New knowledge

Working in the shop is not busy. Xiao has some time to go out for some extra money. Chole junkyard is the biggest junk station in seventh district. Many big machines are working with the junk mountains every day but the number of mountains are still slowly growing. This is the headquarter of grey area in the seventh district. 'Civet' is the boss here. Where there are people there are gangs. They are like shadows under sun.

The world is chaotic. Although West capital is the capital of Stardragon, the power from other nations and organisations are hiding in this city, such as munitions merchants, intelligence merchants, assassins from dark net etc.. They all have their sphere of influence. Although they are well-known here, those forces couldn't confront the military.

Xiao enters the junkyard with masks. Several fierce men stop him, "Boy, this place is not for you!." A strong bold man stands right in the way and looks at him with scorn. Xiao is thin like a sheep to him.

"Take me to Civet." Xiao says with calm.

This group of guards laugh to tears. "We don't have time for you. Fuck off or leave your leg here." The bold man threatens with the wrench in his hand.

"So Civet let minion like you speak for him?"

"What?" The bold man gets furious and pulls Xiao's collar. Xiao doesn't say anything but uses his hand and grabs the man's wrist. The bold man feels a sharp pain from the wrist and releases Xiao. He glimpses at his wrist and there are several finger bruises.

"Who are you working for, my friend." The bold man is alert. This moment, the bold man puts his hand near his ear and listens to the micro-earphone. He throws his guard off and lets Xiao in, "Boss wants to meet you."

Xiao follows another strong man into a lounge in the junkyard. A slim man is sitting on the coach casually with a wine on his hand. It is hard to tell from his common appearance that he is the boss who controls this grey area in seventh district. Civet says carelessly, "I heard that you want to meet me. Who are you?"

"Machinist Han" Xiao answers.

"If you are wasting my time, you know the consequence." Civet sneers. It has been a while since some one dares to come to him alone for business. Xiao looks like a kid. Civet meets Xiao just out of curiosity.

Xiao rises his elbow and pokes his hands towards the waist of the bold man. Before others figure out what happened, there is a pistol in Xiao's hand. The bold man is shocked and reaches out for his pistol on the waist. It is gone.

The guards after Civet pull out guns in a sec and aim at Xiao.

"What is this?" Civet is amazed. He knows about the bold man who is an elite guard here. But even he can't follow the movement of this young man, who is he? Xiao's fingers moves fast and the gun is dissembled like a perish follower. It is turned into parts and spread on the ground in a breath.

"Munition is a highly profitable business. I can help you save the cost in exchange with some remuneration."

Civet's eyes enlarger. This boy knows how to make guns! Munition is the hard currency in any grey areas. Guns are quite expensive in dark market. The machinist who can make gun is very welcomed. But Civet's power is not bigger enough to attract experienced machinist. Now Xiao comes and Civet sniffs the great chance.

"What do you want?"

"I will make a list. You provide the materials and parts. I will make and assemble guns. I will come two hours every morning. $1,500 per pistol and I will take the machine junk I like from the station." Guns in the Sprout base was studied by Xiao throughly. It is easy for him to make guns.

Civet is greedy, "All materials and tools are mine, $1,000 per pistol."

Xiao leaves without any response. Civet is panic and asks, "Alright, 1,500, 1,500. Deal." A pistol can worth 3 - 4k in dark market. The price Xiao asks is reasonable.

"You prepare the lathe, tools and all parts. I will come tomorrow. I will take some junks." Xiao is aware that machinists control the negotiation. In addition, they don't know his identity and power level.

Civet signs to the bold man to follow Xiao. He doesn't care to give out some benefit to Xiao. The junkyard is his place. Xiao takes some parts which is still functioning and leaves. Soon, he notices that he is followed. He knew what Civet wants. Civet wants to know who he is and where he lives. After leaving the junk station, Xiao runs around several streets and gets rid of the bold man.

"Now, Thirteen will know that I am a machinist." Xiao thinks. It is easy for Thirteen to find out that he is earning some extra money with Civet. Cooperating with Civet is a way to show his talents and he needs to make machine for money and experience. Although low power machinist is not good at fighting, they are more favoured by camp. As for Civet, Xiao chooses him for he is the closet which saves his commute time.

When Xiao gets back to the shop, he is asked by Qian. Xiao points at the parts he takes back, "I went to the junk station to look for something useful."

"Junk station? It is not safe there. You'd better not go there in the future." Qian is fine with Xiao going out as long as the orders are finished on time. She favours employee who can work and don't desire a high salary. Xiao puts down the parts and checks the panel. He uses the free talents points to learn the two basic knowledge left.

The shop has a full collection of the knowledge for machinist which is the personal collection of geezer Lu. Xiao goes to Lu and is rejected without doubt.

"I want to see some books of machine."

"Fuck off. There is no book for you here."

"Come on, see it as an investment. I am working for you."

"Shameless but I don't want to give you books. What could you do?"

This is a good question, what could Xiao do? The next day, Qian puts the book which she steals from grandpa into Xiao's hand. Lu is angry, "Why I have a granddaughter who helps the outsider!" Qian has the key to his room which he can't get it back. He needs her to do all the cleaning. "Xiao, you baster. One day, I will let you pay the price and kick you away!"

|Basic weapon| and |Basic materials|, the last two basic knowledge Xiao needs. The transfer mission is to learn an advance knowledge which requires five basic knowledge beforehand. The transfer mission is not fixed. It could be a fight or looking for something etc. The one Xiao is facing is not easy as the advanced knowledge in the planet for new players is rare. This mission is often allocated to players at level 40. A normal lv. 20 player sometimes doesn't have one basic knowledge. Those unlucky even didn't unlock their specialisation.

There is no advanced knowledge in this shop but Xiao is happy with the basic knowledge books in his hand. Finding knowledge is always headache for all players. The 'Rule for contact with civilisations (seventh version)' set by the three greatest civilisations in the universe, "If a wisdom species is discovered, war, genetic, information… etc. in total 127 ways are strictly forbidden to interpret the development of low class civilisation." Thus, blue planet didn't obtain high-end knowledge from the universe. The advanced knowledge is already the best one can have here and is controlled by big camp as top secret.
