A Friend in Need

"Glynda, just what are you doing here?" I looked over to see the order witch step through the door.

"Well if you must know I came in through the front door."

"Glynda you know what I mean."

"You were unconscious. Your barriers had dissolved. I've set up my own barriers, so don't worry too much"

"How did I get here?"

"I carried you; you weigh a lot more than you look."

"Shut up," I scoffed at her words.

"Judging from the state of this place, I take it things went well with our mutual friend."

"Yeah sure 'friend'. The ice witch won't be bothering anyone for a while. She's got a hole through her chest and a missing arm"

"I see, that should keep her off you for at least several months"

"Hate to say it but you were right, in a way."

"What do you mean?" I watched as Glynda's face turned serious.
