"Siesta?"
Ordell was reasonably surprised to find the beautiful maid he just met in the centre of the circle along with the already annoying Guiche with whom he had yet to converse. He appeared quite mad yet still managed to come off as someone with way too much ego.
Both Louise and Ordell couldn't help from raising an eyebrow when Guiche began pointing his rose wand at the very surprised and intimidated maid. The poor girl looked like she had no idea why was being chastised!
"Hey, what's going on?" the male familiar took the initiative to get some information, asking a random student that was standing nearby what had happened that led to this confrontation.
However, that student would not get the chance to answer as Kirche suddenly appeared by Ordell's side. Much to Louise's anger and jealousy, the busty Germanian beauty basically placed the upper part of Ordell's arm between her boobs. She was coming onto him, the curvy whore!
"Oh, nothing that out of the ordinary I'm afraid, honey~"
"Honey?!" but Louise was promptly ignored by the busty red-head, only Ordell sweatdropping lightly at his master's growing fury.
"Guiche does have a habit of two-timing, the poor maid seemed to unintentionally give the other girl he was seeing directions. I'm sure you can piece the rest together."
Louise didn't know if Kirche's sorry tone was real or if it was all just mockery, but quite frankly, she was far too fucking mad at the curvy woman for coming onto HER familiar! How dare this bitch?! Ordell was HER familiar, HER summon and HER partner! Kirche shouldn't so much as think about touching him without her permission!
Unfortunately for Kirche, Ordell was far too busy trying to analyze the situation to be particularly bothered by her big mommy milkers. Well... he did make sure to burn the soft and squishy feeling into his brain but didn't outwardly react to the gesture.
"U-Um, I'm afraid I don't q-quite understand. Miss Katie had only asked me for-"
"Quiet! You, a servant and a commoner, how dare you insult an aristocrat?!"
Ordell rose an eyebrow at the blonde man's words, Guiche all but looked desperate to save face, but the male familiar spirit missed how that can be accomplished by taking his anger out on poor Siesta. Truly, the act seemed nothing more than a way for Guiche to beat his anger out on someone, and Ordell had found Siesta too much of a sweetheart to take the brunt of his wrath alone.
Ordell didn't know much about this world, he knew that there are two major social status quos. The commoners, people that can't do magic, and nobles, people that CAN do magic. It's a dumb but quite simple way to divide the population into two groups. Siesta was one of the unfortunate servants, a commoner, and as such, she had practically no rights against a noble.
Louise grit her teeth as she stood on Ordell's right side, Kirche hugging the man's left arm and shooting Louise a few smug glances. The pinkette was just about ready to whip her wand out and blow that bitch up to kingdom come when she suddenly felt the light but still considerable weight of someone's hand on her head.
"Master?"
"Y-Yeah...?"
"What would be the implications for a noble should they... suffer a loss against a, let's say, familiar?"
The two women caught on pretty much immediately, but only Kirche lightly laughed under her breath at what the handsome and tall man was suggesting. Louise only stared at Ordell with a wide mouth, barely able to compute the implications of such actions. But her response was far too slow as Ordell moved his hand from patting Louise's head to one of his white trench coat's pockets.
His other hand, which was previously in Kirche's grasp was yanked from between her large titties. But, Ordell did not place it into his pocket, he just kept it at the side of his hip. It took Ordell to take a single step toward the conflict between the maid and the noble for Louise to get back her voice.
"W-Wait! Stop it Ordell! Don't take another step! You can't-"
"Ah, I'm sorry master..." the male put his other hand into his pocket and turned his head to the side, gazing sideways at his distressed master, "But I cannot follow your command this time."
Shocking for Louise, Ordell was unwilling to follow her commands at the moment. It was by choice, but the number of choices was extremely limited. He could just let Siesta take the brunt of Guiche's anger, but he didn't want to think of what would happen to the poor maid. The egoistic behaviour of nobles didn't spell good things for commoners who got in their way, and Ordell viewed Siesta as someone far too nice for his soft heart to allow getting whipped or even worse.
Ordell was unaware that his actions unintentionally planted a seed of doubt into Louise's heart, and the poor girl would need an urgent talk with him after this is over. But that was something for future Ordell to deal with, the current Ordell has already enough on his plate as is.
And while Louise viewed Ordell's upcoming actions with distress, shock and slight betrayal, Kirche was anything but not interested! The beautiful Germanian girl wanted to see just what this nonhuman, handsome familiar was made out of. Not the best way to get that information, but at least Guiche would take some heat for it. The guy started to get on her nerves...
"Hiya buddy!"
Guiche jumped slightly when he suddenly felt a weight on his back and a voice on his left. Anyone couldn't hold back the gasps from coming out when Ordell had appeared out of seemingly nowhere right by Guiche's side, his hand hanging around the guy's neck, pulling him into a one-sided "bro hug".
