watched them for a few seconds before adding, "It's time for you to help me with something."

Naruto, still processing what had just happened, spoke with determination:

—What do you want me to do?

Boruto looked at him seriously and replied:

—I don't have enough chakra to create a massive attack. I've heard that the Rasengan can be enhanced, so I need your chakra, father. But… —Boruto looked at the black bars embedded in Naruto's body, just like in the other Kages'—, you only have one free hand. You two won't be able to fight or move anymore.

Naruto was about to speak, but paused, pondering for a moment. Finally, he nodded and said:

—I understand. I'll help you. Come closer, I'll give you my chakra for your Rasengan.

Wasting no time, Boruto complied and approached. Naruto placed his hand beneath Boruto's, where the Rasengan spun, small but full of potential. With Naruto's chakra flowing into it, the Rasengan slowly began to grow, taking on a yellow hue at its center and blue at the edges. After a while, the Rasengan transformed into an Odama Rasengan, sending out gusts of wind around it.

Both Boruto and Naruto held the massive Rasengan, their hands raised as the power of the attack resonated through the air. Naruto pulled his hand back, leaving the full weight of the Rasengan in Boruto's hands. Boruto, feeling the enormous pressure of the jutsu, smiled and muttered:

-Not bad.

Where the explosion had occurred, the curtain of smoke and steam finally dissipated, revealing the trunk of the Divine Tree almost completely destroyed, with a deep cut in the middle. Suddenly, a voice filled with fury resounded from the trunk:

—SO IT WAS YOU, YOU INFERIOR BEING! HOW DARE YOU?! I WILL KILL YOU AND MAKE YOU SUFFER!

The Kages turned to look, with disbelieving eyes, at Momoshiki, who emerged from the ruins. His body was covered in visible wounds, he was missing an arm and had burns all over his body.

Boruto, still holding the Rasengan, raised his arm and flicked his wrist, causing the Rasengan to instantly disappear under his arm. Without losing his cool, he began walking towards Momoshiki. As he did so, he cast a sidelong glance at the Kages, Naruto and Sasuke, and spoke coldly:

—You must go. Your work is done, now you are just a nuisance.

The Kages looked at him with suppressed rage, but before they could respond, Boruto performed a series of hand seals and said with determination:

Hiraishin: Shuzoku Ido .

Naruto tried to say something, but in a flash, everyone present disappeared, leaving Boruto alone facing Momoshhiki.

On a terrace in Konoha, Hinata watched the place where the Kages had left with Sasuke through the portal, anxiously awaiting the appearance of her husband. The sun was beginning to rise, illuminating the sky, when suddenly, a flash appeared in front of her. The Kages, Naruto and Sasuke materialized in the place.

Hinata was shocked and ran towards them. The nearby shinobi, noticing their arrival, quickly rushed to help the Kages, who had black rods embedded in their bodies.

Shikamaru came over worriedly and asked:

—What happened? Are you okay?

Naruto, clearly tired, replied:

—We couldn't defeat Momoshiki... but someone stayed there to fight. We can only wait.

The people present looked at each other, alarmed by the news. Shikamaru, frowning, looked at the Kages and then at Naruto, and asked:

—Who stayed to fight Momoshiki?

Sasuke, weakened and with his only arm trying to remove the black bars without success, answered seriously:

—Boruto... Boruto stayed to fight against a wounded Momoshhiki.

The tension in the air intensified as the shinobi and Kages exchanged worried glances. Hinata, upon hearing Sasuke's words, covered her mouth with both hands and exclaimed, almost shouting:

—Boruto!

Naruto remained silent, his face reflecting a mixture of concern and resignation.

Sasuke, with effort, spoke:

—Boruto sent us here with his Hiraishin... he took us off the battlefield. We need to recover quickly and get back to fighting. Help me get rid of these black bars.

The shinobi complied, but noticed that the bars seemed to adhere to their bodies with a supernatural force, making the removal process difficult.

Shikamaru, who was kneeling next to Naruto, stood up and looked at the shinobi with determination:

—Prepare for combat. We cannot let our guard down, the enemy will come soon.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Momoshhiki glared at Boruto angrily and shouted:

—You inferior bastard! How dare you?

Boruto smiled confidently and replied:

—Being inferior? Hahaha, you're about to die at the hands of one, Momoshhiki.

With his single left arm, Momoshiki launched several black rods towards Boruto. However, Boruto, displaying surprising speed, ran towards him, deflected the rods with a kunai, and the sound of metal echoed through the air. Taking advantage of his momentum, Boruto increased his speed, appearing in front of Momoshiki. In the air, he spun several times before launching a kick. Momoshiki blocked the attack with his arm, but was pushed back by the force of the impact.

Boruto looked at him amused and thought to himself:

"I feel so light... those weights and gravity seals are gone. It's time to give it my all, but I don't have time to play."

