Chapter 5- Perfidious

(ALAN'S POV)

I sit on the prison bed, whistling.

Ahh...I can't wait to get out of this hellhole.

I wonder what they're up to...out in the real world?

I can't wait to get my hands on her...squeeze her little neck until she can't breathe anymore! The joy!

Hmmm...maybe Ian saved some of the fun for me.

But then again...he's a selfish bastard. He's not dumb though. Ian wouldn't make that mistake.

Then I'd have just as much fun cutting him up as I would with Jae!

Chop! Chop!

I start laughing when I hear a voice, stopping.

"Alan!"

"What?"

I mumble, and my father swears.

"What are you doing?! This wasn't a part of the plan!"

I scoff.

"I didn't ask for your dog shit plan, Harold. Shut your fucking mouth."

I then shut him out, staring blankly at the wall in front of me.

If I'm correct, it's 10pm. That means they should be here soon.

********

(GEORGIA'S POV)

We all stare in pure shock as Ian picks up the camera.

"Remember what I said, darlings! See ya in exactly 33 hours! Don't forget! Or I'll tie this bitch to a chair and throw her in a lake to die. Ciao!"

The screen goes black and we all look at each other.

"What do we do?!"

Bronwyn says, and Cyrus sighs.

"What he said, Bronwyn. If we want Jae to survive we have to. Drake and Georgia go to the prison on Thursday evening and me and Bronwyn will find a way to get 10,000 dollars."

I stare at him blankly.

"And how do you expect to get that?! There's no way. And we're really going to let a whole ass killer out of jail?!"

Cyrus sighs.

"Georgia, there's always a way. And sometimes we just have to take risks."

*********

(JAE'S POV)

Ian places the camera down, walking back over to crouch down in front of me.

He reaches up, slowly dragging the gag from my mouth.

"Look at you...you look great!"

I glare at him.

"I guess being beaten up looks good now? But then again...what should I expect from someone like you?"

He grins.

"Nothing less, smartass. But really...those bruises under your eyes bring out the blue. Have you ever considered dying your hair black?"

"No?"

He gives me a once over before smiling at me.

"You'd look better."

I roll my eyes as he stands up, walking away to a different corner.

"Thanks a lot. But are you really going to let me go? Like seriously?"

He turns back around, cocking his head to the side.

"What do you think, Sherlock?"

I sigh, trying once again to yank my hands free from the restraints.

"You really think they're going to be able to get 10,000 dollars, princess?"

I give him a look.

"I have no idea. Just like I have no idea why you want it. What was the reason? To kidnapping me? To your younger brother killing so many people?! For what?"

Ian shrugs.

"You'll have to ask him about that one, love."

"Well you must know something, Ian. Why else would you fucking do this?! Unless you're just as mentally screwed up as he is."

Ian's eyes flash with anger as he advances towards me, grabbing me by the throat.

"You know, Williams? I hate motherfuckers who can't mind their own business."

"I-I'm sorry—please—I-I can't breathe!"

Ian releases me, narrowing his eyes.

"Next time you're going to have to beg for your life, Jae. Don't mess with me or next time I won't hesitate to crush your windpipe."

I struggle to get in my breath, watching as he takes more of that weird drug into the needle.

"I'm going to need you asleep for much longer this time. Goodnight, darling."

I let out a scream as he injects the thing into my neck, slumping immediately against the chair as he starts laughing.

33 HOURS LATER...

Thursday, December 3rd, 2020. 7am.

"Wakey, wakey, babes!"

My eyes flutter open at a comforting voice, seeing a tall man with dark hair and bright eyes.

My lips stretch in a smile and I yawn.

"Hello..."

"You're still a little on the drug, aren't you? I'll get you some water, princess."

He disappears and my eyebrows furrow, the world focusing in and out as I stare straight ahead.

My head starts pounding, a pain piercing through my skull.

"Ugh..."

The man who's name I cannot seem to remember comes back, uncuffing my hands before giving me the water with a grin.

"Drink up, princess."

I look up at him, my eyebrows furrowing as he begins contort in my now blurry vision.

"It'll only hurt for a second!"

"Drink this, babes."

"You'll be so numb you won't even feel it, Jae. Promise."

"These help you."

