Bioweapon's Cultivation

A soul has been transmigrated with memories of their previous life into a world where cultivation is done through a system. Yet before they could even take a step, they were killed by a regular old fire-breathing wolf. What would you expect? And as they died yet again, their soul was trapped inside a Lotus Flower. "What now?" They thought as they floated around their pretty 12-petaled prison, not knowing what else was trapped in the Lotus besides them. Unable to die or reincarnate with their soul stuck in a flower. All that's left is to wait... and wait... and wait... ... Sooner or later, they grew tired of waiting. With no idea that a System even exists and not even possessing any sort of body, how will an average girl who makes a few too many references even become a 'Bioweapon'? Come see how the Strongest Living Bioweapon in this particular Universe grew into something legends would speak wonders about for aeons. The Goddess of Curses and Rot will ascend. ... Caution: I'm not planning on having any romance. I am planning on having action. The previously mentioned 'action' might get a little crazy insano style, or at least that is the plan. This story is connected to my other book World of Reincarnators, I will not be spoiling in what way. Enjoy. (The book cover is not mine, contact me if you want me to take it down.)

Little Baby Girl Escape Attempt

'Escape.'

Was the only word in Kumi's head.

Jumping up from her bed and launching herself above the door, she held on to the walls like a spider and waited for the door to open.

As the person on the other side of the door opened it, they looked around the room only to find nothing.

The maid woman slightly gasped before dashing away from the room.

'Chance!'

Kumi thought as she landed on the ground.

Looking at herself, she dusted off the patient-like garb that covered her body.

'Don't know why I want to escape but, eh. Gut feelings never lie.'

She thought as she glanced outside the room and out to the hallway.

'No one.'

She walked out of the room.

'Just in case I should avoid being found. Escaping now should be the best option, I don't want to go to war. With my Skills, I should probably be able to escape.

And if I do get found and captured there are only two things that might happen.'

She started quietly dashing down the hallway while thinking.

'Either they treat me better than they would have since they would find out about my Potential, being an infant after all.

Or I get treated harsher with some stupid over-the-top training since they think I should be able to handle it.'

Stopping at a corner she observed her surroundings, seeing no one, Kumi did not forget to check behind her.

'Free to go.'

Turning the corner, she suddenly felt something as a chill ran down her spine.

Hugging the wall, she could see an extremely bright almost blinding red light coming from the direction of the room she had just escaped from.

'Shit.'

And so, she started running again. As quietly as possible, with her bare feet not making a single noise.

'I should turn off the Passive Skills that show my location like the Pressure Skill.'

As she thought so, she opened her Attributes bubble panel with a simple 'Properties'.

Focusing on her Pressure Skill, she turned it off on her first try.

'Lucky.'

She thought with a small amount of delight.

Turning another corner, she could see maids as well as people dressed in dark grey rushing toward her location.

'Damn! I forgot to check the corners!'

Turning around, she could see an empty hallway behind her. And so she ran with the people behind her finally noticing her.

"Hey! Is that her?!"

"That's Her!! Get her or else the boss will have our heads!"

'Nope. Nope. Nope. Come on System don't fail me now.'

Turning a corner, she immediately threw herself behind a thick wall of curtains next to a large window.

Holding her breath, she waited for the group to pass her by.

And as they did, Kumi slowly started to breathe again while looking around the hall.

Seeing no one, she turned to the window and opened it.

Looking outside as the gentle yet strong wind pushed her long hair behind her, the breathtaking scene made Kumi take a second to appreciate it.

Looking down and seeing that she was on at least the third floor, she determined that if she were to use the decorations on the side of the building, she could safely make it down without a problem.

And as she was about to make a small hop and attempt just that, an ominous bright red glow appeared behind her in an instant.

'...'

Freezing in her tracks, Kumi had a bead of sweat run down her forehead.

'Shit. Well, let's just hope they treat me better after I escaped a group of assassins and maids...'

Turning around, she was greeted by an angry-looking man.

'Well isn't he charming? Scowling at a kid. Looks can kill you know?'

Gently raising her hands as a sign of defeat, the man let out a deep sigh.

"If you had left the house the boss would have killed me a few times over. You haven't even started any of your training for Heaven's Sake."

The man picked Kumi up and placed her on the floor.

"Bad girl."

The man codenamed Deadbolt wagged his finger at her while he turned and closed the window.

'I'm not a dog.'

Kicking Deadbolt in the shin, Kumi lightly dashed away with her hands to her sides as a child would.

"Ow. Oi!"

Deadbolt yelled as he watched Kumi slowly dash away as if she were playing tag.

'He can catch me at any point anyway, I'll just go back to my room. What did he even do though? Teleport?'

As she thought so, she heard a loud sigh from behind her and heavy steps following.

Taking a glance behind her, she could no longer see any red glow around the man.

As she continued running, Kumi soon arrived at the room she had woken up in.

Maids were searching the place like someone had hidden a microscopic nuclear bomb in the area.

Ignoring them, Kumi hopped on her bed.

Coincidentally, one of the other Locks, Pad was there as well.

As Kumi hopped on the bed and covered herself with a blanket, she thought.

'Best thing to do now is to rest and think of a few countermeasures just in case I have to fight any super fast guys in the future.

They wouldn't disturb a small sleeping baby child would they?'

And so she rested her head on a pillow that didn't have a child's fist-sized hole in it and pretended to sleep.

"..."

The maids and everyone else in the room were silent, the only sound present in the room being Kumi's small breaths.

"ah. there she is."

At this point, Deadbolt had entered the room.

"Let's go. Let the kid sleep and place more guards around the area. She is good at sneaking around. Make the maids check every nook when they enter the room when she isn't here as well."

At those orders, the maids in the room all nodded and left.

Deadbolt waited for Pad and as they left the room and closed the door, Kumi opened her eyes.

Yawning a little, she searched around the room.

'They didn't hide anything here. Good.'

Jumping back on her bed she started resting.

'Running around with these short legs is tough.'

On the other side of the building, however...

...

"Boss. I found her. She is currently resting in her room and I increased the number of guards in the area."

Deadbolt said as he entered the office.

Hilde let out a deep sigh.

"How did she even escape?"

"It seems like she managed to hide from the maid that was supposed to check on her today and left the room through the door."

Hilde let out another sigh.

"Where did you find her?"

"Near a window some ways away from her room.

She had snuck past a group of our members and quite a few maids while hiding behind curtains.

I found her standing in front of an open window ready to jump outside."

"From the third floor?"

"Yes. She seemed to have planned out her escape quite thoroughly. Either that or she makes a lot of smart split-second decisions."

Hilde sighed yet again.

"So she's talented?"

"Yes."

"And she is using that to try to escape?"

"Yes."

"What child tries to escape from the first person they see? Have you ever heard of a newborn try and escape from their parents the moment they are born?"

"... No."

"Call back 10% of the members currently on the Central continent. I think we will need quite a few fast members here just in case."

"I will be right on that."

"Oh, also."

"Yes, Boss?"

"What did you think of her?"

"Ah..."

Deadbolt took a moment to think.

"I can't say much. She is hard to read, acts like a child but also is strangely smart for her age. I recommend we have some of our Peephole members search for information regarding Prime Angel and Devil children since we don't know if this is normal acting for her."

"Hmm. I'll keep that in mind."

Deadbolt left the office as Hilde wiped her forehead.

'I hope it doesn't get more troublesome from here on out.'
