"Hitomi and Daiki focus on the north zombies. Mari, help me cover the surroundings, and Shinji, clear a path to the police station!"

Four voices echoed as the group split up.

Hitomi and Daiki worked in tandem, his archery helping to thin the slow-moving zombies climbing from buildings and heading towards the police station, ignoring them.

While Hitomi guarded him, she used her spear to kill any within twenty yards of his body.

Mari did the same, but her position on the opposite side helped Shinji as the zombies continued to appear and the police station shooting came closer to the group.

Aya's body was like a spectre of death as she fluttered around the concrete without a sound, her blade slicing through zombies with an accurate flick of her wrist to cut their spinal nerves, moving to the next with minimal movements.

Her figure was more like the Ryu in her thoughts than Aya herself, and Shinji, who joined her gym, knew that it wasn't a good sign, feeling the need to help her snap out of it as soon as possible.

'Faster, I need to kill faster with more accuracy.'

Aya thought, her body lunging forward, pushing the bottom of her sword as it penetrated the throat of two zombies, granting her more divine qi.

The police station shooting stopped, and Shinji yelled, "We must move fast! The station is under attack!"

Aya's eyes shined as she vanished towards the police station, her body not stopping as the number of zombies she killed reached thirty-five.

Shinji's eyes flashed as he calculated the zombie numbers and saw a horde of 180 from the northwest was now 140; Hitomi and Daiki were working well, with Mari helping to defend him and Aya.

Shinji ran forward, his movements faster as he moved to the police station with Aya, their speed faster than an athlete as they passed the bodies of the undead.

One more shot sounded, and their eyes focused on a lone woman covered in blood with blonde hair and maroon eyes. She looked at them in shock as Aya's body lept into the air, slicing down a zombie's body to save her from being bitten.

"Get inside the police station!" Aya shouted, her body cutting and killing as Shinji did the same, his hands reaching the door and slamming it shut as the blonde-haired police officer stood shocked, her eyes widening from the sheer power of this group of young adults.

"Hitomi, Daichi, Mari, hurry!"

"You too, miss police officer." Shinji nodded to her as he decapitated a zombie before following Aya inside, watching in awe as her body used the walls and counters to massacre the zombie cops easily.

"Shinji, stay here and protect them!"

'So close, I can reach closer to him with one thousand points!'

Aya wasn't a fool and knew her state wasn't ideal, but the goal was to help her heart and mind cope.

In a rage, Aya's body kicked out, the force causing their air to howl, before cracking an old man's jaw, the police outfit showing he was the station's chief.

Her hips followed through, causing his entire body to burst into blood mist. The golden aura and points added to the small screen in the corner of her eyes.

"Grrr..."

"Arrr...."

A group of zombies reached through the broken window beside her, seeming to be the office where the chief was sitting. Their faces were torn apart by the glass before one of them rolled over the frame, slamming the ground and crawling towards Aya.

Its mouth growled as Aya's blade stabbed it through the brain.

Behind her, Shinji punched through a zombie's face, saving the policewoman and Hitomi, who supported Daiki and Mari.

"Aya, the station is clear! We need to leave before more appear!" Shinji shouted, seeing her body move from zombie to zombie, stabbing their heads without hesitation.

Aya's body turned, her eyes focusing on the police lady looking at them in shock, but she could ignore that now and focus on Shinji's words.

"Do you not realise we cannot be in the open now?"

Aya's body ran forward, her steps passing the blonde police lady as her eyes turned and analysed her. Before she stopped, the woman seemed to have the rank of lieutenant, "Is there a way to secure the entrance or a safe area in this place?"

The blonde officer and Shinji looked confused as Aya seemed erratic right now.

Shinji was unsure and wanted to stop Aya before she looked at them, the slight bloodthirsty feeling around her body fading for a moment, "The gates are going to activate, and the zombies will soon become berserk for over twenty hours. We need a safe place; thankfully, we have food and drink, but nowhere to camp or endure!"

Shinji's eyes widened, and his hands clenched as Aya spoke; Hitomi Daiki and Mari seemed shocked but nodded.

"Chief's office can be barricaded. The windows are already smashed, so the door is all that remains..." The blonde police lady replied, her voice soft as she pointed to the end of the room, her eyes analysing Aya's figure.

"That's not secure. Is there no underground bunker or solid wall with a sealed door?" Aya questioned, her eyes turning and analysing the station, but her senses and system told her there was no such place.

"T-there is... in the jail."

"Perfect, Shinji, barricade the entrance; Mari, Daiki, and Hitomi gather supplies, food, water, and weapons. I will secure the jail with that police officer."

"Roger!"

Aya's figure vanished, running as the police lady followed.

Shinji and the others were piling things across the door of the police station; the metal guard was pulled down and fastened with cable ties.

"Guys, Aya isn't doing too good right now. Once this ends, we need to help her get over it."

"Mmm... I didn't know she loved him that much."

"I'll help; she has helped us survive this far. Now it's our turn to help her."

Hitomi was the only person silent as she looked at the fading backs of the two with a slight discomfort in her chest.

She felt that the desires of every one were for nothing...

"We need to hurry!" Shinji yelled as the zombies slammed the front entrance, their bodies slowly increasing, but thankfully, the steel gate and shutters would not be broken easily, while the group increased the barricade.

Aya's figure and the police lady reached the jail, a simple place with only a few cells.
