Unwanted Feelings

Sebastian's POV

I'm unable to take my gaze away. She's in my office, and the door in the restroom is open. I can't take my gaze away from her, even though I know I shouldn't. Who goes to the restroom and leaves the door open? Stella, it appears, thinks so. Not that I'm complaining now that I'm sitting here and can't fucking stop myself from laughing.

My dick throbs in my pants as if it were predestined. It was nice to see her again. The second time, well, she was all wet and wrapped in a towel on the balcony of my condo.

Stella doesn't notice I'm there for a long time, and when she does, she literally jumps out of her skin with a shocking reaction.

"Can you tell me why you're staring at me? I was under the impression that I was alone," she said. She immediately gets to her feet and puts her pant on, but she's too late because I can't undo what I've seen already.

"You may try locking the door to do that," I suggest, a satisfied grin on my face as I resume my attention to the paperwork on my office desk that I had been looking for previously. Apart from that, I saw a heck of a lot more last night.

"You should not look," she says as she closed the door behind her with one foot.

"That's where you're wrong, tiny pet-sitter," she hears me through the closed door because I speak loud enough for her to hear me. "There's no way a hot-gorgeous male is going to look away from a barely clad, stunning woman. Aside from that, it's my own office."

I don't understand what she says in her response, but I'm running late for a meeting with Louis, who has already arrived and is eager to see me. After the multiple twelve- to twenty-four-hour days of bargaining sessions we've had with Mr. Bill, Steve, and the lawyers this week, my elder brother dreads the thought of having to come in on the weekend.

"By the way, Giesel sent me a message informing me that my driver had arrived at the parking lot. I told her that she could take you down to the parking lot," I explained.

"I think I'll be able to get myself home," Stella says as she reopens the door of the restroom.

When I see her in front of me, I am completely unprepared for my own emotion. Her hair is calling to me, and my fingers are yearning to get into it. Every instinct in me wants to bridge the distance between us, grab her into my arms, and crush her head against my chest while my hands explore every curve of her body and my lips claim hers. But I can't. Immediately, the vision of putting her on my office desk, separating her legs, and wrapping them around my waist comes to the forefront of my thoughts. Without getting her out of my office immediately away, I'm going to wind up with my balls deep inside of her, fucking her until she's unconscious on my desk.

I should be stepping back, but I find myself walking closer to her instead. Stella wears her hair pulled back over one shoulder. Despite the fact that it's a completely harmless motion on her behalf, it reveals the delicate, long lines of her neck and collarbone beneath her shirt, and now I'm once again sucked into her web. As I return my gaze to her, I notice a faint dark patch at the base of her ear lobe. It is barely discernible. While I'm looking at it, it gradually changes shape, flattening out at the bottom and elongating at the point where it brushes her earlobe. Because of gravity, she is able to remove it from the base of her earlobe and let it fall to the edge of her shirt collar.

"You're hurt, there's a blood," I say, my voice filled with what I believe to be far too much compassion for the situation. But I can't help myself. I'm in front of her in less than a split second.

"What?" she asks, plainly perplexed and perhaps a little afraid at the same time. "No, I'm not wounded in any way. In all seriousness, I'm absolutely okay."

"You're bleeding. Do not make a move."

"What? Where?"

"Just be quiet for a second." I look on her ear to check what kind of blood loss we're dealing with before putting the towel back in her hand. A faint streak of crimson reappears, but this time there is no pooling of blood as the previous time. "It appears to be a scrape."

"Oh. Luca was in my lap a while ago, so it's most likely from him. Maybe he accidentally scratches me. "

When she isn't looking, I slip into the restroom and get the medicine cabinet. In the process of pulling one from the box, I advise her, "Your boss might consider increasing your rates to include danger pay."

I take the band-aid and explain to me that they're very wonderful most of the time. Her eyes are fixed on a spot on the wall in front of her as I remove the bandage from its wrapper.

My fingers press the bandage down into Stella's skin to hide the scratch, and her lashes flutter as my fingers press the wrap down onto her flesh to cover the scrape.

"I don't bite," I say, but my face is so near to the side of her head that I can't help but brush my lips along the top of her ear. Stella leans in close to my touch for a split second, but before I can respond, she pulls away just as quickly as she came.

"I should go check on the cats," she says, a tinge of panic in her voice.

"It's probably a good idea," I grunt out. "My secretary will see you out when you're ready," I say, turning to leave before I go too far in my escalation of the situation. This is my office, yet it is not permitted to take place. I was in a hurry to get out of my office and went into Louis's office without shutting the door behind me. Finally, I'm able to think clearly and concentrate on the reason I'm here.
