Chapter 9

Danny kissed his brother and Johnny hello then gave Tom a little wave. “Robbie, this is my brother Caden and his husband, Johnny, and Tom Martino, the Director of Security at Indiscreet.”

“The flowers are from the sub club. The tulips are from Tom.”

Johnny gave Tom a strange look. Tom shrugged his shoulders. “Bear and Brian will be here at midnight,” Tom told them. “Jim is scheduled at the club.”

“What brings you along, Tom?” Danny asked with curiosity. The nurse’s aide that Johnny hired had stayed the night. He went out to the nurse’s station to get a vase in which to put the tulips before he left for the day.

“I thought I would see who it was that had the sub club in an uproar. Jim also said you needed the services of one of our investigators. I figured I’d come on over here and see what you needed before you went home, and offer my help if anything else needs to be done,” Tom answered readily.
