CRISIS

"Where do I go?" asked Hyla all tensed up and on edge as he ran.

To other students he looked like a crazy guy as he ran past them. Hyla on the other hand was unable to think straight the only on his mind was to get as far away from here as possible because he did not even know how he found himself in this crisis.

"Hyla go left" instructed Blue as he found that whatever was after them was getting close.

"Which way is left?" asked Hyla, all he could see because of the effect of the detection stat was blurred objects so he found it hard to even tell his left from his right, it felt as if the whole world was spinning.

"in the direction of the giant green blob" said Blue. The giant green blob was in fact a booth. "keep moving kid" said Blue anxiously.

"I'm trying" replied Hyla despite not being able to tell where he was going. His heart thumping faster than it ever had in his life. His legs felt like they did not belong to him anymore he just knew he was running.

Slowly the booming sound in his head seemed to reduce and he was able to make out his surroundings but that did not stop him from moving, instead he became even faster.

"Head back to the dorms" instructed Blue as the booming sensation his head disappeared.

Without saying a thing, Hyla changed directions heading for the dorms using the shortest path he could think of as he ran.

Walking into the room, Hyla collapsed on his bed completely exhausted. Thankfully Grey was not back or else he would have been asked way too many questions. Grey had taken some time off earlier but he did not exactly mention what he needed to do before leaving.

"What the hell was that?" asked Hyla as he lay down watching the ceiling.

"We were only able to escape because it let us" said Blue. "You have to watch yourself when you are outside" Blue said seriously as he took a big drag from his pipe, obviously if Hyla was to focus well enough he would have been able to see that Blue was also rattled a bit.

"Yes, what about the booming sensation in my head?" asked Hyla.

"it's because of the detection stat, originally when I first took host in your body I wired your brain to be able to pick up signals similar to that of mine" said Blue as took a seat while a rocking chair appeared right behind him when he sat, "I guess you could say it functions like a radar" said Blue as he put it simply.

"it felt like my head was about to explode" said Hyla as he laid there.

"Don't worry about that it's because of the sudden influx of information" replied Blue, "as long as you focus you should be able to regain control of mind after a while but it will not be easy, so I suggest you be on alert no matter where you are." Said Blue sternly.

"oh, you're back" said Hyla as he walked out of the bathroom to see Eni walking in.

"yeah, how was your day?" asked Enri as he walked towards his bed.

"Good" said Hyla trying to sound cheerful but for some reason when I recalled what happened earlier I felt a bone chilling cold in my bones. "What about you?" I asked.

"It was not that bad" replied Enri, "What about Grey?" he asked as he took off his shoes.

"I don't know, he left in the middle of the day, I guess he had something to attend to" said Hyla as he walked towards the window.

It was well into the evening as he watched the sun slowly set disappearing into the horizon.

"Will I have to hide my whole life?" wondered Hyla as he watched the sun set.

This single thought made him scared, he kept on thinking about this same question over and over again in his head.

"Will everyone around me be put in harm's way" thought Hyla as he lay on his bed questioning himself.

Eventually he finally fell asleep, but only to be plagued by what happened by what happened yesterday. The feeling of helplessness he felt, the fear, the danger every single emotion he felt was multiplied over and over again causing him to not be able to sleep at all the whole night.

Early in the morning he was startled by the sound of the door opening as Grey entered the room.

"Welcome back" said Hyla as he startled Grey also.

"What was that for? I felt my heart was about to leave my body" said Grey as quietly took off his shoes.

"Just for fun, but where have you been?" asked Hyla.

"I was at the lecture room, reading" he replied as he put his bag down, "I can't really understand some other parts of the physic involved" said Grey as he sighed.

"You could have asked me?" said Hyla.

"No way man, you already did enough, I'm just spread out too thin so I have to consolidate the part I understand on my own while trying to understand the parts I don't on my own" said Grey, "Don't worry about me, you should worry about yourself more because you will be the main player in the AGC since Enri and I can't match up with you" he said.

"It's no problem I can still help you" said Hyla.

"Alright, but I don't know how you are able to do it? The school work and the competition, not to even mention normal training when we did not have to think about the competition" said Hyla.

"Even I don't know how I do it" replied Hyla as he lay back on his bed to see if he could still sleep.

Grey said nothing as he also tried to get some shut eye seeing as he was reading the whole night.
