"She said her surname was Gu," the secretary answered truthfully. "Vice president, do you want to see her?"

Before she could finish speaking, Huo Jingting interrupted, "Let her in."

After hanging up the intercom, the man put the receiver back in its place, a complex look flashing through his narrow phoenix eyes.

It wasn't long before the door to the office was violently kicked open from outside. Gu Nanqiao walked in with a weary face, carrying an unmistakable anger.

Huo Jingting remained seated in his chair, not moving. He looked up at the person opposite him and spoke indifferently, "Before entering, you should knock on the door. Doesn't Miss Gu know these most basic manners?"
