Chapter 65

I got up from the chair and my eyes went to the lunch box that Claire gave to me.

I forgot to ask Mrs Green to taste it. Claire wanted to know Mrs Green's review on the cake. Claire loves to bake, I think she is interested in cooking if only I could help her with this. If only I have the guts to talk to Mrs Green and request her to let her help in the kitchen. Claire would be thrilled if that happens.

But, now that I have this stupid decision about going back home, I can’t even ask Mrs Green for any request. I am of no use to anyone! I can’t help anyone or myself!

Mia! Stop self-loathing! I don’t know why don’t have no self-confidence and no self-respect! I keep on pulling myself down! Gosh! I need to escape from this place and from all these people especially my dad and then maybe I will be able to live my life freely.

I sighed deeply!

My life expectancy must be decreasing each day with the amount of stress I am taking!
