My Sister's Hope

Lin Xiang was furious but he could only take it out on the servant.

"What the f*ck are you talking about? Why didn't you tell me earlier? How am I supposed to find another now? If this banquet ends in a disaster, you will be the one to blame."

"Don't just stand there, you idiots. Find me a pianist!"

Lin Xiang's men wasted no time making calls or running off to find a replacement.

They knew Lin Xiang's temper too well. A slightly upset Lin Xiang meant a good beating for them.

Li Leyi did not want to remain and embarrass himself further. He took Cui Si by her hand and started to head back to his car to go home. What was the point of staying?

"Young Master Li, are you leaving already? Why don't you just come on in?"

Li Leyi stopped and looked at Lin Xiang in confusion. What was this guy trying to do?

Cui Si simply turned around and obliged Lin Xiang.

But once again, they were stopped by the guards upon reaching the entrance. Cui Si turned back to look at Lin Xiang unhappily.

"Lin Xiang, what is the meaning of this? What do you want from us?"

Lin Xiang smiled disdainfully. What else could he want? To humiliate Li Leyi, of course. After all, they were enemies.

"Nothing much. Just that if you guys want to enter, Leyi will have to bow down to me and call me Brother."

Leyi's face darkened. Bow down to Lin Xiang? Over his dead body!

Cui Si was also very unhappy. The couple turned around to leave once more. But Lin Xiang stopped them again. "Fine if you don't want to bow down to me, I'll make do with you just calling me Brother."

The old man had a head full of white hair, but his complexion was ruddy and his body was well-built. He was not as old as he seemed. When Li Leyi saw him, his eyes lit up.

Dean Mou was a world-famous neurologist. Only he could save his sister.

Li Leyi walked over quickly and bowed deeply to Dean Mou before introducing himself.

"Hello, Dean Mou. I'm Li Leyi from the Li family. Sorry to bother you, but I have something very important to ask of you. You may name any price."

Lin Xiang and his father caught up to the two of them. Lin's father looked a little displeased as he glared at Lin Xiang. This was such an important day and yet he still let outsiders in. If today's matter was ruined, Lin Xiang would not have a good ending either.

Li Leyi held Dean Mou's business card in his hands. He was so excited that he could not speak.
