Chapter 7 : At Disadvantage

[_Each student was instructed to move on the next area to begin the second trial.

Looking at the place, we can see that are enough dummies for each student to be their target.

There's also other instructor that was going to supervising the situation .

After some time, Kauz-Sensei arrived at the scene. And being in front of all the student._]

"All right, everyone is here. So, I will briefly explain the situation. First, as you all can see, there's just dummies that have set a few meter in front of your spot. What's you gonna do is attack that thing and we will analyze your power. Simple right?.

In case of anything bad gonna happen, we have the instructor beside me that will help. Remember! You are not allowed to attack other student or you will be disqualified immediately. So without further delay, we will begin the second trial now!"

[_With that, the second trial begin....

All the student have take their spot and began to launch their attack.

Some student began to attack their dummies like it's normal but there are some who struggle to do that.

Suddenly, in the middle of that. There's one student being so outstanding from the other. Then they start paying their attention to that person. Who is that?_]

"Hey look at that, isn't that Prince Arisu?"

"Yea, you're right. Just looking at him make me amaze"

[_With the cold gaze Arisu give, he began his attack immediately.

Without any necessary, he just take one step forward with his feet and suddenly and icicle wave come from the tip of his feet. With that, the dummies that suppose to be in front of him a second ago getting destroyed after being pierced by the icicle wave that he cast before. The other student shocked for what has happen. He just cast that great attack like it was nothing to him and destroy that dummies in a blink of eye._]

"As expected from royalty. He make us look like a pebble obstacle to him" say one student as he amaze by Arisu attack.

[_Then_]

???:"Don't just look at him, look at me too!"

[_And then, all the student that was suppose to look at Prince Arisu begin to redirecting their view to that voice. After finding that source of sound, they find out that the one who say that is what they expected .

Afiwiy Drasil, he's one of the noble that come from the branch family of Royalty of Luxonia which means that he was a niece of Prince Arisu.

Giving his appearance, an orange hair boy with an eustatic looking make him recognizable among the other even before entering the academy ._]

Drasil:" I will begin"

[_Drasil then began to cast his magic by exposing his palm to the dummies. Not long after, a sphere of fire being condensed and he release it toward the dummies._]

"Take this, Ancient Fire Magic: Fireballlll!"_Drasil cast his magic,,

[_Being hit by the enormous fireball, the dummies vanish that even nothing was left at the scene. The surrounding of the dummies also being burn by that ferocious and powerful attack.

Other student was to stunned to speak after witness that._]

Drasil:"Now you! Show me your power!" As he pointing his finger directly toward Nazuo

Nazuo:"!"

[_After looking at the Arisu and Drasil, Nazuo don't think that he can do any better. Nazuo being in silenced for a moment...._]

Drasil:"Don't make me wait, I wanna watch you attack that thing!"

[_Nazuo then take his form to attack. He try to think of projectile attack magic to destroy the dummies. But he can't think of anything that will work. That's because his magic attribute is not for something that can directly attack the target.

But, Nazuo try to do something. He then cast his magic by closing his palm toward each other. Unexpectedly, an axe began to form after Nazuo open his hand up.

After that, he grabbed it and throw it toward the dummies...

Unfortunately, no damage was given to that dummies , not even scratch was left . After all of that effort there was nothing.

Being disappointed at the result, Nazuo becoming to look sad..._]

Drasil:"Come on bro, I know you can do more better than that."

Nazuo:"----"

Drasil:"Let me give you an advice, in this life you must not hold back on doing something. If you start doing something, you must do it with confident. Don't ever give up, that will just waste your time. Just trust in yourself more and hope will start to trust you too!"

[_After hearing that advice, Nazuo finally realized what mistake that he has done.

He always priorities other people happiness than himself. In addition, he never once think that he can be useful to others. That's the reason that make him not trusting on his capabilities.

So now he thought..._]

"You're right"_as Nazuo respond,,

'I get this chance on restart my living, but what's the hell I'm doing right now. This is going to be nowhere if I keep this up.'_as Nazuo thinking,,

[_Nazuo then slap his cheek with both of his hand slowly to be awake for the reality._]

"I must think a way....."

{-After a while, Nazuo get an idea .

Nazuo then take his form again and start focusing on his palm. He try to condensed all of his Mana on one place. He hardly try it but it was to hard to do it. But Nazuo have trust on himself ,so he keep focusing on doing it again. Luckily, a sphere of condensed mana began to form on his palm.

Without further ado, Nazuo throw it with all his might toward the dummies.

The sphere of condensed mana then travel through a distance and hit the dummies.

Boom

Getting hit by that attack, the dummies head falling off to the ground_]

Nazuo:"YESSSSS"

Kauz-Sensei: " TIME UP!"

[_All of the student there being shocked with that unexpected announcement._]

"Kauz-Sensei, you never tell us that there are time limit for this trial"

"Yea, some of us even not begin the attack on the dummies yet"

"How is this fair, Kauz-Sensei"

[_Some student began to complain on the instructor for not telling the rule truthfully.

Then,

The situation become worst as the student become panicking because some of them dummies are not damage enough.._]

Kauz-Sensei:"SO? DO YOU EXPECT AN ENEMY WILL GIVE YOU A TIME"

"--------"_being shocked by the reality of that word, the crowd that being just loud before now was to stunned to speak,,

Kauz-Sensei:"THIS TRIAL IS MAKE NOT FOR FUN YOU KNOW!, WE ALWAYS ENSURE OUR STUDENT CAPABILITIES ON PROTECT THEMSELF BEFORE THE OTHERS. IF YOU BRING YOUR IGNORANCE TOWARD DANGER ON THE BATTLEFIELD, NOT EVEN A SECOND AFTER YOU WILL DIE!"

[_Regained his calm, Kauz Sensei finally talk smoother_]

Kauz-Sensei:"I'm sorry for my rudeness, but I request that all the student I will mention now because their dummies not being damage enough to leave this academy now! You're disqualified."

[_And then, Kauz-Sensei start to mention the name of student that are going to be disqualified.

Among 50 student that was participate on the trial, 20 was disqualified.

Luckily, Nazuo success to march on the next trial.

After that, Drasil approach Nazuo_]

Drasil:"Congratulations to you, I know you can do this"

Nazuo:"Thanks you are amazing too, also are you Afiwiy Drasil the one who got the second place on Mana Scaling?"

Drasil:"You're right, man. By the way what's your name hihi"

Nazuo:"Nazuo, Hanz Nazuo. Afiwiy-Sama"

Drasil:"Drop with that calling, just called me Drasil and we are good to go Hanazu."

Nazuo:"Hanazu, you're calling me that?"

Drasil:"I kinda like it you know, hehe"_giggles Drasil,,

Hanazu:"Then it's up to you haha"
