Chapter 4

[Time Skip: Five years]

The full moon shined bright up above the Clover Kingdom and illuminated the village at the far edge of Nowhere and within a room the house of the village chief of this very, two kids could be seen sleeping soundly in their bed.

The first and most noticeable among the two sleeping kids is a young boy with slightly paled skin and shoulder-length hair that is in a very messy manner due to him sleeping.

The other kid is girl, a very cute girl with silver hair of the same hair length as the young body and she had her small hands tightly wrapped around the arms of her older brother.

These two kids, as you might have already guessed are none other than Lucifer and Charlotte.

It has been exactly five years since Charlotte was born and five and half years since Lucifer was born and life has been very smooth sailing for the family and that especially goes for both Charlotte and Lucifer.

During the past years, Lucifer despite knowing the level of power that he has due to his lineage never really indulged himself like most reincarnators do and instead spent time with his family and made many cherishing memories with his little sister however he did learn how to control the massive amount of mana that he possesses in order to not be like a certain silver-haired girl or a certain blonde with a fox and in doing so, Lucifer discovered his magic attribute and it surprised him and his parents greatly.

You see, unlike mana that exists in nature, the mana that is situated within mages has a specific nature to it, known as an attribute.

These attributes are one of the aspects that differentiate one mage from another. The attribute that a mage possesses is the one that they are born with.

There are four major elements in the world: fire, water, wind, and earth. All other magical attributes are derived from these four. For example, Smoke Magic is a branch of the wind attribute, and ice from the water attribute. Over the centuries, some cultures have developed unnatural or irregular magic attributes, like chain, steel, spatial, and time.

Some magic attributes are very common, such as fire and water, whereas some other magic attributes are exceptionally rare, such as light and space.

Most mages are born with only one magic attribute and so are normally unable to use the magic of any other attribute. While the average mage cannot use multiple attributes, there is nothing stopping them from using their own attribute to perform different forms of magic, such as wind-based Creation Magic or fire-based Healing Magic. The average mage normally only uses one or two forms of magic, but incredibly powerful mages can use multiple magic forms without a problem.

Furthermore, mages can have different latent abilities corresponding to the element from which their attribute is derived. One example would be mages with an affinity towards wind-based elements having the latent ability of mana sensory. This resulted from those mages having a higher sensitivity towards the flow of mana.

And while it is a fundamental law that a person can be born with only one innate magic attribute and in some rare cases being born with two if the mage is a hybrid, Lucifer on the other hand is a freak of nature who neither possesses one or two magic affinity but six.

Yes, you heard right. Lucifer possesses six magic attributes and among these six, four of them are some of the rarest and most unique magic affinity which is [Darkness], [Light] [Gravity] and [Time] while the remaining two are [Fire] and [Lightning].

Although this discovery shocked Lucifer, he only discovered four of them at that time and later discovered his [Gravity] magic when he accidentally used it like some kind of telekinesis to lift himself up into the air.

This made him very excited as this meant that he would have a very heavy arsenal and considering the number of animes and other fiction works that utilize elemental attacks like the many magic worlds that he knows about.

Anyway, that is everything that Lucifer experienced during his five years since his reincarnation.

WOOSH!!

The time went by as Lucifer and Charlotte slept on their bed when suddenly, the wind current in the room started to get stronger than normal and lifted Lucifer up from his bed.

Lucifer feeling the sudden loss of the feeling that he was getting from the bed suddenly opened his eyes and saw himself floating a few weeks above his bed.

'Huh?! What's going on, what's happening to me?!'

THUD!

[DING!...]

Lucifer thought to himself in surprise and then started looking around in caution however the wind surrounding him suddenly disappeared and his body fell back on the bed. Lucifer then heard a sudden alart going off in his mind.

'This sound, it's finally here.'

[DING! System activation requirements have been successfully met]

[DING! System initiating a reboot...]

[DING! The system has successfully rebooted. Welcome to the System, master. I am a personal artificial intelligence built with the system to operate all its functions and serve the master to my utmost limit]

"Hell Yeah! Oops... System, can you instruct me on your functions?"

Lucifer almost jumped up in the air due to excitement however he suddenly remembered that Charlotte was sleeping by his side so he control himself and asked the system for it function in a very quiet tone.

[DING! I request the host to give me a name as I currently don't have one and as for my functions, I have all the basic functions of a system and they are as follows;

[Status: Status: A common function that displays the strength, speed, agility, endurance and senses along with Ki energy of the host in numeric form]

[Stats] = Numbers representing his strengths, they can be increased with stat points,

[Strength]: Increases physical strength and durability by bettering the user's muscles.

[Speed]: Increases the user's movement speed, reflexes, perception of time and thought speed, allowing them to see enemies on the user's level in slow motion.

[Endurance]: Increases user's health, resistance to status effects and longevity.

[Sense]: Increases the 5 senses. The more point this stat has, the powerful the senses are to the point that the user can hear other's heartbeat and the sound of cameras from tens of meters away, see in the dark as if it was the day, smell as well as canines and likely many more. Also gives a sixth sense that allows one to detect others' life energy and curse energy, to the point that you could fight someone who was invisible, soundless and had no smell. Can also feel emotions like bloodlust.

[Intelligence]: increases the mental capabilities of the user, and strengthens the mental focus along with the host Magic talent.

[Levels]: After killing enemies, as long as not too weak compared to the master, he gains experience. With enough experience, the host gains a level which increases all of the master's stats by 2, as well as giving him 5 extra stat points to spend as he wishes. Each level also increases the host mana level by 1,000.

[Analysis: A function of the system that scans and analyzes anything that the host wishes it however there are limitations applied to it.]

[Map: A common function that displays a map of 100 miles radius of everything surrounding the host]

[Unlimited Inventory: A dimensional storage capable of holding items. Items can automatically be teleported to the host whenever he stores them with the inventory.]

[Shop: A shop where he can sell items obtained from slain enemies and gained by the master for gold, and buy several items like healing potions, mana potions, weapons, armor and several others from many worlds. Items obtained this way cannot be traded (disappear once given to someone else) but can still be used if not held by the other (pouring a potion down someone's throat)]

[Item equipment: Can "equip" an item without the master actually wearing it, gaining all the effects it would have ]

[Auto-Translation: Translates the language others talk and the master can understand and vice-versa.]

[Quests: Under certain events, the host will gain a quest detailing objectives to achieve. If achieved, the host can gain rewards. If failed, the host will receive a penalty. There are two types of quests namely [Daily Quest: Power]{ A daily quest, the master has to do 100 push-ups, sit-ups, squats and run 10 miles within the day the quest is assigned. The rewards are a random item box (Creates a random junk item, like pens and umbrellas.) and a full fatigue recovery ticket (Can be used whenever the master wishes). The lady quest is the normal quest with various rewards.]

[Hunting/ Training Ground: An endless realm endlessly filled with dangerous magical and mystical beasts that can be used for train or gaining experience in the field of battle and equipment.]{Only the master has access to this realm and only he can grant access to other people.}

[Daily Sign-in Function: A unique function of the system that signs in once every day and grants the host random rewards that range from items, skills and many things.]
