In the depths

Mike looked up into the star-filled sky, beside him stood his backpack, and on top of him lay a blanket he had taken out of the backpack earlier

"This sure is life…"

The thing Mike was laying on was neither the ground nor was it a ship, it was the biggest of the skull whales he had 'tamed' earlier, the skull whale was currently swimming in the direction of the next island in-between him and the continent of which there still was 3 including the one he was heading to, Time passed and eventually, Mike grew tired of looking at the sky alone and started meditating after he ordered the skull whales to stop for the night while he evolved the most of them, as they were thrashing around in pain as their bodies underwent massive changes, Mike started his meditation and soon it was daylight

"Hungry…"

Mike waved his hand and the newly evolved skull whales dove down below the waves and began hunting for something to eat, both for them and for Mike…

"This is the shit…"
