"..." John watched his deadbeat dad get slayed. After Kotaro's two ninja-like blunt weapons loudly and brutally stabbed his abdomen, the energy rushing in his body caused a fluctuating mess.

Starting from the abdomen, he shined with bright light until the chaotic mix of his [Ergokinesis] and Kotaro's powers cocooned him. Then burst—into a pillar of orange light, vibrating the ground and shaking the air.

Pam, who had discontinued her covert strikes— when she noticed that Geese was about to die— rushed to drive off Terry, Ghislaine, and Baiken from the stormy and turbulent aftershocks.

She was only attentive and cautious, though. Because the aftereffects didn't appear life-threatening where the three teens stood.

Ghislaine and Baiken's mugs were still somewhat expected, but Terry looked terrified. No pun intended...

...In his daze and stupor, he would have been shaken and propelled harmfully if he had stood any closer at that moment.

Though he awakened his gene like Ghislaine, it had only been days.

He had much to learn and would learn a lot...Not just about the cataclysm-unleashing and deadly Kotaro...

John waited until Geese fell to return. When he did, and everyone saw him— before anyone could speak— he said:

"The cops are coming. We need to leave..."

Saying so, he didn't show shock at how the situation developed after he had left minutes earlier.

He just gave a cursory glance at Geese's body. While he reported the news.

The blond middle-aged man died when his [Ergokinesis] burst and rushed out of his mutant cells. Now he was just meat scrap.

John, who didn't think that Kotaro was so powerful or that she would easily solve one of his problems one day— or night, to be precise— was merry inside...

Whether cops came or not, they would leave.

"Cops, huh? Mmm…So fast…" Kotaro was smiling, but her bloodthirsty countenance and expression weren't as frightening as when she fought Geese.

She stopped cleaning her weapons and remarked before saying to her daughters:

"... Let's go."

Terry, at that moment, was still too dumbfounded to utter a word. John, who thought about something he wasn't familiar with, asked:

"What about the body?"

Kotaro replied promptly, "I have my ways to clean up things like that…But I have a special warning to pass to someone tonight… Don't worry, John, listen to your mom. Let's leave…"

"Okay." After John's nod, the group quickly evacuated the forest.

Everyone, except John, was on Pam and Kotaro's shoulders when they did.

Glancing at John and his speed, though he had a long way to go to get to their level, the two mothers exchanged a long glance…Both confused…

After a few seconds, though, Kotaro had a ridiculous idea in her mind...Figuring something out, she wondered in disbelief internally:

'...Is Sin that different from other terrors, or is John an absolute monster?'

'... His proficiency shouldn't be near flawless, but he can wield terrors spontaneously, can he?'
