Chapter 110: It did not fit

He would not have had the mind to treat her the way he was treating her right now even if though she was still opportuned to work as a secretary in his company.

Then he remembered how the burn on her chest looked like when he saw it in his car, he remembered how she laid down and he was sure that she had forgotten the pains of the world at that moment, may be she just wanted to rest her head, mind and soul for some minutes while she waited for him to return from the meeting he had attended.

He wondered how all this happened in the first place, he had always been like this but it seemed like his wickedness and hatred towards her grow day by day, he just keeps on hating her and now her best friend had challenged him, he never believed that she would keep a fighter as a friend, Nicole is definitely a fighter, he wonders how Raymond copes with her attitude and domineering self, she even dared to sue him to court, did she not think before she said that or was she trying to make a fool out of him.

His mind kept on racing as he thought of lots of things that were currently happening in his life and he asked himself questions.

' Is this the type of life I signed up for? '

' Is this the reason I worked so hard to be a successful man without the help of anyone? '

' Was I brought into this world to treat women like garbage? Like trash? ' 

He kept in asking himself lots of questions as he rested his head on the steering and mistakenly blew the car's horn, then he raised his head up in shock, he has never been like this in years now, so why was he feeling like this now.

He had never thought about his life neither has he asked himself questions about what was going on in his life and this was because he believed he had a perfect life.

He looked around him and picked up a napkin, which he used to wipe out those thoughts out of his face, he definitely did not want to experience all this heart ache of a thing, he wanted to continue been that bossy boss he had always being from the beginning and no one, he believed that no one would ever make him change of that attitude.

While he finished wiping his face, he threw the already used napkin on the floor of the car as he started the car's engine and drove out of the hospital premises.

He needed to go home , have a long lasting shower and dive into his bed, he was not sure he would go to the office once day breaks, he needed to rest and then he remembered not granting Tina any day for leave and then he out himself in her shoes and saw that it did not fit in, most at times, one goes through some hardships and want to do nothing but rest the whole day, he was really taking advantage of her.
