CHAPTER EIGHT

The classroom of the thunder clan ( Heavenly bream) was big enough to contain up to 200 students of the clan and it had little tables with silver mats as seats, where students kneel or stay cross-legged to listen to the lectures. Five steps up held the high table of the teacher who was believed to have lived for three hundred years and was totally an elderly scholar, his white hair and white long beards made him look so heavenly on his white robes,his hairpin was pure white and made from the finest pearl in the world.

It was believed he spent his whole life reading and mediating in his underground icy cave,suitated in the spring of living life in the Qu's clan (clan of white cultivators) . He was called Great elder Qing Qu and whenever he speaks,it sounded like ice waters soothing the depressed souls of people.

Soon the class was nearly filled up with sons and daughters of prominent men from different clans as everyone greeted each other with joy, The lecture was like a school held every two days in every year and exposing clans to make friends with each other. Some end up falling in love and getting married while others create alliances and build great trust around each other, it was from this lecture that many clans knew each other and hovered around each other with Harmony, thereby creating great leaders who were eternal friends till death.

" Great elder Qing Qu" the students greeted with heads bowed and arms held under their flowing sleeves. He indicated that they all sit which they did in silence and high discipline; Ever wonder why everything was done here with discipline? Because the Land of Dijin was known for their high discipline and high cultivation making them the overall and greatest, among other clans.

" How many clans are here?" The icy voice of the elder asked,he never raised his head a bit to look at them or teach them, which was already a normal tradition for years " Eighty" Xhou replied getting up on his feet and giving a slight bow " Hmm" the icy voice hummed as he stroke his beards " How many are absent?" he asked again " 10" Xhou replied still on his bowing gesture " Have a seat my child" the elder said as he flipped through the pages of the doctrines.

" Last year we all learnt about the twenty one principles of Dijin and the eight main laws of the immortals" He paused still flipping the pages of the doctrines " We have new clans among us and those who Didn't join us Last year" he stated making the new students to wonder how he knew " And I will love someone to help explain to them our principles and the main laws of the immortal" he concluded his face not moving. Weng Xing sat at the middle of two over serious boys and it irritated the whole out of his body, how can someone be so serious when learning? This lesson was totally boring his brains out and he was scared that he won't be mentally stable in the next two hours... Damn Xhou for tagging him along! He stretched his arms yawning mannerlessly and clicking his tongue so heavily that it attracted attention to himself not knowing it.

" WENG XING" Elder Qing Qu called his eyes fixated on the pages and never looking up. Surprised that his romantic name was called all of a sudden, he looked up and caught multiple pair of eyes on him" Sorry" he apologized looking down and pouting his lips " I stated that I need a volunteer" Elder Qing Qu yelled hitting his palms on the table and sending waves of fear into the hearts of everyone " Even you oh prince Xhou! You should be able to chant this principles by heart and putting the Land of Dijin in a right place but I am totally disappointed in you" The elder snorted in disappointment and shame.

" The twenty one principles of Dijin include:

* Endeavor to find any holy parcel missing and keep it safe.

* You must know how to cultivate and learn how to use the sword

* For white cultivators, you must learn how use any musical instrument

* Be clean on all celebration and atonement of sins

* You are not meant to serve two masters at the same time

* Having two godfathers is totally wrong and punishable by law

* Know the difference between sun dial and a spirit compass"

Weng interrupted as he kept spitting all the twenty one principles with his nonchalant attitude amazing everyone,to the extent the Great elder lifted his head for the first time in fifty years to see who that lad was " Eight main laws of the immortals

* Put on white and blue garments as a sign of purity and royalty

* All immortals are shall live in enclosed caves in snowy mountains and must only feed on honey and bread without yeast

* An immortal's sword shall be put behind his back not beside his waist like a mere mortal

* An immortal shall learn a cleansing skill with either a sword, harp,flute, tailsman or an accordion" and he went on and on until he was finished attracting whispers and muttering from students who were still in disbelief.

Xhou maintained his mean face even when he was utterly shocked by the intelligence of this sharata kid, noone had defeated him in all doctrines, principles and rules except Xiao Xian of ultimate clan. And right now,a genius was born without books saving him up from embarrassment.

The funniest part was the fact that the students noticed that their Great elder has lifted his head, after fifty years to look at the new student from Thunder clan. Weng himself was unaware of the happenings, Just sat there sketching a drawing in boredom " When has the people of Dijin produce a born genius?" Elder Qing Qu asked finally arising and causing everyone's jaw to drop, he was still energetic like a youth in his prime twenties and his white robes touched the marble floor as he descended making everyone to bow " He must have read the them somewhere" Xiao Xian blurted out in jealousy " No newbie is worthy of having the book even we older students" a student defended and everyone agreed " Morever we only completed Fourteen of the principles and Four of the main law" Another chipped in but Elder Qing Qu's eyes were on Weng who was on his own world. This kid wasn't ordinary but a gifted child that his existence will change so many laws and principles in the world and he will invent new outcomes and new rules.... just by his existence " Weng Xing are you asleep?" the elder asked finally bringing Weng Xing back to class " Ah no elder" he grinned wiping his face in anxiety...did he do something bad? and his eyes met with Xhou who looked away " I must have done something wrong" he muttered inwardly scratching his head to recall his sins but the question thrown at him was unexpected. " What do you say about seven demons of Hades?" The elder asked testing his intelligence and smartness " ah that? " he grinned still scratching his head " The seven demons are rulers of Hades and their basic uniqueness is corrupting and filling the minds of ignorant people with evil and pulling their spiritual being away, trapping them beneath. Each demon has a mantle of power but Two hundred years ago,it was said they buried the weapons with a special spell and falling asleep till this day" he replied with anxiety still.

" The difference between a nature and forced hindrance?" Xiao Xian suddenly asked surprising everyone " What do you mean?" Weng asked lifting a brow at Xiao Xian who didn't answer " Nature and forced hindrance are one thing, you can't change them...it only backfires and there is no such thing as forced hindrance....it is Liberty of hindrance" he corrected casually pointing at xiao Xian who was flustered. Who exactly was this kid? " How can you detect a white power changed black energy?" Another student asked enjoying this " Trail of furnace" Weng replied smiling " The method used to detect the white energy that enveloped to black energy, you can detect it because of the weak force applied to it by it's user" And the whole class began clapping for him with smiles on their faces " Indeed this kid is something else" The elder inwardly sighed before climbing back to his seat.

Xiao Xian clenched his fist in defeat, who exactly was this guy that has brains without even touching a book? " Xiao Xian looks insecured" Force whispered into Liam's ear " At least his ego has been trampled upon by Weng" and they chuckled attracting a glare from Xiao Xian " The Last time I checked.... I didn't mention your name" Force said rolling his eyes in mockery increasing the burning anger and jealousy in him.
