Before this, Zhao Mi had brought countless roles for Shen Yue. All of them were either negative or explicit ones in third rate films and dramas.

Shen Yue could accept those roles... But they would inevitably make her lose the direction she wanted her reputation to develop.

The role an artiste takes reflects upon her reputation.

It was alright to take a villain or a negative role. In fact, during the past few years, villain roles were trending and more sought after than the main roles.

Zhao Mi erupted just as she had stepped out.

"Manager Zhao, you need to teach her a lesson."

"Yes, Manager Zhao she has no regards for you. You should report her to the higher management She can't continue declining the contracts like this."

Hearing the assistant words, Zhao Mi mood lifted. Her eyes flashed as she smiled. "You are right. She can't continue like this. This is against the contract she signed with the company."

She had to apply first. Only if the selection team found her fit for the role, would she be called for the casting interviews.

However, her past accomplishment was mostly because of a semi-hit historical drama. Since they were from the same genera, she was most likely to be qualified for the interviews.

Shen Yue's lips curled up. "If I remember correctly, the drama was an epic hit. It had won many nominations and awards. If I am capable of getting my hands on this role, I ould be one step closer to my goal..."

Determination sparked in her eyes.
