Bondrewd, a new beginning

What we know about Bondrewd from the epic "Created in the Abyss" - scientist, genius, "father of the year" and a lot of positive and not so positive qualities. Making this character extremely curious against the background of crowds of schoolchildren and other characters as bland as cardboard. After another "successful" experiment "Lord of Dawn" died, this time finally, and got into a new world, with a clear goal - to save the world, Will Bondrewd be able to save the world, will his attitude to life change, will he get a harem... maybe yes, maybe no. Read it and give me feedback. Postscriptum: this is the author's first work, so don't hit me, at least not hard.

Capital City

The sun was at its zenith, frying the entire surface to a medium heat with a persistence worthy of better use. The sun was at its zenith, frying the entire surface to a medium heat, including the road along which one unremarkable wagon was travelling. What was remarkable were its passengers: a bald bandit, a knight in strange black armour, and a big beast with white milky skin walking beside him.

"Fuck, it's hot," Dick began again, sweat pouring down from his forehead past his missing hair.

"Dick, if you complain one more time about anything, even one thing, I'll harness you instead of a horse and make you pull a wagon all the way to the capital, on the run." Bondruewd, of course, would not do that, but Dick's whining was beginning to get on his nerves, and though he was literally superhuman such whining could drive even a god mad.

"Hey, Bondrewd, I've been meaning to ask you, are you a necromancer?" Dick's voice was a little hesitant, but he asked the question.

"No. Not that I know of. I can't raise or control the dead. Why do you ask that now?"

"Well... we just didn't have time before, we had to get up at dawn in the morning, and we barely made it to this road, I'm just worried about why we're going to the capital, maybe you missed something, but we've been travelling for three hours and we haven't met anyone, you know why, and I'll fucking tell you why, because everyone: healthy people, just people, dumb-headed sheep, have already left." Dick didn't really want to appear near the capital, even if you exclude the "bitch" army of undead, the customers for the ring will be looking for him, and the people there are very serious.

"Well, how can I tell you, I'm going to save the capital, and you're my trophy, you'll guard the wagon while I'm dealing with the problem," Bondrewd turned his head towards Dick and looked him straight in the eyes. "Don't betray me, I'll make your life a living hell, and I never leave things undone."

Dick shuddered, he was really thinking of getting away, but Bondrewd's words, no, his ominous aura made the man break out in a cold sweat, even though the weather was hot.

"I was going to ask you what this is, by the way," said Lord Dawn, holding a paper roll with a wooden handle. Bondrewd had his own ideas, but he was curious to hear from Dick.

"This is a sticky bomb, my invention," said the bandit with a smile, and with a slightly pathetic intonation continued. "I took an ordinary bomb, covered it with a mixture of soot, wax and fish glue, attached a handle for convenience, and wrapped the bomb itself with oiled paper so that it wouldn't cling to my clothes... Wait, where did you get it?"

"From the wagon, of course, and there were quite a lot of them there," Bondrewd pulled back the edge of his cloak a little and showed a few piles in his pocket.

"You bitch, those are my bombs," Dick wanted to continue his outrage, but Bondrewd turned his head to him again, the bald man immediately quieted, and the Lord of Dawn continued the dialogue.

"How were you able to move, so fast and what was that red aura surrounding you," Bondrewd had already read a little help from the system on the subject, but perhaps Dick would give him more information. Dick looked at him as if he were the last moron and answered in a confused voice.

"What are you coming out of, bro? Even the last deer in the forest has heard about fighting techniques, but in short, people who have no talent for magic, with endless training and practice can try to awaken it, of course they won't succeed, but many will be able to discover other kinds of talents coming from their own souls, - that's what my teacher told me, and he won't say shit..."

Dick paused for a second, his gaze directed forward to the road, where a small dwarf was standing on a small hillock, waving his arms vigorously. He was dressed very provocatively, with a blue shirt, red trousers, and a stupid cap of the same colour.

The carriage pulled up to the dwarf and the bald man started the conversation in his own way, with an attack.

"Who are you and what do you want, little one."

"I'm a messenger from the guardian, I have a message from Audita to Bondrewd, "Go to the capital, you need help there, and it's a line." The dwarf took a small bottle out of his pocket and threw it to Bondrewd.

"Give it to the horse, you will reach the capital in a flash, and also, "if you don't wear the ring, Auditha will smite you with ANAL haemorrhoids".

