Chapter 4: A Sudden Declaration

"Excuse me, I need to go out for a bit." Yoon excuses himself.

Yoon followed Yanyan which leaves Gin and Aria together at the table.

"The one who is always with Won, that is Yoon's past lover, isn't she?"

Ignores Aria

"So she is. Gin, you also noticed that, didn't you?"

Gin still ignores Aria.

*clears throat* "What do you think? He still loves her, don't he?"

"tch, you never answer me." Aria mumbles to herself.

"Yanyan!" Yoon shouted.

Yanyan ignores him and just continued walking but Yoon catches up and grabbed her by the hand.

"Yanyan, please, at least talk to me."

"We have nothing to talk about."

"I still love you."

Yanyan contemplated for a bit.

"But I don't. So let go of me now."

"Do you really mean it? Everything you just said. Do you really mean it?"

"hm. I do."

Yoon slowly lets go of Yanyan's hand.

He then felt a pain on his chest as if someone is clutching his heart inside him.

Yanyan returns back to their dining table and so as Yoon with a gloomy face.

"What made you look so gloomy all of the sudden?" Aria asked.

"It's nothing."

------------A Few Hours Later----------

Yoon suddenly stands up.

"What's wrong with you?"

Yoon looked at Aria then to the other guest.

"To our beloved guests, may I all have your attentions. This unending mock battle between me and Won of the wolf village is still yet to be decided however, I would like to use this opportunity with all your presence here to announce something important."

Yoon stretches his hand out to Aria.

"Me? Why?"

Aria was confused yet still took his hand.

"Today, I pronounce my engagement with this beautiful lady Aria who has been beside me and supporting me all the time."

Aria's smile genuine until she realizes what Yoon was saying.

Aria's mind: What? Engagement? Who? This bastard💢💢 should I chop his head off?

At that time Aria was just like the perfect image of a devil in disguise of an angel's face.

On the other hand, Gin chokes down on his drink.

Despite causing such commotion, Yoon's mind is still on Yanyan, thinking that by doing such, she will eventually comeback to him.

Whilst the crowds cheered for them and Yanyan was kinda hurt.

The banquet ended and everyone departed.

Another day comes ....

"Chief the ceremony went smoothly as expected without any inconveniences."

"okay, you may go now..."

"Well, actually chief....."

"what, what is it?"

"The young master __"

"What did my son do? Don't tell me he..."

"No chief, that wasn't the case, actually he pronounced his engagement during the banquet."

"Sooner than expected. I thought he would try and delay it more. hahahaha. So who is this girl he proposed to?"

"Chief, it is the one whom you saw at garden the other day, the one young master Yoon brought home during the night you came home from hunting."

"Hahahahaha. So its that beautiful maiden back then. Call her in."

"As you wish, chief"

The chief's trusted aid went to fetch Aria, while the chief delightedly awaited for her.

Aria was on her room unable to fall asleep due to what happened at the banquet.

"Aria, stop thinking about it and just go to sleep, will you? It was just probably a joke. Yes a joke." She mumbles to herself.

Starts to close her eyes when.

Baam!! The door opens.

"I am trying to sleep here please don't disturb me." 💢💢 Aria said

"Good morning miss Aria I've__"

"What??!😱 its morning already? aaaahhh~ (whines frustratedly) So what is it?"

"Yes, I've come to fetch you as per the chief's order."

Aria then prepared herself and obliged to the chief's calling.

"You called for me, chief?" Aria asked.

"Yes, yes, come on in."

Aria enters.

"Make yourself comfortable."

"ah~yes chief."

Aria sat down.

"So let us begin with introduction, shall we?"

"Oh yes. I am Aria, chief."

"Is that all?"

"Yes, chief."

"Where did you come from?"

"I don't remember, chief."

"How about your parents?"

"I also don't remember chief."

"So what do you remember?" Starts to get frustrated.

"Nothing chief."

"Nothing?"

"Yes chief, nothing."

chief sighs

"So then what did you like on my son?"

"uuuhhh.... ummmmm....." starts to think.

-----------A Few Minutes Earlier--------

"Yoon, Are you really taking miss Aria to be your bride?" Gin said.

"Yes, I am."

"But Yoon, we don't even know anything about her? How can you be so sure she is of no danger to you?"

"Don't worry too much Gin. If it turns out she was a foe then I'll be the one to kill her myself." Yoon smiles in assurance.

"Young Master!!! Young Master!!!" called by the servant outside his chamber.

"Come in, What is it?"

"I've just received a message that your father's aid came to Miss Aria's Chambers this morning to fetch her.." servant gasping for air.

