Born To Fight

Wilson has a dream to become a pro-wrestler. he goes against his mom's wishes to follow his dream, and he will do anything to become a successful fighter. He does not get into the academy but gets caught in the scandal of various nobles. Then he joins the revolutionaries to rebel against nobles but soon realises he can't give up his dream. Note: This novel is definitely not one of those cultivation type of books the MC is some OP dude, with girls flocking around him and the likes. cos it is simply not one of them. He makes lots of impulsive decisions and is understandably naive. He will only grow stronger as the novel progresses. So, if this doesn't look like what you prefer, at least do not post some annoying reviews. Thanks for understanding.

Chapter 109- An Alliance of the Hunted part 5

Dash appeared from the hollow tree behind and stared at the poisoned bounty hunter who went by the name 'Husky', who was having a hard time breathing. He coughed violently over and over again, until he coughed out blood.

"Sh*t!" Husky cursed. "F*cking poison." He coughed violently over and over again, rasping and gasping for breath after the fits of cough. It was so bad that Dash changed his mind. This Husky guy was going to die anyway. There was no need for him to risk his life. Quietly, he pressed a button and the hollow tree closed up, knowing fully well that Husky had barely a few hours left to live.

When Dash appeared back at the hideout, Wilson spoke quickly; "No red dots have gone off radar."

Dash looked at the screen for a few moments before nodding in agreement.

"Good." He said. "Although, we might have to change strategies."

"What do you mean?" Wilson asked, looking at Dash curiously.

"Some of these people were stingy enough to not bring high-level health potions with them. Which means if they were affected in the explosion, they must have been poisoned and save for high-level potions and herbs, they have zero chance of surviving - if my father was right."

"Okay. So, does hat mean we just have to wait for some time for them to die out themselves?"

"Yes and no!" Dash answered. " We can't take any chances with some of them. So, poisoned or not, we will have to attack certain people. Especially the rich ones with average strength. Luckily for us, the people we see do not have healing abilities cos that would have been very problematic."

"Okay." Wilson agreed monosyllabically for a lack of words to properly express what he wanted to say.

Dash moved back to his earlier position; where he stood, watching the many screens while Wilson did the killing.

"Hmm. Let's see." The former hummed and repeated the same lines over and over again while he watched and occassionally tapped certain buttons on a remote or the tablet by the side to change the angle of view. Wilson watched as Dash continued this until he suddenly stopped at a little girl's video. She looked like a seven- year old in black leather pants and shirt and with heavy make-up on which did nothing to dispel the fact that she looked seven.

"Her!" Dash said, pointing at the little girl.

"Hmm-hmm. No way. I am not killing a little girl!" Wilson shook his head with great vigor. That is one line he was not willing to cross - killing little kids. Adults; sure, little children; a big no.

Dash opened hid mouth but Wilson beat him to it.

"Wait a minute." The latter said. He moved closer to the relatively small screen - which was actually sixteen inches in width, but was the smaller of the screens. "Why would a seven-year old child be part of such massive hunts?"

Dash cleared his throat and began his debriefing:

"That, Wilson, is Lady Margaret. A forty-something old b*tch and highly skilled, highly experienced bounty hunter who for some reason has been unable to physically develop past her seven year old self. The most disgusting detail about her is her love for young underdeveloped boys. She does no deserve to have lived as long as she has." He said with an utterly disgusted look. Wilson did nether that last bit of detail, though. Instead, he asked a question based on the phrase that was repeating itself in his head.

"I'm sorry. You said 'highly skilled, highly experienced'?" He asked.

"Yes!" Dash answered.

Wilson looked at Dash, confusion boldly written on his face.

"If she is truly highly skilled and has a lot of experience in this bounty hunting thing, then why are we tackling her now? I mean, you said it yourself; that we are going to play the patience game with the strong ones. Or does she not qualify as strong?" The former, Wilson, asked.

Dash looked at lady Margaret as she walked past the trees cautiously; holding a gun with a flashlight attached to it. She was alone, a little farther from the others and was on full alert. He answered Wilson only after some time had passed.

"Plans have changed due to the new information I discovered. I said that earlier as well. We might have to attack certain strong ones now, using the darkness as cover. Don't worry, I think you can handle her just fine. Or are you scared?" He teased Wilson.

Wilson scoffed and raised his head to a side proudly.

"Of course not."

"Just what I thought." Dash said with a nod, his serious face was back on and Wilson could not tell if he was being sarcastic or being serious. Whichever it was, he did not have time to figure it out as Dash began to load him with tangible information that might help in his fight against her.

"Lady Margaret is a woman who knows how to use her slim and small, seven-year-old size to her advantage. She is great at using all kinds of guns and knives and like every combat expert, I believe she has a keen sense for danger. Although, her size can be as much of a disadvantage as an advantage, her ability is one that lets her feed on other life-forces. As a result, one cannot get too close to her or one would risk being sucked dry."

Wilson looked at Dash suspiciously and interrupted.

"You sure you are not just sending me out there to die?" He asked.
