The Blind Hunter

~flashback~

"When will you return him?" 

The guard asked the cousins when he handed the blind hunter to them. 

"That's none of your concern. You know who we work for. Keep your place and stop asking." 

The guard eyed the blind prisoner who simply stood still and seemed not to care about what was happening around him. 

He was wearing what used to be a white shirt but had been used and washed so many times that the fabric was no longer recognizable as white and had too many stains and was too thin for the season. 

He was wearing worn-out sandals on his feet, exposing his dirty toes. His face could not easily be seen because of his facial hair that hadn't been shaved and the piece of white cloth tied over his eyes.

"He needs a lot of work."

The taller cousin said with disgust as she scanned the blind hunter before she pushed him a bit to urge him to start walking.
