THE REGULARS

"We made it" said Grey as we arrived outside the building.

I could have made it here so fast even Grey and Enri would not even see my image but I had run at their speed.

"Dude, I'm definitely not ready for this test" said Enri shaking his head.

"Relax we've got this!" I said as I tried to boost their confidence, "What haven't we been able to do? Think about it, we've gone through training that would make professional athletes run and cry and we still look this good what's there to be afraid of" I said as I struck a pose which I felt looked sexy.

"You are right, it's just a test and all our lives we've been forced to write tests whether on a piece of paper or through some other medium" said Grey as if he had suddenly gotten sudden insight into life. Enri just laughed after seeing Greys action.

"Let's go in and look for a good sitting position" said Enri as he strode in.

Jeffrey arrived just in time for the test, and Grey had been able to save him a seat close to us.

"You guys are super-fast" said Jeffrey as he took his seat.

"What are you interested in becoming as fast as we are?" asked Enri with a strange smile hanging on his lips.

"Yeah, I wouldn't mind" replied Jeffrey.

Enri, Grey and I just looked at each other before laughing.

"Why are you guys laughing?" asked Jeffrey as he was confused.

"Trust me the last thing you want to do is join us to train because the moment you join us you won't be able to quit for the next month" I said plainly.

"Wait, so you guys think that I can't go through the same training as you guys" asked Jeffrey.

"To be honest, it's not that we think you can't do, we know you won't be able to do it" said Enri.

"Oh really, then let's make a bet" he said.

"Clear your desks and only keep the essentials needed for the test" interrupted Mr. Leo the lecturer whose test made everybody scramble here in the morning.

"Let's finish this first and we'll talk about that later" interrupted Grey.

The test was pretty much easy for me since I had a super cheat memory and assistance from an alien at the same time, according to Blue "It's not cheating if it's a part of you" rather what he was trying to say was that his being a part of me could also be said to be one of my strengths.

That was not the case for Grey, Enri and Jeffrey they answered the questions they were sure of easily but they started to get stuck when they attempted questions they were not sure of and how could I, Hyla, possibly not help them.

We finished the test fairly quick as Mr. Leo just laughed while collecting our answer booklets back, occasionally he would look at a random answer booklet and laugh before keeping it back with the rest.

We had a pretty fairly good time throughout the day, the Engineering drawing and design class was more complicated than normal, but thanks to Blue who simplified the drawing and displayed it in a Three-dimensional holographic form in front of me while explaining it, made me able to understand what the lecturer was talking about.

"Hey where are you guys going to?" asked Jeffrey as we turned in the opposite direction of the canteen.

"To the gym" replied Enri.

"We're supposed to talk with our coach, do you want to come along" asked Grey.

"Yeah, I would love to see the look on your faces when I crush your training" said Jeffrey.

"Okay, let's go".

We strolled to the gym leisurely since Coach Michael only wanted to talk to us.

Arriving at the gym, we met Roxanne waiting for us, the moment we stepped into the building she came running at us,

"You guys are finally here" she said as she talked to us, "Please come with me, Coach Michael has been waiting for you"

"What's up?" I asked as I we walked towards the elevator.

"I think it's best if Coach Michael explained" she said as the elevator doors closed.

For some reason she seemed to be very tense and nervous unlike the usual Roxanne we met every time we came to the gym, it was to the point where I could tell she was very afraid of something.

Grey, Enri and I just looked at each other since we all wondered what could possibly cause this strange behavior.

"So… it looks like you guys are popular over here" said Jeffrey as he broke the silence in the elevator.

Turning around Roxanne asked "Who are you?", apparently, she had completely ignored his presence from the moment we arrived till now.

"Hi, I'm Jeffrey" he said as he extended his hand out or a shake.

"Ok, but what are you doing here?" asked Roxanne ignoring his outstretched hand.

"Oh… right, I'm a friend of theirs" he said as he slowly pulled back his outstretched arm.

"Oh…" simply replied Roxanne as the elevator doors opened.

She immediately escorted us to Coach Michaels office, before she paused outside the door to his office and gestured for us to go in.

We looked at each other as we came to a silent agreement before we made our way into his office, Jeffrey was stopped by Roxanne as he tried to follow us in.

"Please wait for them outside" she said as she blocked his path.

"Ok"

"This way" she said as she escorted him to the waiting area.

Unknowingly we had become the Regulars at the gym, who had an unimaginable amount of tenacity and willpower.

"You boys finally decided to come" said Coach Michael as he saw us walk in. "That's good" he said before gesturing to us, "Please seat" he said.

"What is the problem Coach?" I asked as we sat.

"It's something I need your help with" as he brought out a file from his drawer.

Thud! sounded the file hitting the table.
