Chapter 74

I stood there hugging Claire for a couple of minutes. She rubbed my back to make me feel at ease.

“Are you ok?” She asked me as soon as I broke the hug.

“I am fine.” I said nodding my head.

I didn’t tell her why I had this sudden urge to hug her like that. Not did I let her know that I know her past. I don’t want to make her feel awkward around me. I want her to tell this to me by herself, it doesn’t count if Amy tells me Claire's past. It’s not valid if it’s Amy who is conveying Claire's feelings to me. Its not the same.

“

I took a deep breath.

“Amy, Claire, I know the decision I took is not supported by the two of you and I know you guys will never support me in this.” I said and paused for a second to look at their faces and continued again.
