Bioweapon's Cultivation

A soul has been transmigrated with memories of their previous life into a world where cultivation is done through a system. Yet before they could even take a step, they were killed by a regular old fire-breathing wolf. What would you expect? And as they died yet again, their soul was trapped inside a Lotus Flower. "What now?" They thought as they floated around their pretty 12-petaled prison, not knowing what else was trapped in the Lotus besides them. Unable to die or reincarnate with their soul stuck in a flower. All that's left is to wait... and wait... and wait... ... Sooner or later, they grew tired of waiting. With no idea that a System even exists and not even possessing any sort of body, how will an average girl who makes a few too many references even become a 'Bioweapon'? Come see how the Strongest Living Bioweapon in this particular Universe grew into something legends would speak wonders about for aeons. The Goddess of Curses and Rot will ascend. ... Caution: I'm not planning on having any romance. I am planning on having action. The previously mentioned 'action' might get a little crazy insano style, or at least that is the plan. This story is connected to my other book World of Reincarnators, I will not be spoiling in what way. Enjoy. (The book cover is not mine, contact me if you want me to take it down.)

This is a Far Cry From Being a Princess

[Just saying: the synopsis has been updated. Check it out if you'd like.]

Floating above a group of sprinting people all dressed in dark grey who were in the middle of crossing a dense grassland covered in waist-tall grass, Kumi looked at the castle in the distance and the large amount of smoke rising from it.

'Can't believe these guys had such a sad farewell scene with a secret pyromaniac.'

She giggled at her own joke (in her head).

And looked down at the group.

'Too soon?'

As the group reached the edge of a forest they stopped just beyond the trees to have a final glance at the place they had just escaped from.

The group seemed slightly distressed.

'You know,'

Kumi suddenly had a thought.

'the guy didn't really need to go and set the place on fire, did he? I mean the people understood that they had been robbed but the group could have just continued their escape.

Or maybe I missed something? Still don't have a great grasp on the language here.'

Not knowing that if the man had not made that sacrifice, the group would have been caught, Kumi just pushed the thought aside while focusing back on the situation she found herself in.

'So they escaped with me in tow. I guess I ain't going to be growing up like a princess. Maybe a poor assassin at most.'

Saying she was a bit disappointed would be a large understatement.

Kumi, trying to get over the fact that she would have been disgustingly rich had she stayed, neared the suitcase that had the flask with her body inside of it.

'I've given the body a good amount of time to grow. Let's see how much of my soul fits inside now.'

Reaching her hand toward the briefcase, her remaining fingers slipped past the solid material and reached the flask.

And in a moment, Kumi was hit with a large amount of pain as her entire arm had been absorbed and her body turned more seethrough.

'Oww!!'

She winced as she held her shoulder which her arm was supposed to be attached to.

'Damn! It feels like this hurts so much more than actually losing an arm.'

Slightly gritting her teeth, she soon got used to only having one arm as the pain disappeared a few minutes after losing it.

Letting out a small sigh, she became bored with the surrounding scenery of trees, grass, blue sky, fluffy clouds, angry bear attack and epic fight scene and pushed her consciousness into her body that was still inside the flask.

'It's dark. Can't see a thing, it's almost as bad as the void.'

She thought as she closed her eyes and was starting to fall asleep, something she had not done in a while.

'Ah... right. I finally got outside and immediately went to a small cramped place to sleep... eh... there's always next time. clouds shouldn't go extinct...'

After a few more minutes of weird ramblings that all happened in her head, Kumi fell asleep, she was unable to even enjoy her small amount of time outside.

She stayed asleep for 4 days. Nights included.

...

Kumi finally woke up.

Opening her eyes but still seeing nothing, she pushed her consciousness out and stretched her body (soul) while yawning.

Looking around she could only see a very fancy-looking office.

'Ooh. Did the rich people get me back?'

After a while of looking around the office, Kumi could hear someone walking to the door of the office.

The door opened and a beautiful-looking woman entered the room.

She had lime green eyes and peach pink hair.

She was dressed casually yet also in formal attire. Her clothing looked pretty comfortable.

In her hands was a rather large cup of tea.

She sat down at the desk, took out some paper and started reading.

Kumi, still slightly distracted by the woman, floated next to her and took a glance at the paper she was reading.

'Oh. I can mostly understand this. Somehow?'

She read through the paper a little faster than the woman who took a sip of tea and let out a sigh every once in a while.

'Why sigh? Didn't the mission go well? Are we reading the same paper?'

What Kumi could understand from the paper is as follows.

The mission was complete with one casualty. No significant injuries to any surviving members. Cargo has been delivered to the Boss' safe undamaged.

'Isn't that pretty good?'

Kumi thought.

'A cargo shipment was done and there was only one casualty. No one else was hurt and all the cargo has been delivered without any damage. Is the woman distressed about the 1 dead person?

What a perfectionist.'

She thought as she floated back to the place she had left previously, her flask-

'Eh. Where's my body?'

Kumi wondered as she looked around the room.

'Isn't it normally inside a display case or something similar? Did the rich people have a change of heart and hide the flask in this woman's office for some reason? Is she like strong or something?'

Kumi started to slightly panic.

'Calm down. The rich people just hid it. This is probably that one Empire where I'm supposed to grow up.'

Floating through the walls of the place, she soon left through a window only to see a group of hundreds of people all dressed in dark grey practising some fighting moves.

'Ah. This isn't an empire. This is some assassin training place.'

Kumi floated backwards back into the office with the lady moving on to the next paper in her hand.

'So the rich people couldn't save me in the end. And the 'cargo' mentioned in that paper, is it me?'

Kumi thought for a moment before accepting the situation.

'Guess I'll grow up poor, wouldn't be the first time. Besides, I technically haven't even been born yet. What good is it to stress about the future when you aren't even 0 years old?'

Thinking back to the paper, Kumi looked toward the safe in the room.

She then looked at the woman who was still sitting at her desk.

Peaking inside the safe, Kumi was now certain.

'So she's the boss?'

...

'I am the leader of the world's largest assassin guild, Death's Doorstep.

My name is Hilde.

My information team Neighbour had gotten some intel about a bioweapon in the works on the Eastern continent.

I sent my best team in there to destroy it so that they could not let it grow any more.

On the way there, we found out that the weapon hasn't even been born yet so the mission was changed to retrieve it.

On the mission, one of the oldest and best members of the guild lost their life while letting the others escape.

It took a while for them to return but thanks to a hidden base at a nearby village they were able to teleport back.

It is good that the mission was successful but the loss of a great member of the guild as well as the information about our guild committing the theft due to the corpse of one of our members staying at the scene spread around the High-Echelon of the eastern kingdoms and empires slightly outway the gains.

I must say that we might have to prepare to go to war soon.

With the entirety of the Eastern continent.'

Hilde took a glance at the small safe in her room.

'I do not think I have a choice if I want my guild to survive. Though sacrificing an unborn child... I do not know if I have the will to do it.'