The dwarf finished talking, and stared at the men in silence, Bondrewd silently walked over to the horse and poured the entire bottle into his mouth, the horse's eyes began to glow slightly.

"Thank you. - Said Bondrewd."

"So long, little dwarf," said Dick on the sucker.

"Actually, I'm a dwarf, and you're a faggot!" Said the dwarf and spat at Dick, hitting him right in the bald spot, then immediately ran off into the forest laughing like hell.

"You bitch," Dick got off the wagon and was about to chase, but someone grabbed him by the shoulder, "Now is not the time."

Dick understood, and his shoulder was a little sore, so he sat down in silence, but his gaze was fixed on the horse, which was shaking, its mouth foaming, and its eyes shining with all the colours of the rainbow. Bondrewd took hold of the reins and was about to strike them, but the thought that he had missed something did not leave him. Putting aside his doubts, Lord Dawn struck the reins and the horse sprang forward, breaking all laws of logic and common sense, rushing forward with the speed of a racing car.

"Fuck!" Dick shouted with all his arms and legs, holding on to the wagon.

...

Somewhere at the crossroads of worlds.

"He forgot to put the ring on, the bastard forgot the ring again," Audita's face was as red as blood, and steam was about to come out of her ears. The girl waved her hands in helplessness, in this situation it was the most she could do.

"Well at least he was heading towards the capital, that's good to know. "Mina was also slightly shocked by Bondrewd's stupidity, but showed no signs of displeasure.

"Ah... I also wanted to ask, why did your messenger look so strange?"

"Well, it's just that he was spying for me in one of the worlds, and he's the most complicated and inadequate dwarf who ever lived." Mina hesitated slightly, showing her friend that she didn't want to discuss it, but her companion, of course, didn't get the hint and continued asking.

"And why did he give him the potion, as far as I remember keepers are forbidden to help mortals, so brazen." Mina put her fingers to her temple and after a few seconds answered.

"Don't take the law so literally, firstly, the bottle is not mine but the dwarf's, and secondly, the potion is gone, so there is nothing to ask of me. "Audita, amazed by Mina's cunning, pounced on her with renewed vigour.

"Well, who pulled my tongue." Mina thought to herself, realising that Audita wouldn't just let her go.

...

The wagon rushed along the road scaring away the neighbourhood squirrels. Bondrewd was gripping the reins tightly, even he found it difficult to sit in the wagon, and his partner was not to speak of anything, Dick was thrown from one end of the wagon to the other, and only by a miracle he didn't fall out of it at the next pothole.

"How far are we from the capital? - Bondrewd shouted over the air currents.

"No, we'll be there in a moment," smoke was already appearing on the horizon. And after a couple of minutes, having overcome another hill, the capital came in sight of the travellers, but not in its best form, in the area were dragging crowds of zombies, and in the wall there was a big hole through which a crowd of various undead were pouring inside the city.

Breaking through the individual dead, the wagon moved forward like a tank, and the horse did not even think of stopping, knocking down everyone in its path with its carcass.

Bondrewd steered the wagon into the breach, "if the undead are already inside, things are bad."

"Where are you going, arsehole, we're going to die in there." But Bondrewd didn't listen to him, his mission had already begun.

The horse flew into the dead quietly rushing into the breach, pushing them with its carcass, the undead attackers noticed the threat and some of them turned around to meet the sudden guests in full force, but the maddened horse was unstoppable, it rushed forward without paying attention to the numerous fractures and wounds.

Bondrewd jumped out of the wagon and took a 5 metre leap and threw a couple of bombs into the crowd, a couple of seconds later a massive explosion pierced the area, flesh and bones flying in all directions, sprinkling the city street with bloody mess.

Sheathing his sword, Bondrewd began his shift at the meatpacking plant, mindless zombies, skeletons, ghouls and strange-looking wooden puppets came at him from all directions. But they were too much for him, slow, dumb and weak.

At this time Dick sat in the wagon and did not even think of getting out of it, but just to look outside, there was a real hell boiling there, in Dick's mind again and again images of his past, the same bloody hell. Before he knew it, the noise outside had died down,

Dick poked his head out of the wagon, the street was empty, the only one left on it was Bondrewd himself. The Lord of Dawn turned half a turn and the violet visor met the bald man's eyes.

"Come on, Dick, this town needs us, so let's go be heroes."
