I stared at him, shocked by his reaction. He was denying it so hard.

My heart skipped a beat. He doesn’t hate me! I can’t believe my ears! He doesn’t hate me! I am so glad and relieved!

I smiled to myself, blushing hard.

“Why are you smiling?” He asked suddenly.

“What?! Nothing!” I said looking down in embarrassment.

“Are you laughing at me? Look, I never lie, okay! I really don’t hate you. In fact I…” He was about to say something but stopped midsentence.

“You?” I asked, urging him to complete his sentence.

“I care about you. Didn’t I tell you before, even if you don’t remember me, I have found memories of yours. The memories that are makes me not hate you. The happy memories because of which I still care about you and that prevents me from treating you like an enemy. You may not remember anything but I am glad that I have all the memories. You are important to me.” He said looking in a distance.

“Why?” I asked.

“What why?” He asked confused.
