8,5 years later..

I carried a cake with me and slowly walked up to my room with Rose. Today is Rose's birthday so we prepared a surprise for her by baking her a cake by destroying the kitchen.

/"Daniel!/" Morris my first son gestured his little brother to be quite because he slipped.

/"Don't shout!/" I put one hand on his mouth shutting him down. We all tip toed to my room and opened the door slowly. Rose was still sleeping soundly, she's tired working yesterday and as she got home she pass out.

I counted to three slowly.

/"Happy birthday mommy!/" The boys shouted and Rose opened her eyes. I know she's shocked but she smiled as she realized that we surprised her.

/"Happy birthday wife!/" I said and she looked at me smiling.