Guiche was so surprised that he almost didn't register the same male pocking him in the face with his index finger, a rather dangerous calm smile appearing on his otherwise handsome visage.
"Hey there buddy chum pal friend buddy pal chum bud friend fella bruther amigo pal buddy friend chummy chum chum pal I don't mean to be rude my friend pal home slice bread slice dawg but I gotta warn ya if u take one more diddly darn step right there I'm going to have to diddly darn snap ur neck."
The words left Ordell's mouth at Mach speed, they were uttered so quickly that Guiche and the rest of the crowd could hardly understand him. It wasn't so much about hearing what he said as it was about understanding what he meant, as most of the words Ordell used sounded like gibberish.
Guiche's brain could not comprehend the sheer scope of Ordell's genius, or maybe Ordell was just a madman. The latter most likely not being far from the truth as he is a creature given form by the will of The Madness.
"...What are you-"
"Oh hello there Siesta~!" but Ordell had only chosen to interrupt and ignore Guiche, moving away from him immediately after he opened his mouth and this time doing the same "bro hug" he did on Guiche with Siesta.
The girl blushed at the closeness but remained mostly confused and perplexed by the male familiar's actions, "M-Mister Ordell?! What are-"
"Now, now, just Ordell is fine! What am I doing? Returning the favour~" the girl grew more perplexed as Ordell patted her head.
"For what?"
"For making me learn something new about my master!"
...Siesta couldn't stop herself from gawking lightly as a metaphorical lightbulb appeared above her head. A memory played out in her mind as she mentioned the tea that Louise might like, as well as her favourite dessert.
"Wha-"
"Well then!" it appeared that today is the day that Ordell interrupts everyone as he once again butted in just as the besto maido was about to speak.
He pinched Siesta's cheek and patted her head again before scurrying her off to the side, "Shoo~ Big boys are talking now!"
The maid gave Ordell one last perplexed but nonetheless thankful look and scurried into the crowd, managing to end up beside Louise and Kirche by sheer luck. Guiche meanwhile looked about ready to explode with a throbbing vein on his neck, but, through sheer will, he managed to suppress the profanities that threatened to spill from his mouth.
"Well, if it ain't Louise The Zero's familiar!"
Ordell blinked at the derogatory nickname the male and the rest of the student body had given his master before fighting back the instinct to... resort to more... gruesome means of silencing the crowd.
"Well, that's not very nice of you, pimp."
"Pimp?! Who are you calling a pimp?!" despite not actually knowing what the word means, Guiche instinctively took offence to it, pointing his rose wand directly at the trenchcoat-wearing man who only kept up his smiley face.
"You, Mister I-Can't-Keep-My-Pinkie-In-My-Pants!"
Louise grew paler and paler with each and every word that came from Ordell's mouth. Gone was the gentlemanly playboy that could make her heart beat a million times a second. Now, only a loudmouth remained, yet he still somehow managed to keep some of that mysterious charm to himself.
She knew that she knew Ordell for far too little to have a grip on his personality, but he seemed a lot more... unhinged than what she had imagined him to be... Was it because... of the nickname they gave her? W-Was Ordell angry in her stead?!
...Okay, never mind, that suave charm never left.
"PINKIE?!"
Kirche was all but laughing loudly at the show of humiliation that Ordell was bombarding Guiche with, other students sharing her sentiment in chuckling or outright laughing at the embarrassed male.
"YOU!"
"Me."
"I CHALLENGE YOU TO A DUEL!"
"k."
"I WILL NOT ALLOW SOME SERVANT, A FAMILIAR EVEN, TO INSULT MY MANHOOD!"
"I would never stoop so low as to insult another man's manhood, however nonexistent it may be," Ordell proclaimed very proudly, even putting one of his hands on his chest and closing his eyes. but this only agitated Guiche further.
With no way to win a verbal battle with Ordell directly, Guiche played it off with a huff. He suppressed his anger as much as he could, but that damn vein on his neck just didn't want to disappear. Now, instead of insulting Ordell directly, he scoffed and ran a hand through his blonde locks.
"As expected of you, Louise The Zero! Zero talent, zero manners, and zero control over your own familiar!"
It went unnoticed by anyone, but Ordell's hands tightened into a claw-like grip, veins appearing across his palms as one of his crimson eyes twitched for a split second. After that, Guiche had majestically waved his hand in Ordell's general direction before turning to walk off.
"Prepare yourself, FAMILIAR. I'll be waiting at the Vestori Square!"
Ordell watched as Guiche had swaggered away, probably walking in the direction of the aforementioned location with most of the crowd following him. He stared at Guiche's disappearing figure for a few more seconds, his expression growing stone-cold whilst remaining technically the same.
