Chapter 3: An Old Present Friend

Jun Myeon or sometimes called "Suho" by his nearest friends, is a well respected police in the city. His family doesnt own very big economy. But they do really fine with their small mini shop within their neighbourhood. (It is the same town Jisoo is living.) He is well known for his many successful victories in the past cases ...and is known to a "sharp investigator". And that is the truth, Suho likes something adventurous and complicated cases to solve. He takes pride in his success.

It is a hot sunny afternoon...but Jun Myeon has to practice shooting in the field where police practice their skills or do the exercises. Sometimes they do in inside hall but Jun Myeon prefers the sun.

It is until he is disturbed by his fellow police buddy...

"Hey... Suhoshi"...the friend says, "There's a young lady who wish to see you.."

"Who"

"Umm...I don't know..but she said it's very important and very private"

Suho thinks seriously for awhile.

Then he says,

"Okie, Lay..where is she..I will go and see her now"

"She is at the station" the friend Lay says.

Suho comes into his own private room in station.

The lady in black is sitting quite elegant on the sofa near the door that is facing to Suho's work desk.

Suho thinks she's very pretty but looks miserable as much as her pretty appearance.

Suho goes to sit at his work chair. Then he looks at her directly. And asks, with smile...

"Umm. .Ok..my lady...how may I serve you"...

She looks up at him...and "I have a very private case...I wish you to help me"

Suho nods.

She continues, "You might have heard that my brother's body is not found in that accident. I am sure that he is not dead."

"Yes, we are doing the job (looking for Namjoon) as much as we could."

Suho says.

She sighs.

"I have a favor to request...."

Suho looks at her.

She continues " I hear that you have done professionally done on detective jobs"

Suho just smiles.

"I just hope you will do the same with my brother's job too...."

"...but if you find him... will you please don't make it known to public just... especially to my family"

Suho looks confuse..."why not!!"

"There's something!" ...she sighs again..." I will be really happy if you will work on job for me"

Namjoon is still sitting in the hospital room.

Minho comes in. He says,

"Its not actually save for both of us to meet often..but I have something to offer"

Namjoon looks up at him.

"One of my distant uncle lives around here. I have talked to him already. He accepted to help you. He do the gardening job here. You have to go and live there as our relative there. I have already done with your new ID and all the documents for now. It will be good if you can just go today."

Namjoon sighs.

In the evening of that day, Jisoo and Rosé comes to the hospital to find that the man that they come to see is not there at hospital.

They just come out of there disappointedly.

Jisoo says, "Well, we have work the whole day today. I hope all is well with him"

Unluckily for the girls

It is starting to get dark. The girls happen to meet a couple of robbers.

It is near an alley of their small town, which is a faster route to hospital from Jisoo's mother dress shop. Yes...Jisoo and Rosè are regreted they don't take the straight road which is although it's longer one, it is a safer one.

Of course...if those robber men were sane they might not want to do anything to the poor girls. But they are quite drank.

They looks at the girls with hungry looks.

Rosè and Jisoo try to run..but the girls too frighten of the guys..who actually are faster than them.

Yes...of course. This is all set up of destiny to meet the other guy who come to save them. It's Jun Myeon, their friend.

Both Jisoo and Rosè admire their charisma in Jun Myeon cop fighting off the drunken men. XD

They are all finally saved. And those two robbers are sent to police station.

They are all happy save... especially, Jisoo's mother. They invite Jun Myeon/Suho to dine with them.

Suho has been knowing and been smitten with Jisoo since their college days.

Jisoo was first year when Suho was in his final year.

Their first meeting was when ....Jisoo came to college for first time. She didn't know the hall to go for registration and was wondering around college..she bumped into Suho who was walking by and asked for help.

They happened to meet around college very often. Jisoo was well known for her beauty and her kindness and humble nature although she was a shy person but is a friendly type once she loses that shyness. Suho was very smitten by her. But he was not dare enough to make move due to their social classes. They later learn that they comes from the same home town. He is still not dare enough to tell her until now who is like a flower that fall down from the sky.

But he has been her old present friend until now.

At that dining moment at her home, Jisoo asks Suho to name one present give him for helping them that evening.

Suho says...

"I want a bunch of white flowers"..then he laughs.."I'm just joking"

Jisoo replies.."Umm ...white flowers...!!"

Rosè and Jisoo's mother are both looking at Jisoo and Suho, and smile. They can guess the guy admiration for Jisoo.

One month has passed.

Namjoon has been living with Minho's uncle, Mr Choi and helping him with a gardening there in the name of distant nephew.

This town is known as "Flower Town" due to its being easy in planting different kinds of flowers. Gardening and growing crops are the main source of income for the town people.

Jisoo loves here a lot. Although she has been growing up in Seoul, she got to visit here quite often. She knows most of old folks here. She knows Minho's uncle though not so familiar with Minho himself.

Jisoo sometimes go to the garden to admire the flowers. Mr Choi has allowed Jisoo to take flowers free on occasion and sometimes she does pay for it often too. (Mr Choi is very friendly with Jisoo grandparents on her mother side).

"It is spring time, the flowers must be beautiful", Jisoo thinks. "Think I need to pay a visit"

Yes...the garden is very beautiful with colourful flowers..roses, lilies, orange blossoms.. even cherries are blossoming. (It is a very big garden).

Jisoo suddenly look at one cherry tree. It is a white cherry trees. And at that very moment ..white cherries are all so beautiful on it. However, there is one small bunch of cherry that is pink nearly growing to red.

Jisoo is curious..or to be more exact...want to climb up on that tree like she used to when she is a lot younger.

She climbs up there...able to get her small bunch of pink red cherry. She is too happy.

But when she climb down..she slipped and fall down from the tree.

But she falls right into the arms of a gardener there.

Jisoo is too shock to recognise anything yet...when she conscious again...she see herself still on the arms of the man...whom she found lying on the seashore over one month ago.