Gin and Yoon looked at each other worried. Seconds later Yoon dashed out his room and went straight to his father's chamber and Gin followed.

"So then what did you like about my son?"

"uuuhhh.... ummmmm....." starts to think.

Baam!!!! the door opens wide. This made the chief and Aria startled.

"Why didn't you tell me you're going to call for Aria?"

"Do I need to ask for your permission to call for__?"

"Of course" said Yoon.

"Why is that so? Are you perhaps hiding something?"

Aria's mind: Should I help him? Or should I not? No, no, no, Aria don't get involved.

"Well ummmm, its because... she's my woman now. Let's go."

Yoon held Aria's hand and starts to walk away but Aria stopped for a moment.

"Chief you asked me earlier right on what I like about him? Well, he's handsome enough to be with me...." Aria smiles.

"Handsome enough?....hahahahahaha" The chief laughs

"yes! and more than that he also has a good heart."☺

Yoon is stunned to what Aria said.

"Okay, Okay, I get it. You may go now. My son must be so eager to be alone with you.."

Aria blushed.

"Then we will take our leave." Aria awkwardly said.

Yoon then dragged Aria outside the room.

"Yoon, let go, you're hurting me."

As soon as Yoon heard Aria he let's go of her hand.

"Oh, I'm sorry. Aria don't ever ever obliged to my father's calling without informing me. You get it?"

"Why?"

"You don't have to know."

"Why?"

"Don't be stubborn and just do as I say!"

Aria got more frustrated.

"Why do you always keep saying that I shouldn't know anything? What is it that you are trying to hide? I know that it is out of my boundaries to pry unto others lives but shouldn't you at least explain a bit so that I can understand. And also shouldn't you explain what happened at the banquet? Haven't you considered what I felt during that time. What was about this sudden engagement thing....??

Aria's words were cut by a sudden soft like marshmallow texture against her lips.

This lasted for seconds which left Aria startled and speechless

"Does that suffice your questions?"

Aria snaps back to reality.

"What? A-a-about what?"

"Are you a fool or what? Do I need to do it again for you to understand?"

Yoon holds Aria's cheeks and slowly puts his face closer to hers but Aria pushes him and run away.

Aria panting.

"What was that all about?" Slowly touches her lips.

*Slaps herself* "Hey, Aria. What do you think you're doing?.....aaaaahhhhh!!!!! This is all because of him. How am I going to face him now?" Aria said to herself as she frustratedly whines.

Aria then wonders around in hopes to take her mind out of what has happened but unfortunately she couldn't stop thinking about it which made her more frustrated than ever before.

Bumps to someone..

Aria looks up...

"oh, Gin, (she sighs in relief) its you. Can you take me once again to that tailor shop we went before?"

Gin stares at her coldly.

"well I just somehow forgot to take my clothes there. Please.🥺"

"No" Gin answers.

"Why?!" Aria asked.

"Because I'm busy, and I have no time for you"

Gin walks away...

"Tch, that man really...!" Aria mumbles to herself.

Yoon watches Aria run away from him.

"Young master, I just received a report that the east wing is being attacked by bandits." Said Gin as he arrives

"Call for some soldiers and let's provide an assistance."

"As you wish, young master."

As they gather some soldiers they marched towards the east wing.

Swooosshhh, A flying arrow was spotted going towards a certain bandit which penetrated his heart causing an instant death.

"The young master is here!!" A soldier shouted as they saw him holding a bow.

The young master's arrival boosts the soldiers morals as they shout with pride.

Gin's sword slit through a bandit's back. Whilst, Yoon on the other pierces his through every enemy he encountered with. Same with the other soldiers who fighting along side them yet they are having a hard time defeating the bandits.

Then A big powerful man swings his sword towards Yoon while he blocks it with his sword and was pushed away.

"Oh my, oh my, isn't it the little traitor." Said bandits' leader.

Yoon heard a familiar voice from that man and starts to shake in fear as he stare at the bandits' leader.

Yoon holds his right hand to stop it from shaking.

"Gruu....." Yoon said angrily.

*smirks* "Miss me? You traitor!!"

Gru the Bandits' leader once again swing his swords towards Yoon however, Yoon blocked it again using his sword.

The two charged against each other aggressively until Gru slashes Yoon's right arm.

Yoon shouts in pain.

Once again their fight continues but this time Yoon caused a rapture on Gru's left leg. Nevertheless, Gru saw this as an opportunity and he pierces his sword on Yoons stomach.

"Noooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!" A familiar voice shouted.

As Yoon throws up blood.

"Young master!!!!" Gin shouted as he notices what has happened.
