"Disperse," Teng Ma's voice cut through the air, surprisingly calm and even, as he surveyed his men positioned like an iron ring around Jin. 

Faces marked with reluctance, their eyes peeled away from Jin, and the weapons they had held firmly moments ago fell to their sides. 

One by one, they filed out of the room, their steps heavy with uncertainty and the weight of unspoken tension.

Jin remained, his Blood Rifle unwaveringly trained on Teng Ma. For those who observed closely, his once blazing intensity had mellowed, replaced by an eerie sense of calm.
