12: The Faceoff

The counter attack continues, Reo and Nagi are yet again proving why they're the most dynamic duo in blue lock. Simple one twos are destroying team x leaving them frozen in place. 

Currently they're on the verge of drawing out a new power between the both of them. One that can win them this game. Meanwhile from the sideline Zach is overseeing the match. "Hey you can't be serious right now. I can't believe they're about to actually go through a chemical reaction." With his dreads covering his eyes all that could be seen is his menacing smile. "Nagi I'd expect this from, but Reo? He's proving why he's a genius in his own right. I thought I'd have to actually lace up my boots and save them." 

Back to the counter attack though Nagi was currently going through the defense. "Your run ends here white hair!" But with a simple flick up Nagi is soaring above the defender leaving him sliding across the ground. "Have fun on the ground." But his magic didn't end there, he then uses a body feint to through a defender of him, then a step over to lose another. "You guys just keep on coming huh. Over to you Reo." He then uses a rabona pass to Reo.

"My turn!" Reo manages to get to the past then explodes to the goal. With a chop he throws a defender out of the field, then a ball roll to create space. Ahead of him he then sees a tall image of Zachary and Nagi looking down on him from the heights of heaven. "You've both always been ahead of me... Zachary I get, but you Nagi. I was the one who taught you the sport yet you've pulled ahead of me this much." He then proceeds to use a roulette to get past another defender. "But not anymore, we made a promise to each other. And I plan to fulfill it!" The dynamic duo has made a lot of ground and are staring at the image of the goal. With a trivela pass Reo sends a cross in to Nagi but before Nagi could touch it, the fallen king is back. "Oi don't tell me you boring dickless bastards forgot about me!" But this time Nagi was ready... "Nagi the ball is coming!" Reo could only yell before he saw it, with a flick of his heel Nagi kicks it over Barou. 

"Still think I'm boring shithead king?" Barou pissed tries to foul Nagi by pushing him of balance, "You sure your not the dickless one." Nagi then pushes Barou back before launching a shot at goal."Piiiiiiii, AND WITH A SCORE OF 4-1 TEAM V WINS!!" The pitch was silent for a second before Team V erupts with yells. Everyone including Zachary runs on to the pitch. "Nagi that was sick!! You completely wrecked Barou!" Jumping on his shoulders Reo was extremely hype. "Yeah that was crazy as hell Nagi. But if I was healthy I could definitely pull it of to" But what he did was crazy, I'm happy to see him progress. 

"You completely skinned Barou!" Zantetsu also did well, throughout the game he was operating in both offense and defense, not to say in terms of acceleration he's also quicker than me. Meanwhile, from afar Barou could be seen with his angriest impression yet, "Lazy as bum, next time we play I'll make all 3 of you my slaves, just you wait Zachary, Reo, and Nagi!"

{DOCTOR ROOM}

"So how's it looking doc." Currently I was at the doctor getting my ankle treated. I've been able to run and kick a ball, but the pain still appears after a while, like a dagger being stuck in my ankle. "Well, I can give you the green light to play you next game bu-" Before he could finish Zach screamed with joy, he could finally go back to playing, looking up he has a newly established fire in his eyes. "I'll definitely carry on my dream, nothing will stop me from being No.1, no matter who or what it is. I'll definitely honor you aunty. "But if you let me finish, there are still micro tears that can re-open if you play to hard. So try not to go all in." Giving him a nod I thank him for treating me, before I leave the room. "I give him 2 games before he gets back in here."

Walking the hallway to the cafeteria I notice a new guy on the table talking the boys. "Hey who's this?" Sitting down Reo is the first to notice me, "Yo how'd the doctor appointment go." Smiling I responded, "Well he said I'm all set for next game. So you guys better watch out I'm coming for number 1." My eyes flashing with confidence before turning into a blank face wondering who this is. "So what's your name?" Kuon noticing his rank as 300 says, "Nothing that concerns losers like you." Suddenly the whole tables eyes open with nervousness. While Zach hasn't looked at him yet. "Loser huh?" Getting up they're now face to face. "Who the fucks a loser?!" Overwhelming pressure hit Kuon, but he stood his grown. But before he could respond a voice calls out to the table. 

"Hey, that's enough Kuon." Turning around Zach notices a black haired boy but sees him as the guy who ran for the door at the very beginning of blue lock. "And who are you supposed to be?" Staring at him before suddenly a whole group arrives, "Isagi Yoichi, a member of Team Z, the ones who will take you down." 

"You guys beat us?" Standing up Reo walks up to team before putting his hands around Zach shoulder. "In a million years would you beat us." Then Zantetsu joins the faceoff, "Exactly what my foolish teamate says, you beat us? My calculations say 0.01% chance." This was the faceoff of the two Teams that will face as the last game of this selection.