He snapped out of his thoughts and shouted:

—Karasugan, it's time!

From the sky, fireballs began to rain down on Momoshiki, creating a series of explosions. "Boom, boom, boom!" echoed throughout the battlefield. Karasugan descended at full speed, spreading its wings in mid-flight and preparing for its final attack. With its beak open, it launched a stream of lava straight towards Momoshiki.

Momoshiki, with a furious look, raised his hand and generated a huge black rod that shot towards Karasugan, colliding with the lava jet. The resulting shockwave caused the lava to disperse to the sides, causing explosions in various areas of the battlefield: "Boom, boom, boom!"

The black rod finally pierced through the entire stream of lava. Karasugan tried to dodge it, but it was too late. The rod stuck in one of his wings, and the giant crow plummeted from a great height, crashing to the ground with a huge roar: " Boom !"

Momoshhiki watched in amusement as the bird fell to the ground and mocked:

"You stupid inferior, how dare you!" he said laughing, but his laughter was cut short when he felt a direct punch to his ribs.

Boruto had caught up to him and the impact sent Momoshiki flying backwards, bouncing off the ground several times before stabilizing himself. Without giving him time to recover, Boruto made a great leap, extended his arm, and flicked his wrist, causing a giant Rasengan to appear. With a smile full of amusement, Boruto shouted:

—Die!

He raised his arm, ready to launch the Rasengan at Momoshiki. Momoshiki furiously stretched out his only arm and shouted:

—You'll be the one who dies!

From his palm, a crimson-colored Rasengan with a black core appeared, the same size as Boruto's. Both Rasengans collided in the air, creating a massive boom: "BOOM!" The shockwave scattered wind across the battlefield, destroying what was left of the Divine Tree's trunk. Boruto and Momoshhiki strained to defeat each other, both grinning in defiance.

Boruto applied more force, and at that moment, his glove was torn along with the sleeve on his arm. With a final effort, he shouted with all his might:

—Die!

Momoshhiki, desperate, shouted:

—You can't beat me, I'm Momoshhiki Otsutsuki!

But Boruto, with all his strength, pierced through Momoshiki's Rasengan, hitting him squarely. Momoshiki screamed in pain as Boruto twisted his wrist, causing his Rasengan to shoot out, destroying everything in its path: "BOOM!"

In his final moments, Momoshiki, stunned and weakened, muttered:

—Die here? It's impossible...

He watched Boruto through the destructive power of the Rasengan as his body disintegrated.

At that instant, everything froze. Inside Boruto's mind, a voice echoed:

—Human, can you feel my presence?

Boruto's surroundings turned completely white, and he suddenly appeared in a different place, filled with emptiness, with rock fragments floating around him. The sky was a mix of red and white, and in front of him was Momoshiki, with his original appearance, both of them were floating in the air.

Boruto opened his eyes in surprise and asked:

—Momoshhiki, what am I doing here?

Momoshhiki, watching him, spoke with an eerie calm:

—So it's like that... I see. You've intensely received the power of the Otsutsuki, but you don't have enough potential.

Suddenly, Momoshhiki disappeared and appeared right behind Boruto, whispering in his ear:

—You are not able to see your own destiny.

Boruto, serious, did not respond or move, listening to every word. Then, Momoshiki appeared in front of him again, looking at him with a gleam in his eyes. His Byakugan activated, and the veins around his eyes stood out as he smiled coldly.

"I can see your destiny clearly," Momoshiki said. "Get ready, you will lose everything. You have always been losing everything, little by little."

Momoshhiki moved his right arm and grabbed Boruto's arm, looking him straight in the eyes:

—Be aware, he who defeats a god is not someone ordinary.

Boruto smiled defiantly.

"I don't care if he's a god," he said firmly. "Only I will be the strongest, Momoshiki."

Momoshhiki laughed , his smile full of mischief:

—Hahaha... I hope it's fun. Go on your way and savor that destiny, human.

With those words, Momoshiki began to fade away and disintegrate. Boruto was dragged out of the mental space, and time returned to its normal course. Boruto's Rasengan continued on its trajectory, destroying everything in its path. Finally, it soared into the sky, breaking through the clouds and letting in sunlight. In the end, the Rasengan exploded into particles above the clouds, illuminating the entire battlefield.

Boruto was pushed back, falling on one of the branches of the Divine Tree, hitting the ground on his back. He was left looking at the sky, which had a hole through which the sun's rays passed. After a while, while still looking at the clouds, he turned his head towards his companion and spoke:

—Karasugan, are you okay?

From the crater, Karasugan replied in his amused but calm tone: "Don't worry, I'm fine."

The black rod that had pierced Karasugan's wing vanished into dust, and Boruto, noticing this, turned his gaze back to the sky, still lying down. He raised his right hand in front of his face and noticed something new: a diamond-shaped mark in the center of his palm. Although intrigued, he didn't pay too much attention to it. With effort, he sat up and said:

—Karasugan, disappear. I will also leave this place.

