Chapter 126

I heard the lock on my door get unlocked and quickly hide away the diary.

The door opened and Mrs Nixon walked inside.

“Mrs Nixon, what are you doing so late at night?” I asked her shocked.

“I was just passing by and saw that the light of your room was on so I thought to check up on you. Can’t sleep?” She asked me.

“No.” I replied.

“Do you need something? Are you hungry?” She asked me.

“Thank you, but I don’t anything. And I don’t think you should come here at this time. If dad sees you here then he might get suspicious. It will be better for you if you leave.” I said to her.

“I will leave in a bit. Don’t worry about me. Are you alright? You must be stressed about the wedding, right? But, don’t worry. I will help you out.” She said smiling.
