“It’s ok if you don’t want to tell me.” Mrs Green said when I didn’t respond.

“It’s not like that, it’s just…it’s complicated.” I finally replied.

“Complicated? Isn’t your dad so rich and looking at how passionate you are about interior designing, it’s just a piece of cake for you to follow your passion, isn’t it?” She asked. I can’t tell if she was being genuine or sarcastic at this point.

“Not everything is how it seems. People just assume things about you but your life is far from that perfect picture.” I replied smiling bitterly.

“You know…” She said and held my hand, I looked at her feeling uneasy.

“You can tell me if there is anything…just anything. I will listen to you.” She said with sympathetic eyes.

“I…I am sorry, but…but…it’s a really sensitive topic for me. I hope you understand.” I replied looking down.

“I…I get it. I do.” She said patting my hand.
