-Background: Echidna was once the princess of a kingdom in the {The Blue Land} known as {Aresviele}. But unlike the other princesses who were pampered, fed, and treated as royals, Echidna was not.

She was born with an absurdly strong innate ability to control her spiritual energy and subconsciously be able to use Mana, which in return allowed her to use magic.

Because of this, Echidna was not treated as a princess, but as a test subject.

The king, Edward des Ayvelles, hoped that in researching his own daughter, he would be able to uncover the secrets of how to use magic. Need to remind you that it was INCREDIBLY rare to see humans using magic as it was seen as something only magical beasts and gods could use.

The royal family experimented, tortured, and mistreated Echidna. That was until she was the age of nine.

At the age of nine, she managed to escape her prison in the depths of the royal castle via a secret escape tunnel she had accidentally stumbled upon.

Thereafter, she ran with all her might into the neighboring forest, hoping to lose the royal knights whome were ordered to recapture her.

She did manage to escape, but that was only after fate pitied her and helped her meet Melodas and the rest of the {Tarot Cards'} who were camping the night in that same forest.

Meliodas recognized her from the anime {Re-Zero} and decided to help her, killing all the royal knights and taking her with them.

After that, she joined the {Tarot Cards'} as [The Magician(I)].