Needles. Empty needles.

What was that...?

He was holding a container...it read...

LSD.

I'm hallucinating.

I shake my head rapidly, clamping my eyes shut.

I bring my hand to my forehead, letting out a groan.

"What did you...what did you do to me?"

"Shh...you're okay. Listen here...you're going to come with me, okay? It's time to go."

He then unclamps the restraints on my ankles, helping me up.

"Take that with you. We're going to Zero Extreme."

My head begins to clear up slightly, and I stare up at him.

"A club?! Why are you bringing me to a club?"

"We're going to get Alan and that 10,000 dollars. Then we're going to leave and never come back, princess."

********

TWO HOURS EARLIER...

5:00 AM.

"Inmate? Come with us."

I rub my head, glaring at the woman.

"What the fuck is it, Shannon?!"

She rolls her eyes.

"You'd know if you got your lazy ass up. Come on!"

I roll my eyes, standing up as she opens the cell door.

I follow Shitty Shannon down the hall, and she brings me towards the front of the prison.

"Umm...where the fuck are we going?"

She looks at me blankly.

"Out of prison. In the hands of the police you've been released, Mr. Thomas."

My eye twitches and I begin laughing.

"Ahh...this must be a joke, Shan."

She shakes her head.

"No. It isn't. Now get your ass moving."

I grin as I walk past her, winking.

"I like your fierce side, darling. Keep it up."

She grimaces, opening a door to which I see two people who were at the park a few nights ago.

Shannon walks past me, shaking the man and the woman's hand.

"Agent Woolley. Agent Black. It's a surprise to see you here early. And even more of a surprise that this young man is being let go."

The woman grimaces.

"Not our best choice. Trust me."

She takes the paperwork from Shannon, and the man grabs my arm.

"You better not try anything, Thomas."

I snort.

"Ahh...as an FBI agent I thought you'd be smarter. You think I can try anything with these fuckers on my wrists?"

I hold up my hands, cuffs dangling from them.

"That's what I thought, Agent Black. I ain't a contortionist."

The man rolls his eyes and the woman gives Shannon the paperwork as she releases the cuffs from my wrists.

"Ahh...I'm free!"

Shannon gives both agents a worried look before sighing.

"Have a good day...and keep that guy on close watch. Seriously. He might try and kill someone."

I hiss at her.

"I'll kill you if you don't shut your trap, bitch!"

"Woah, woah, woah. Calm down."

The man takes my arm, nodding at Shannon before dragging me backwards and out of the prison.

The woman trails behind us, and I cock my head to the side.

"What's bothering ya, chica?"

She rolls her eyes.

"You. And your damn brother. Why'd you have to take her?! Why'd you take my Jae?!"

I grin.

"That's what it's about. My cherry."

"She isn't yours! She wouldn't scheme with you! She wouldn't!"

I make a mock frown.

"She already has, Woolley. Tell me...what's your real name?"

"I'm not telling you a damn thing, Thomas."

I grin.

"Ahh, too bad. I already know! Georgia, isn't it? I was born in Georgia, you know. I'm Italian and American. Bet you didn't know that."

She grimaces.

"Please stop talking. You're bothering me."

"Oh come on, Gigi. We're just having a nice, pleasant—"

"Learn to shut up, Thomas."

I look behind me.

"Shut your bitch ass up, Derek."

"My name's not Derek, Thomas. Leave the woman alone."

I roll my eyes, before yawning.

"Guys...it's 5 in the morning. Wanna explain what In hell's name you're doing before I make a run for it?"

"We need to take you to a club. You're brother's insisting on it."

I grin.

"Oh really? I'm excited."

********

(JAE'S POV)

Ian and I drive over to Zero Extreme, and I rub my head.

"I feel like absolute shit. And I don't forgive you for drugging me, Thomas."

I see his grin from the corner of my eye.

"I didn't ask for your forgiveness, princess. I don't give a damn about what you think of me. As long as you know who's name to scream at night."

I glare at him.

"You're a disgusting pig. Seriously. You and your brother both. Besides...where even is that piece of shit?!"

Ian smiles as we pull into the back lot of the club, seeing my team members and Alan in normal clothes waving with a large smirk.

"Right there, Williams."
