“You’re going to visit the historian?” Nora asked as Colette lay across her lap, both of them having done their tasks for the day.
“I am. I think it will be the best bet to establish my house.”
Nora thought for a moment, putting a hand on her own cheek. “I think you might be right, Colette. Lady LaFleur has always been the type to help others out.”
“We just have to get there before someone else does.” Colette sat up, and Nora shuffled off the bed. “So we’d better go pretty soon, right?”
“Right.” Colette pulled her hair into a ponytail, and put on one of her jackets. Black, with little pink decorations across the front.
“Do you know where Lady LaFleur lives?” Colette asked, and Nora nodded.
“I’ve been there a few times. She interviewed my mother when she was writing her book. I was about 10 or so when it came out, so she brought me with her.”
That made sense. Colette watched Nora put her shoes on, as she put on her own heeled boots.
