FLASHBACK 4
Ella and Zaan were in their room when Ella heard some strange noise coming from the main hall, to be exact it was like someone is hitting some iron rod or something to a wooden table. She shake's Zaan to get his attention. Zaan turned towards Ella and hummed without sparing a single glance to her and continuously looking at his mobile.
"Zaan don't you hear some strange voice coming from the hall" said Ella keeping her eyes towards the door.
"No i don't" said Zaan while looking at her face strangely.
"No I swear I can definitely hear it, come with me lets check what is it" said Ella while dragging Zaan with her. They entered the hall in the second floor. The next moment a hideous grinding sound as of some monstrous machine running without oil burst from the big television at the end of the hall. It was a noise that set one's teeth on edge and bristled the hair at the back of one's neck.
"Zaan what is this my head is hurting because of this voice, plz do something" Ella shouted at the top of her lungs.
"Can't the others hear it, why aren't they coming out, don't tell me everyone else left only we are here alone" Zaan said while looking around to see if anyone else was home.
"maybe they all left, but why should we care for them first turn the television off" said Ella.
Zaan walked towards the television and tried to turn it of but it was useless, he turned back to find something to turn it off right at the moment he saw a knife at the table, he grabbed the knife and cut the wire of the tv.
"Thanks GOD it ended i thought i was going to die" said Ella with a sigh of relief.
Zaan just hummed in reply and looked around to see the last time if only those two were around or if their was someone else.
Suddenly the light went off. Ella ran towards Zaan and hugged his arm "Zaan I am scared" said Ella "first the tv and now the lights why is this happening" she said while crying. Zaan caressed Ella's cheek and said "it's okay nothing will happen i am here with you" Ella just nodded while trying to calm her heart.