Karasugan nodded and disappeared in a smoke screen. Boruto stood up, and in the distance, in the corner of the Divine Tree's crater, he felt a weak chakra. He turned his gaze towards that place and saw Katasuke and his cameraman, both unconscious. Quickly jumping between the branches he reached them, and after performing several hand seals, he touched them, and they disappeared in a flash.

Before leaving, Boruto turned around and looked at the battlefield, at the rubble of the Divine Tree and the chaos that had been drawn there. Then, he too disappeared in a flash.

On the Konoha terrace, the Kages sat on the ground, unable to move due to the black rods embedded in their bodies. Despite having managed to remove most of them, at that moment, the remaining rods began to crumble and disappear. The Kages looked at each other, and Sasuke, realizing what was happening, spoke:

—Boruto has defeated Momoshiki... He has won.

Naruto, hearing Sasuke's words, smiled with joy. Those present were surprised to hear this, while Hinata, with her hands on her chest, one on top of the other, whispered to herself:

—Thank you, Boruto, thank you —a tear slid down her cheek, although she kept a smile on her face.

The Kages also smiled, visibly relaxed. Kurotsuchi, struggling to her feet, commented as a proud smile appeared on her face:

—That brat did it... Not bad. Konoha has a good ninja.

Gaara, with his usual serenity, added:

—Boruto has stopped Momoshiki. I'm surprised.

Darui, with lines in his eyes, but showing a slight smile, replied:

—It doesn't look like it.

Gaara looked back at him, but remained silent, as Chojuro spoke:

—Well, where will Boruto be?

At that moment, two people appeared on the terrace in a flash: Katasuke and his cameraman, both unconscious. Shikamaru, who was analyzing the situation, quickly gave orders to the shinobi present to provide assistance.

Sasuke, watching the newcomers, commented in a calm voice:

—If Boruto was able to send them here, then it should be fine.

The Kages nodded, and Naruto asked curiously:

—But how could Boruto follow us? He was never there.

Sasuke, thoughtful, replied:

—Who knows. Maybe he's come up with a new way to use the Hiraishin.

Naruto stood there thinking, while Kurotsuchi intervened with a smile:

—I didn't think that brat was carrying weights, and also gravity seals. His speed must have increased quite a bit. I would have liked to see him in action.

Chojuro nodded with a smile.

Shikamaru, scratching his head, interjected:

—I don't know what's going on, but first I want you to check them out. We need to make sure everyone is okay. Then we can talk.

The Kages nodded wearily, but just then, the door to the terrace flew open, revealing Sakura and Sarada. Both of them, eyes filled with tears, ran desperately towards Sasuke. Sarada, trembling with relief, threw herself into her father's arms, hugging him tightly.

"Dad!" she cried in a broken voice, burying her face in Sasuke's chest, while he, surprised by the intensity of the hug, slowly lowered his hand to caress his daughter's head, whispering softly:

—I'm fine, Sarada... I'm here now.

Sakura quickly moved closer and, without a word, enveloped Sasuke in a hug that conveyed every emotion. Her hands were shaking, but Sasuke, though stoic, wrapped his arm around her, allowing himself a brief moment of vulnerability.

Behind them as the door opened, Himawari, heart racing, ran straight to Naruto. Her small arms wrapped around him tightly, almost as if she was afraid he would faint.

"Dad!" she sobbed with tears in her eyes, while Naruto, feeling the warm embrace of his daughter, lifted her off the ground, hugging her with all the love a father can give. Himawari's tears wet Naruto's shoulder, but she didn't let go of the hug for even a second.

Hinata, watching the scene, also joined in, hugging Naruto and Himawari, creating a family hug full of love. Naruto, with a sincere smile, felt an enormous peace.

—Boruto- niisan kept his promise... I'm so happy —Himawari said through tears, clinging tighter to her father and mother.

Naruto, his eyes full of trust, stroked his daughter's head, while smiling.

While all this was happening, on the terrace of the Hokage building, Boruto appeared in his lair: the abandoned factory. With a gesture of tiredness and determination, he took off his clothes, dropping his jacket as he passed by his stone throne. Without stopping, he walked towards the back of the factory, where the incubation tubes were located.

One of the tubes made soft beeping sounds, and as it opened, Boruto, without hesitation, stepped inside. The tube automatically sealed itself, and a strange liquid began to fill it little by little. Boruto completely submerged himself in the fluid, which enveloped every inch of his body, relaxing his exhausted muscles. He closed his eyes, allowing the liquid to completely cover him, plunging him into a deep state of recovery.

The environment in the factory was cold and quiet, but the incubator system was running efficiently, working silently while Boruto rested.
