Chapter 10: Karma against Darkrai

"Yes, It's me Darkrai. I have evolved through my own efforts. Hunting dreams and stealing the essence of other Pokemon. Our creator also allowed me to evolve so that I will test your powers and if you might defeat me, I will be a great help to your journey." Darkrai said in multiple rough voices. It's as if Karma was facing hundreds of people.

"No time limit right?" Karma asked.

"None," Darkrai Answered.

Karma and the crew situated for battle. Darkrai patiently waited as he observed and trying to guess what Karma will do.

Witting that they were about to attack. Darkrai quickly used [Double Team]. At least four Darkrai's appeared but Karma knew they are not as strong as the original one. Then, all Darkrai suddenly used [Sword Dance], a spirit looking sword danced around each Darkrai.

"Using buff moves at the beginning? What an excellent move!"

Instead of at least get intimidated by the sudden power spike of Darkrai, Karma felt the challenge facing a strong opponent. Was he really changing because of his race as a dragon? and becoming a battle maniac?

"I'll observe his capability for a moment while the three of you will battle Darkrai. Is it okay?" Karma implored and the three of them nodded.

Immediately, Garchomp and Kommo-O used [Dragon Dance]. A spiritual dragon swirled around their body for a few seconds then a red aura was flowing out from their figure. While Metagross used [Paych Up], purple aura flowing out from its metallic body, copying the status of Sword Dance and Double Team from Darkrai with a mixed of [Agility]

The three of them vanished in an instant and easily tracked down the main Darkrai with the help of Metagross's mind. Darkrai also vanished into a shroud of mist and suddenly appeared behind Komm-O.

Having an opportunity for a sneak attack, Darkrai used [Dark Claws] and it's illusions were using [Shadow Balls] as it bombarded towards the crew.

A metallic sound clangs the foggy area the moment Darkrai's claws struck. Komm-O was thrown a few meters away followed by multiple [Shadow Balls].

The bombardment did not halt but Komm-O manages to endure as many attacks as it could. On the other side, Metagross defeated two of the clones and used its utmost speed towards Kommo-O. Metagross used [Mirror Coat] and reflected all projectiles coming to them, some even hit the Darkrai's casting it.

Meanwhile, Garchomp was having a close combat battle against the main Darkrai. Continuously using [Dragon Claws] and [Dragon Tail]. All of Garchomp's attacks were very effective but Darkrai was too powerful at the moment.

Even though Darkrai has the upper hand, Darkrai perceived that Karma's power that wasn't even fighting kept on increasing. They recognize who Karma was, but they didn't know his ability because Arceus did not tell them.

Then, Darkrai used [Night Slash], slashing at Garchomp from head to toe, and Garchomp was strongly pushed towards the floor.

"Bang!"

A large blast creaked while leaving a huge crater on the hard ground. This time Darkrai is getting serious. Though the Pokemon wanted to accompany Karma. But the pride of being called a Mythical Pokemon was within them so being defeated effortlessly is not what they want to show.

Darkrai used [Double Team] again because all of its illusions are being destroyed by the ever-growing Metagross and Komm-O.

"Now, maybe it's my turn." A smile crept on Karma's face as he noticed that Darkrai is getting serious.

There are over twenty Darkrai's surrounding them right now but the crew did not falter. They trusted there master so much and looking at him with a battle maniac smile motivated them to fight and getting more powerful.

While walking towards Darkrai, Garchomp and the others gave him leeway and hopped behind. It was time for their master to fight.

"Draco Meteor."

Mumbled Karma and a few moments later, his eyes started to glow green and a golden cross-like wheel attached to his back, the same as what Arceus has. Then, the wheel turned into a different color like what Dragon-type categorized in a Pokemon game.

A few seconds later, comets are summoned down from the sky, this attack has a recoil to its user but Karma was too strong enough to compensate it.

Darkrai's illusions wanted to dodge but the meteors aimed at them were too much to handle. Even the main Darkrai was hit two times and the foggy territory was now brightened by Karma's onslaught.

"Haha, as expected of the champion of our creator!"

Rather of whimpering in pain, Darkrai laughed as it slowly levitated and positioned itself again for a counter-attack. For the time being, Karma raised his hand and used [Recover] to heal Metagross and the crew.

"In your form. I already can't win anymore. You were hiding your strength all this time, huh." Darkrai said with no dissatisfaction and instead, it was thrilled to fight a powerful opponent like Karma.

Darkrai started to gather Dark Energy that it can manage and yelled. "But, I will not give up without putting up a fight! [Black Hole! Eclipse!]" Darkrai's rough voice echoed at the area and a Black Hole appeared above. It started to suck everything around but Metagross and the others already retreated a few meters away.
