Fallout

The looks on their face turned serious as they gazed at Aurel. To the outsiders when they redirected the wave it seemed nothing much, but only the involved parties would know that how much power that wave possessed.

The overwhelming aura covering Aurel made them both shiver. They had never felt such an oppressive feeling before, even when they fought giant beasts.

"What are you doing?"

Brad began to walk cautiously towards Aurel, clenching so hard on the handle of the broadsword that his knuckles resembled devoid of any blood.

"Me? I'm just defending myself."

Aurel smiled. His aura began to fluctuate affecting the surrounding area, scorching it. He didn't know if it was it's purpose but both Tad and Brad stopped advancing while they peered at dark aura with fear in their eyes.

Aurel didn't show it on the surface but to unleash all that power at his current level would do nothing but good.

He didn't know what happened. When he was about to attack the burly man something in his body seemed to attract all the ominous and evil aura towards him. By the time that he noticed that something was wrong it was already to late. That enormous amount of aura began to enter all over his body, till at some point his body couldn't take it anymore and it began to surround his body.

At first the feeling of all that power in his hands almost made Aurel lose his mind, but after thinking of all the adversities and obstacles that he had been through he managed to maintain a bit of clarity.

"Defending yourself? Trying to destroy an entire town it isn't definitely the definition of 'defending yourself'!"

Brad roared as is eyes turned red, filled with fury. To him he didn't see Aurel as a human being he saw him as a devil that only wants to cause destruction and bring despair and misfortune.

Tad also began to show a strong hostility. His body resembled a sword that was out of its sheath and was looking for a target to satisfy its hunger for blood.

Aurel squinted his eyes. Without any sort of warning, he dashed and punched towards Brad.

Although the surprise attack, the swift response of Brad showed that he had been through many life and death situations. He moved his broadsword to block the kick with hope that Aurel's kick would be completly blocked by the sturdiness of the weapon giving him an opportunity to retaliate.

But the moment the foot touched the side of the broadsword, Brad opened is eyes in astonishment.

He shout like a rocked into the wall making a hole in it. Brad slatted a mouthful of blood while he tried to hide the deep fear hidden in his eyes. His body was covered with injuries of all sizes and shapes and by look on Brad's face it seemed that he suffered serious injuries.

He gazed towards the spot where Aurel had kicked the sweapon and he was flabbergasted.

His broadsword that could cut through a hill had an half an inch depression on the side of it.

If that had hit me instead of the broadsword, my fate would certain be different from just so serious injuries.

He couldn't help but to shiver at that terrifying sight. Tad seeing the serious injurious on his old friend, his face turned dark. The moment he was about to charge at Aurel, a weak voice sounded from the wall.

"Don't fall for it, old Tad. Although it's somewhat serious it's nothing that I cant solve?"

Brad got out of the hole, while he began to return to his spot beside Tad. His steps were unstable and gave the feeling that a strong breeze would make him fall but with a firm will he managed to walk beside Tad.

Aurel gazed at this sight and was a little surprised. Even though hsi power was decreasing and he was getting weaker by the second, he still had an idea about how strong that kick had been.

It seemed that this world is more mystical and dangerous that it seemed on my memories. Aurel bright his hands behind his back and as if teleportatiin disappeared without releasing any sound at all.

Everyone including Tad and Brad stood there rooted as they saw that terrifying beast disappearing from their sight. Only in their thoughts did they wish that this monster never came back and forgot about them
