Chapter 3: Arifureta Universe???

My life in primary school can be described as normal. I have finished all the books in the school library and gained some fragmented knowledge about many subjects. After all, You don't expect some kind of technical knowledge to be gained inside a primary school library.

Most of the books are books until high school with some books that give some introduction toward many advanced subjects. I found some books like astronomy, mechanical, electrical, etc in this library.

BUT, remember the word 'introduction' in the description. There is nothing to really learn in these books. Most are just facts like history or common knowledge, as formula and real theory are not included in these books.

That is why I finally resort to my second plan, the Internet. Although this school has a computer room, it only has 6 computers with the old tube monitor and the big console. These 6 computers are not enough for the entire school.

But that is not the most problematic thing. Although we had a computer class since the second grade, we are not even allowed to use the computer as the school is afraid that we will break the computer. So our computer class is only a theory class for knowledge such as part of the computer, introduction to basic office applications like Microsoft word, excel or photoshop.

Since this is the case, I plan to get my own computer. How do you ask? This is something that I just realized in my fifth grade where I can go to an electronic junkyard and just try to work out with all that 'treasure'.

How did I go to this place you ask? It seems that Japanese parents give more freedom to their children as the only time my parents come to school with me is only the first day of school and I need to come home from school by walking by myself.

Of course, I can't just build a computer out of the trash as finding the component needed is not possible. Furthermore, my skills in electronics can be said to be just groping by as I just start to guess what each component is for. Thus, building one myself is a bit unrealistic.

Even though I can't build one, I can still repair some of the electronics in this junkyard. Even though people in any city will not buy my repaired electronics, this stuff is still possible to be sold to some of the villagers who don't want to fork more money for electronics like rice cooker, ironing, television, and others.

Of course, I can't escape the supervision of my parents. So I told my parents my plan and they agreed as they already long knew and thought that I am a genius. So they helped me sell it to the villagers by telling them that it is just second-hand electronics that are still in good shape.

With this, my family is able to earn money from the villagers and improve their lives rather than only getting money from farming. Finally, by the third grade, I am able to get my own computer.

My computer is not really advanced from my time or even this time as I only buy a low-end version in the market. After all, my primary use of computers is to use the internet only and not gaming.

Although I also will do some programming and maybe create some simple applications for creating my income, this doesn't take as much memory and power from the computer. Even if I want to, many famous internet companies have been established by this time like Google, Facebook, Youtube, etc since it is 2005 by the time I got my own computer.

So in the end, I only use my own computer for the internet and create some small income from programming tasks from a website on the internet that gives me some small amount of money. Although it is not as profitable as my business of selling 'second-hand goods', I can't just keep doing that as that will eventually be found out.

By the time I was 12, my parents decided to move into the city as my father got a job in a factory company. Due to the revolution last year with the invention of smartphones, many companies also try to do the same, and the need for workers increases. Of course, I finally get a smartphone after I go to middle school even though it is not an apple.

Although working in a smartphone factory sounds awesome, this type of worker is only for doing machinery in factories and some simple jobs which make my father, who is only a farmer, apply for this job. Of course, the wage is not really high but at least higher than getting money from farming.

As we moved to the city, my junior high or middle school was also located in the city. Of course, this time I applied with a scholarship to the best middle school in the city that can only usually be entered by a rich family.

Am I afraid of bullying because of different classes? No! My brain and soul are already synchronised and mature early as although I am a 12 years old child, the inside is a mature adult. Bullying and the like will not happen to me as I already read a lots of this stuff in anime, novel and manga.

Threats of photo or video? hack into their computer. Physical abuse? run to the teacher lounge and make a recording. Not only is this able to make the bullying students scared, it will also make the teacher scared as the reputation in school is at stake.

If news like 'a teacher just watched as a student got bullied in the teacher lounge at school' comes out, what do you think will happen?

Of course, you can't just add my age in a past life with my current age like 18 + 12 = 30. After all, I don't have any adult experience such as going to university, getting a job, or any 18+ thing. So my thought is still maximized probably at an 18 to 20 years old mindset.

With new schools comes a new friend which shocks me to the core. I finally knew where I was reincarnated. With the knowledge of what world or universe I am in, I flew into ecstasy as I keep on dreaming about the future that has not yet happened.

By the way, my friend's name is Endou Kousuke, or the one that will be called abyssgate in the future. With this character, I think you know where this is going? Right! Looks like I was reincarnated in Arifureta.

Besides Kousuke, I also find Nagayama Jugo and some members of the hero party in the future. Although main characters like Hajime, Kaori, Kouki, and others will probably move here in the future as I also found the loli teacher in this school although she is not my homeroom teacher.

With Kousuke and Jugo, we found our common point 'anime'. The anime of this time is not as much as in the 20' and even famous stories like Naruto, dragon balls, and some Gundam series are not yet finished. Although I rarely watch anime in this life as I only watch them for memories, I still know the plot and even 'spoiler' since I can say to a certain extent I come back to the past from 2025.

So we often discuss this 'anime' in our free time and I know from both of my friends that they contact the second-grade syndrome virus 'chuunibyou' early. Well, I can't help that, after I know that I am in Arifureta I also can feel that something within me is rising and it is not the shield hero!

Ahem… back to the topic. Since I know what will happen in the future, I prepare a lot in middle school. Things like learning martial arts that I thought useless for my conquest of technology are now on the to-do list along with skills such as survival knowledge and others.

If I am not wrong, I remember that by the time I am in my second year of high school the class isekai will happen. By that time, we will be transported to Tortus and need to face that crazy God with the name Shit or Ehit if I am not wrong again. After all, it's been a long time since I remember this story and I don't even read many of the after stories as it is still ongoing in my time.

As time gets closer to my high school, I keep on pondering what my [class] will be. Not the school classroom but, job class like in a game. The original character of my body when I finally realized his identity is a [Geomancer] that is only shown in the novel and not even in manga or anime. Poor me...

Although I am a Geomancer in the original timeline, I am not sure if my arrival brings some butterfly effect that might change it to both good and bad. So for these 3 years, I tried to limit my action and hope for the best that I don't get the class [Hero] as I remember class is somehow associated with personality and traits.

After all, If I got [Hero] because I save someone or have a heroic personality I will be dead. There is no way I can escape the surveillance of that pervert 'God'. I will just hope for the best as I wait for the destined event.
