The moment Mia heard the car horn of her boss she ran downstairs as she feared what he would do if anything goes wrong or if anything looks wrong in any way.

"He is coming!" She yelled and every immediately took their places by sitting down in their various office spaces and doing one thing or another.

Mia opened the door and he immediately walked in with a frown on his face and when everything seemed to be going just fine a sudden explosion was heard upstairs and marbles began to fall off the hallway.

One look from him made her run up to see what was going on, that too at a very bad timing. Working in 'HT Fashionista was one of her biggest nightmares and though she loved the work all but her boss was someone who could literally make you hate life.

Hayes Tates was a man in his late twenties but didn't give a damn about anyone or anything but when things weren't perfect he was just like the devil straight out of hell.

He picked a napkin from the receptionist and held the stairs handle while walking upstairs, completely skipping the marbles to see what had happened himself.

The janitor shivered in fear knowing that his job was at risk if Hayes was to see any dirt on that napkin and the moment he lifted the napkin it was extremely dirty.

"Collin!" His voice rang like bells in the company as he called the janitor's name.

"Yes sir." he answered immediately.

"Get your things out of here!" He declared and the janitor knew he was gone for good.

"Sir..." He tried to beg for forgiveness but one look from Hayes shut his mouth up immediately.

Hayes continued to walk with his arms crossed behind him and Mia walked out of a cabin looking drenched and he raised an eyebrow at her.

"The pipe is leaking and any minute from now... That will happen." she pointed towards the flowing water.

He looked at his bodyguard and he already knew what to do before he looked at Mia from head to toe as he was completely getting irritated by her looks and colors draining from her clothes made it worse.

Hayes's sense of fashion and definition of beauty was beyond amazing but one thing he hated was seeing colors draining out of fabrics and his employees or anyone with five inches close to me looking like they had a closet bad day.

"Why is the color draining?" He questioned and she immediately looked down. "... You have five minutes to fix yourself or you will get fired." he warned and walked into the elevator.

Unlike other kids who gladly take on their parent's business Hayes refused and insisted on doing nothing but fashion and his parents knew they had no choice but to let him do what he wanted.

Hayes believed that every emotion had a prize but love was only accepted in fairy tales and a quick fling was accepted in the real world.

Marriage wasn't his thing and never will even if his father constantly talked to him about at the end of the day it just end up with 'Father I'm not getting married and that's final'

He picked up a tape rule and a pair of scissors from the desk before he began to cut some fabric. It was a wedding dress and he was just given the contract to do whatever it is that he wanted and that was the kind of job Hayes loved a lot, though the contract was the snitch everything the bride, the groom, groomsmen and bridesmaid were to wear but he had his focus on the bride dresses before he felt that it must be the glamour of the wedding.

Though Hayes sense of fashion has made him famous in Romania but his arrogance and attitude was why people feared him but yet loved him.

He began to attach close to the mannequin when Mia walked in and he accidentally dropped a piece of cloth on the floor which made her heart sink. The poor girl was already too scared for her life due to all the incidents that happened already and now she forgot to knock on the door before opening.

"Mia Jane Clayton?" He questioned while standing straight with his piercing blue eyes watching her like a prey.

"Yes sir."

"How many fucking times do I have to tell you not to walk in here without knocking?!" He yelled and she flinched but he didn't care as a matter of fact he loved it when people were scared of him.

"I'm so sorry sir it won't happen again."

"Really..." He began to walk closer to her while she backed away from him. She knew he had quite a reputation of being a man whore but he had never really tried any with her. "... Where did the marbles come from this morning?" She felt his hot breath against her face.

"Genevieve's Desk." she blurted out.

"And the pipe breakage or rather the water spill?" her eyes widened the moment she heard that she wondered how on earth he even found out about that.

"The janitor had kept water at the door and I didn't see it when I walked in so I kicked the bucket and fell."

"Oh Mia" he punched the wall almost causing a hole but he did have his knuckles bleeding out. "... I hate lies and you just happen to lie to me so how about this, you'll be my new janitor."

"I'd rather quit sir." she said quietly and he stayed silent for a while before he burst into pure laughter.

"Did anyone tell you that it was a very bad idea to work with me or be your assistant?"

"Yes."

"Why didn't you obey them?"

"Be... Because I didn't want to judge a book by its cover." he let out yet another laugh.

"If you are working here as my assistant you can't quit unless I kick you out, let me guess you didn't read the papers given to you to sign, did you?"

"I didn't."

"Well that's so unfortunate for you but as of right now you need to get down and change into the janitor's clothes and that is exactly where you should stick to till I say you are good to go and put this dress somewhere safe or I'll kill you if it gets ruined."

"Yes sir."

"Call Genevieve and Dax."

"Ok." She left the office with tears filled in her eyes but Hayes didn't care about a thing as he continued to pin the fabric to the mannequin and just then he heard a knock on the door.

"Come in." he grunted while he took the pair of scissors to cut.

"You called sir?" They both questioned but he raised his hand up for them to shut up while he was trying to get the perfect cut.

"Genevieve you're fired and make sure I don't find a single marble after you leave and Felix get me every fabric on that list in the factory and everything you think we need to make groomsmen and groom's cloth, you miss anything I won't spare you."

"Yes sir " they both left immediately but then he received a phone call.

"This is business no fucking body is allowed to call me by this time of the day!" He growled.

"It's me Hayes."

"Don't you have a freaking name?"

"Delilah."

"Again, don't fucking call me at this freaking hour of the day and don't ever call me again." he hung up and placed the phone on the desk.

He took a deep breath and continued with his job. Hayes has always hated disturbance and his father was worried about him for he knew how disrespectful his son could be yet he couldn't really do anything to stop him.

Hayes was a neat freak any sign of dirt irritated the hell out of him and he didn't care if you are older or young, poor or rich he will fire you instantly and the more you try to plead for another chance he will hunt you and your family secretly to make sure that you all live of the street.

Only people who worked with him knew how ruthless he was but other than them the world thinks he is a model from his looks and intelligent by his style and ways in which he speaks.

"Sir, some of the fabrics are not available." He heard Felix's voice from the intercom and immediately stopped.

"What did you say?" He questioned just to be sure he really got what he said right.

"Some of the fabrics are not available or rather are not ready yet."

"I'm coming there." he dropped the tap and walked towards the elevator.

While folding up his blue buttoned-up t-shirt sleeve he flipped his hair and a girl he happened to almost bumped into passed out and he didn't know if he was to give her a slap for scaring him or yell at an unconscious girl.

"Take care of her and keep her here till I get back."

"Yes sir."
